• The room was very good. Above average.
• I called the hotel a week prior and they said I could have a no smoking room. I did get one but by luck.

“You need to pay for room service if desired more than once a week. I only stayed 4 days and didn't really need the service. On the good side, you don't feel you need to leave a tip without room service. Be sure to get or bring extra soap along if you stay for more than 2 days.”

• Not much; front desk help, thats it.
• Room smelled like pet urine, tried three different rooms. All dirty and not cleaned.

“I have stayed at Homestead Studio suites before long-term, and this is the same brand. The hotel was musty, my first room had an unbearable smell, and then after trying three other rooms to look at before finding a 4th - the rooms were all dirty and had not been cleaned, even though the computer said otherwise. I finally ended up in a handicapped room which was alright, but nothing to write home about. Even though this is an extended stay hotel, I have stayed at better. The only good thing was the location right off the highway. I would never stay here again!”

• The hotel did not have any cribs available for my 1.5 yr old son.

“Overall a great hotel. The place is surly ideal for those who require a long stay. We were there one night, and found it quite enjoyable. The kitchenette was very practical. The bed was more comfortable then most other hotels we stay with. The room was spacious.”

• Location, price and clean.
• Had to explain three times to two clerks about my reservations. Mowing lawn near my window at 7:50 a.m. Remote dead batteries, screen hole.

“It is an ok place, sort of like red roof inn except with a refrigerator, micro wave, dishes, utensils etc. If one is fussy this is not the place, it is basic but fits my needs. The desk clerks are slow and constantly make mistakes which sometimes go on for days without correction. But all are not like that, bottom line this is a two star hotel at most, maybe more like a one and a half hotel. Basic, get a deal and you will not complain much. No deal, you may complain more!”

• Unclean smell, poor linens, limited amenities, couldn't connect to internet.

“Very ordinary, basically adequate, very limited amenities, funky smelling deodorant or disinfectant permeates the air. Linens were adequate, certainly not luxurious, I couldn't get on their internet connection, and staff couldn't seem to provide a password that would work. This wouldn't be my first choice.”

• Good staff
• The fire alarm goes off too much in my stays, the fire dept. comes to check it out, usually drunks burning food while cooking

“It is fine if you get a deal, other than that it is the run of the mill, economy motel with a refrigerator, utensils, dishes and a microwave. It also provides internet, which was down when I was there.”

• We lost our cat in the hotel. Housekeeping helped us to find it.
• An oven would have been nice.

“We did a lot of traveling. The hotel was very clean. The price was right. Even if we were away, sometimes for three night, we did not mind the price because it was sp reasonable. The security was an a+.”

“Many of the long term guests at this hotel are smokers and stand outside smoking. Also, the elevators then smell of smoking. This was very off-putting, but the room itself was quite nice and the staff was marvelous.”

• One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in.
• The parking lot and sidewalks were not properly cleared of snow and ice.

“The room was very clean and comfortable, although the mattresses may be too firm for many people. The space in the room was used very efficiently - the kitchenette was situated so as to allow for ease of use while not taking away a lot of space from the rest of the room. There was a snow storm 3 days before we arrived, but the sidewalks and parking lot were not cleared of snow and ice as well as they should have been.”

• The bed was firm, I prefer a softer mattress.

• The clerk charged my credit card for the room even though it was paid for through it.

“We've always liked staying here. On this particular instance the clerk erroneously charged my credit card even though we had prepaid through it. It took a few days for the credit to appear on my credit card account, so that was somewhat inconvenient.”

• The refrigerator in the room was convenient.
• The hallways and corridors reeked of smokers.

“This is a friendly hotel that is probably doing the best it can with the client el that it attracts. There were usually long term guests standing out front smoking and the whole place reeked of smokers. The hotel is home to many foreign contract workers for whom smoking is still socially acceptable.”

• It was cheap.
• I requested non-smoking and it stunk, and so did all our things when we left.

“The staff was friendly and offered help as far as acquainting us with the area, which was not necessary, as I was familiar already, but, the offer was appreciated. Unfortunately, the smell that hits you in the face when you exit the elevator on the 3rd floor is that of stale smoke. The room was not quite so bad, but, after sleeping in the bed all night, my sleep clothing smelled terrible.”

“Excellent for a basic extended-stay type of hotel with kitchenette. Room was clean, the hotel was relatively quiet. The hotel staff were helpful. Only issue was with the satellite TV, some stations had interference, and, with any rain, many stations were unavailable.”

• Hotel sign on the street is too low, & hidden by shrubs, hardly seeable; I missed it when looking for it.

“Tell hotel to have 200 to 400% larger sign for easy identification. Especially the hotel is hidden behind trees, far away from the main road.”

• Slow elevator, TV a bit small.

“Just a really nice place. clean and comfortable with full kitchen, great bathroom, A/C easy to operate. Loved having a recliner to watch TV in. Located just off the highway, so, very easy to get to, but far enough away so it was nice and quiet, no road noises.”

• Marialana, the front desk clerk, was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.
• The cookware that is provided in the kitchenette was not clean, still had food stuck to the pan.

“We looked the convenience of the kitchenette, however the cookware wasn't clean. The room itself was clean but it doesn't have a warm, inviting feel to it. The decor and the bed need improvement.”

“Although the hotel is in a convenient location, it includes no amenities and apparently no service, as we did not receive clean linens once during our three-week stay. When I inquired about this at the front desk, I was told to come back later, at 7am when the desk opened, that the staff member was "working now." It WAS 7am. Very poor and unprofessional service.”

• The hotel gave you the option of using a small "kitchen".
• Soundproofing could have been better.

“The hotel is true to it's name "Extended Stay". If you want to meet business associates or use a hotel restaurant not the place to be, but for longer stays it would be very attractive financially especially for a family.”
