• The convenience of the kitchenette.
• The location of the bed, it seemed to be stuck in the corner and not very well ventilated.

• We liked all of this. Nothing negative. Loved it.

“This hotel is in a wonderful, out of traffic but close to airport location. Very friendly staff (and we checked in at 11 PM). We would definitely go out of our way to stay here again when in Providence/Warwick area.”

• Good location even if a bit hard to find.
• No continental breakfast, no shampoo provided.

“Hotel was overall clean, safe, and attractive. Cost was higher than the holiday inn express which was nicer in two other new England towns we visited. Room did not have shampoo which was an oversight by the cleaning staff. Continental breakfast was not available which was inconvenient. This made the cost higher too.”

• Extremely difficult to find. Street did not have name sign.

“Location caters to long term guests. Room had kitchenette with stovetop, dishwasher, microwave oven as well as dishes, silverware etc. Cleaning service is only performed every 7 days, however fresh towels & shampoo is available at the desk. Location was difficult to find as the street did not have a name sign at the intersection where the directions sent me.”

• Pretty good value for the money. Would not stay there again.
• In a rather busy wall-mart area.

“Friendly, courteous staff -- good marks for them. Room was ok but only there because fairly close to the airport for early flight. Would not pick this hotel again though because not close enough to airport. Old, but clean and freshly painted. They tried.”

• The table was great for work, the office chair was comfortable.
• The internet connectivity was poor.

“The internet connectivity was really bad. I stayed the first night without internet; I then tried two other rooms for internet service, the second worked to acceptable level.”

• Clean, comfortable. Diane "talked" us home from our dinner location when we were lost.
• Needed directions from hotel staff to find due to "hidden" location.

• Very friendly desk person.
• Asked for hotel but got extended stay so no room clean up at all daily also no shampoo had to go to desk and ask.

“If you are going to stay for a week or more I guess it would be ok but did not like no cleaning of rooms or restocking of toiletries. My 3 day stay, maid never entered room and seeing I asked for hotel NOT extended stay I feel I was Not given what I asked for.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly. The front desk moved our room without complaint or question because of the strong odor in our room..
• Odor, cleanliness, location was NOT across the street from airport Did I mention it smelled really bad.

“Ok for a poor broke business person who has no money because the business is failing. Stay here. This hotel smelled and it was dirty. If you need internet great, a leather business chair that was sticky from God knows what, and you like the smells that make you want to vomit, this is the place for you. One room smelt like feet and feces and the next room we moved to smelled like urine. Urine won. My husband and I did not use the blankets or sheets.”

• I really enjoyed the managers reception in the evenings Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
• There wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

• Recent renovations look wonderful . I like having a kitchen.
• Can't complain about anything.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and lobby look great compared with my stay last year. (Recent renovations were needed to replace worn and tired decor) I like having a full kitchen in my room to eat in rather than always going out to dinner, which gets old, expensive and fattening. Highly recommend this hotel for business travel or pleasure.”

“Very surprised at how nice the hotel was. Considering it The room was extremely nice as was the staff. Location was surprising, only 1.5 miles from the airport and the malls, and 10 minutes from downtown Providence. I was very impressed.”

• The rooms had Full kitchens.
• Room I was in DID NOT HAVE A TUB /also couldn't get a room with Tub.

“I have stayed at many hotels in my time and have never seen a Hotel room that did NOT have a TUB in the bathroom I was forced to take a terrible shower with very low water pressure, when I asked the front desk. I should have booked with the hotel directly for a better room, I didn't like the room I stayed in .”

• The room was clean and provided full sized refr, micro, sink. Like the fact that it had a pull-out sofa . Desk clerk very professional and courteous.
• The price was right for a weekend stay but I would have liked to have coffee and tea available Sat and Sun.

“Very nice hotel. A little off the beaten path, so follow directions carefully and make sure you know that it is Homestead not another hotel with similar name. Desk clerk (Monika) very courteous. Room was adequate size with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa. Nice table for work or for meals. Liked free continental breakfast but only Mon thru Friday. How about just coffee and tea setup on weekends?”

• There are no complimentary toiletries, so bring your own.

“We were very impressed with the room considering the low price that was accepted with the name your own price, we would consider staying at a homestead again even at full price.”

• Guest food pantry with lots of healthy choices.
• They are not licensed to sell milk with their courtesy breakfast.

“The location is a little tricky to find, and the satellite television was broken the night I was there and no milk in my morning coffee makes me cranky - but the hotel is clean and comfortable, safe and welcoming.”

• We had some problems - the toilet was stopped up, the dishwasher didn't work. There were a lot of tiny black ants.

I would use this hotel and would recommend this hotel to everyone who wanted to stay in the Providence Area. It would be impossible for anyone to find anything they did not like about this hotel.”

• Quick access to Providence and Warwick.
• Mattress very poor quality.

“No daily maid service - so towels and sheets weren't changed nor was trash emptied. These are significant drawbacks and unexpected. Also, no king-sized bed, just a queen and the mattress was very unsupportive - poor quality. TV remote was missing from room - got new one from front desk but it didn't have controls to order movies.”

“Not really 2 stars - apart from no shampoo in the room, the drapes didn't close and in a 1st floor room this made me feel insecure. had to take towels to close gap. advertise continental breakfast but no milk or cream for coffee - only white powders. staff was friendly but when I arrived at 12am had to wait 5 min for someone to show up”

• Decent room for the price
• Room smelled like smoke, no pool

“This hotel was an excellent value for the rate. The room was not perfectly cleam and smelled of smoke, but it was decent. They have a jacuzzi, but no pool. They serve a manager's luncheon during weekdays, but not weekends, so I do have a rating on the luncheon, but staff stated they serve hot foods. They have a very small work out room, a self-serve convenience store, and a lounge where they have books, television, and games available. Overall a nice place.”

• it was disgusting. It had a horrible smell and we had to change rooms and the next room smelt almost as bad.
