• Staff pleasant and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Lobby quite nice.
• Elevators in need of TLC.

“Very nice, clean hotel. Staff very accommodating and extremely helpful. Room clean, bed very comfortable. Elevators in need of upgrade or refresh. Our room was missing a lamp by the sitting/reading area - difficult to read there - appeared awkward. Would stay here again.”

• The price, the location, and the people are all wonderful.
• My room wasn't cleaned properly, coffee left but no cream and sugar, etc.

“This hotel offers great value in a good location with many dining opportunities close by. The rooms are spacious and clean, includes a coffee maker, TV and free Wi-Fi.”

“It was disappointing to come back to our hotel room late to find the beds not made, etc. I gladly would have made the beds myself had I known we weren't going to receive the service other hotel guests received. It sounds like a little thing, but I was really bothered by it.”

• Very convenient to Loudon where I went to a NASCAR race.
• It's a little old and tired looking.

“The hotel was very convenient to Loudon, Rt. 93 and is downtown, so there are many restaurants etc. The staff was friendly. The room was neat and clean. It had a coffee maker that I used and there is ample parking right out front. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was pretty good. I ate there because there was a thunderstorm going on at dinner time. There is a great Thai restaurant only a block away that I usually go to. Overall, a pretty good experience. It is the third time I have stayed there after the race in London.”

• There was free Wi-Fi in the room.
• Most all hotels now have those dim, yellowish, energy saving light bulbs.

• The art throughout the hotel was really beautiful. Not cheesy like a lot of hotels.
• There were a lot of groups, there didn't seem to be enough comfortable gathering space for all of them in lobby.

“What a nice hotel with extremely friendly staff, comfortable room, great location. There was coffee and tea available 24 hours in the lobby, a nice restaurant (try the lunch buffet, yum!) and perfectly comfortable room. There was a microwave in the room which surprised me. Love the free wireless. It was easy to get on, without codes or passwords. They gave me a late checkout with a smile and every time I came or went, staff and the front desk greeted me. I would definitely return to this hotel; in fact, I look forward to my next visit.”

“Parking was absolutely horrible! Because of the location of Downtown and the restaurant, I had to parking in the back of the hotel, across the street. Air- conditioning was not consistent, and shut off after 5 minutes of use.”

• Older hotel could use updates, not all rooms have microwave or refrigerator and few free standing refrigerators are available.

“If I can't get a refrigerator in my room for my next business stay I will go to another source. I don't like to eat in the restaurant every meal and Im a travel nurse so I get out often at 3 am, thus to have a snack it needs to be in my room. I try to stay healthy and most healthy items require refrigeration. Microwave is almost a ness but I can plan around not having one. Thanks.”

• Hotel for a 3 star is a bit dated but not bad.

• The bathrooms in the restaurant were nice, and the rooms were clean.
• Staff seemed unprofessional, unresponsive.

“Overall, not a bad stay. Clean rooms, and a nice restaurant downstairs. Unfortunately, there was a formal event that evening with a very loud group staying on our floor. When we finally called the front desk at midnight to tell them that there were people running down the halls yelling the response of the front desk was that the event had just broken up and the group would probably quite down in 15 or 20 minutes. They did not speak to the guests who were making all the noise. The group did leave, and returned again at 2 am in an even bigger uproar. When we checked out in the morning the very young and sleepy seeming front desk staff did not ask about our stay. On a good note, we had a great dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Hermano's, right near the hotel. Food was terrific!”

“A fine little hotel with a fine location in a nice little New England town. Check-in was a breeze and staff were helpful. Rooms were large, quiet and comfortable. My only issue was that the double beds were not much bigger than a twin.”

• A little shabby but clean and friendly restaurant, good quality.
• Noisy teenage crowd not handled well.

“This is a fine mid-grade hotel in a great location. it needs a bit of paint and clean up, and it was hosting a crowd of noisy teens that were dispersed throughout the hotel. Sleep was impossible until after 11, and then they were up very early in the morning. I would return.”

