“Room was dirty, no towels, front desk was lacking, no pool, breakfast was coffee and English muffins?”

• Nothing.
• The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom sink was in the bedroom and there was no storage space for our things.

“The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses were very hard/firm. There were not enough towels in the bathroom and the sink was very small and not even located in the bathroom. It was by the door exiting the room!

• Wonderful staff.
• Room much need for repair, curtains failing down etc.

“Just what we all needed for that night. Do not know if next year we will stay there. Room needed work, staff was great.”

• Quick check in and out process.
• No air conditioning in the rooms and it was very hot and also smelled bad.

“It is definitely an economy hotel. Someplace to lay your head out of the rain.”

• Staff was not that helpful.

“Stay was ok. However, I thought it was rude of the staff to not allow staying in the lobby for a few hours while waiting for transport back home. As a registered guest for 3 days, I don't see why a public lobby could not be used to wait and work on a laptop while waiting to go home. I thought that was poor treatment of a guest. Other hotels allow their guests to stay in the lobby and/or even store their luggage while waiting to go to the airport etc.”

“When we stayed here, we had what is perhaps the single most disturbing experience ever at a hotel. While checking in with my wife and 13 month old son, two men brought in from outside an argument -- evidently about a drug deal! Profanities and shouting flew, one man clearly on something. This, of course, had us fearing for our safety. What was even more shocking was that the manager on duty ignored all of this, continuing to check us in as if this was an everyday occurrence! It certainly isn't for us. What if these men had been armed? To say the least, no matter how comfortable the beds could have been, we wouldn't have slept well. I have never felt unsafe at a brand name hotel before. What is going on at this place? We've been soured on Econo Lodge permanently as a result, and we'll make sure none of our family and friends stay there in Manchester.”

• The staff were helpful, welcoming and cheerful.
• The room had a not so clean feel in the bathroom and living space rug.

“The staff was most welcoming and nice. The room did not have a very clean feel. The bed was changed and clean, and the bathroom fixtures were clean, but the tile floor was in need of a scrub and the rug a deep cleaning as well. Other than that, our stay was nice.”

• No night stands/remote for TV not working/not clean.

“Same soap from last customers left in there/asked for pillow for baby and they weren't sure if they had one they would call me later. Could not see clock because there were no night stands. Bad area of city.”

• It was the right price.
• The non-functioning toilet at 1 am and the draws that was not stable.

“The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The room however had a strange smell. The room was poorly lit and the draws were not very stable. The toilet did not function properly and there were strange stains in the shower. The staff would not grant us extra blankets and told us to "turn up the heat" which we did. We got what we paid for.”

• Sink was plugged spit dried on wall/ room very cold and took 8 hours to warm up.

“Very low quality room dried pit on wall sink was plugged up and their was no heat upon entering room.”

• Nothing good, seemed like an old factory that they converted over to a motel.
• Dark , dingy, not really clean, double beds instead of kings that we asked for...

“Could not understand desk clerks, out of the way location, not as pictured in folder, poor parking and dark parking lot. Will never return to that Econo Lodge, first time ever for a bad Econo Lodge, and we have stayed at many over the years.”