• Easy walk to downtown Concord and convenient on/off the highway. Restaurant was pricey, but had great pizza.
• Pillows were small and uncomfortable- room had a sickening air-freshener smell upon entering- staff mistakenly knocked on our door twice.

“It was adequate accommodations for our short (one-night) stay as we passed through. I would be very disappointed if I had paid full price and expected a three-star hotel, but it was convenient and clean. Parking was scarce, however, and we had to park in a lot across the street.”

• The staff made me feel very welcome. Welcomed me back, etc.
• Nothing.

“As always, the Holiday Inn was excellent. I ordered room service and the Chicken BBQ pizza was excellent and arrived steaming. Beds were comfortable. Room had refrigerator. I did not hear my neighbors, which is a plus. Staff made me feel important. I miss the breakfast in the lobby, though. Before the restaurant opened they had the executive chef making pancakes in the lobby with a full hot breakfast. That was "above and beyond" what I would expect from a hotel with a restaurant that is temporarily closed.”

“A much improved hotel, we had stayed here a year ago. The staff was much more accommodating and friendly. The rooms have been upgraded. The pool and exercise room is clean and a nice size. Room furnishings were clean and decorated nicely.”

“We felt the room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Heat seemed to be a bit messed up as I woke at 3 Am sweating and had to crack the window. Room service was quick and food was very good. We will stay here again.”

• Though there was a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, etc. when I came down there were no more muffins or toast which is what I really wanted.

“My friend myself and my 2 boys loved this hotel. The pool was a definite plus. It was a 35 minute drive to Mount Sunapee and we all had a free breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.”

• Sheets, pool, whirlpool, location, excellent breakfast, staff, computer in lobby, restaurant book at front desk.
• It had snowed and people parked very crooked, some large trucks took up many spots.

“Front check in to check out we had a great stay. The room was very clean, shower was great! The sheets and comforters were heavenly. The pool area was lots of fun! The best surprise was the full breakfast of eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, Danish and all sorts of drinks! Wonderful, relaxing get away!”

• It's convenient for me.
• Problems with the bathrooms.

“The convenience is what makes this hotel a good choice for me. I travel to Concord frequently and just need someplace to stay overnight that is clean and quiet. Over the past two months I've stayed at this location 3 or 4 times and each time the bathroom has had some problem (tub won't empty, sink fixtures broken, shower turn off/on knob broken). It's also a bit noisy on the highway side. If I stay again I will request a room on the other side.”

“Hopefully will be a good choice in hotels when construction is complete. Was disappointed to have no restaurant/lounge available. Hopefully the plumbing problem I experienced was either construction or severe weather related.”

• The amenities were exactly what I wanted; pool, hot tub, sauna, wireless, and cable.
• They ran out of towels in the pool area. But then again when I called, they brought some right away.

• Restaurant disappointing for breakfast, poor service, barely adequate food.

“Excellent service, helpful and friendly staff, which was good because there was minimal signage to the restaurant and pool. Internet PC and printer available in lobby to customers. We had 2 of us staying in the room, plus 3 guests up for an hour and we were all very comfortable with plenty of seating (couch & chairs). Room had functional fridge and microwave. Good lighting and plenty of outlets for laptop, med equipment, and cell chargers. Good free coffee in lobby. Right at the edge of down town, within a block of shopping, history, and good food. A very pleasant surprise at a great price.”

• Good well informed staff about the local area. So many times staff cant tell you anything about the town but the staff here were exceptional!
• Slight odor in hallway near my room.

• Nice pool clean, good temperature, natural light.
• Beds were a punishment; food was the executioner.

“A holiday inn is what it is nobody is going there expecting glamour but a mattress shouldn't keep you wondering whether water boarding could be all that bad. The breakfast buffet (free for priority club members) was hideous. At first glance it looked okay, but the sausages weren't cooked, the potatoes were dirty, French toast could have been used as paving materials, etc. Even at zero cost, I wouldn't eat there again.”
