• Close to attractions.
• Some early morning construction noise. Room door did not automatically close.

“Exercise & pool facilities were nice & staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was fairly recently remodeled & public areas were clean. Beds were comfortable and parking was convenient & free. Wine store, restaurants, shops and Aquarium were within easy walking distance.”

• Location of the hotel is very convenient and the bed was very comfortable.
• Hotel access is limited making the parking a little inconvenient at certain times.

“Overall, my husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is within walking distance from nice shopping and restaurant options as well as to many of the other attractions of Mystic. It is convenient to the major highway without being visible from it.”

• Comfortable spacious room.
• Noise factor was high with construction going on in adjacent room. We could also hear children yelling from the pool area below us.

• Clean, very homely and convenient to Foxwoods and mystic pizza and the seaport.
• I called the hotel to call that we were stuck in traffic and out check in time would be affected; the woman who answered was a bit unaccommodating.

“It was a great hotel to stay overall and the price was not bad at all. Very clean and nice rooms. Ill definitely come back and also recommend it to my friends.”

• I liked the location; there was easy access on and off the highway.
• The Price was a little steep for a one night stay.

“The hotel was right off the highway and easy to get to. The rooms were spacious and very clean when we arrived. Didn't have any issues with noisy neighbors or loud ice machines. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to whoever is seeking an overnight stay in the area.”

• The location to the attractions we wanted to go to in Mystic, CT was excellent. The pool area was bright and clean. The hotel was attractive & clean.
• The in room movies was not working that weekend, which disappointed the kids.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the this hotel. We went to the aquarium next door and the hotel offered discount tickets which was nice. The hotel was bright and modern and the rooms were clean, spacious and attractive. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was clean and bright and very nice. We definitely enjoyed our stat at the Mystic Hilton!”

• No additional charge for in room wireless and it works!
• No complimentary coffee bar.

“Overall excellent! Cleanliness, comfort, staff, location are items I "expect" in a 3.5-4 star and this hotel met expectations. My two "pet peeves" in any quality hotel are: 1) In-room wireless access - must be fast! (2-3 mb minimum), must provide a quality connection in all rooms (even those at the end of the hall), and there must be no additional daily charge. Hotel met the standards on all counts. 2) Any quality hotel should have a complimentary, morning coffee bar, those foolish little pots in the room just don't cut it and charging for the coffee is just too petty to address, on this count they fell down. No coffee bar and even getting two cups to go in the restaurant was a hassle.”

• It has a small but nice pool and a small but good exercise room.

• The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
• They called at 6:00 am with a wake up call which we did not request.

“I liked everything about the hotel except for the fact that they called our room twice with a wake up call which we did not request, we just wanted some sleep. Other than that everything was clean, nice and the staff were friendly.”

• The couple we were with missed a day due to a snowstorm,cancelled the room but was still charged.

• The atmosphere of the room was nice, nice bedding and furniture.
• Could extend our check out because of a full house coming in. Didn't try to work with us.

“The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff was well dressed and polite. Room service was good, a little expensive, but it is room service and you're paying for that convenience. I just wish they worked a little harded at trying to extend out stay but right off the bat I was told no, we need ALL room at 11am. A little disappointed with that. Being a previous supervisor was a hotel I would always try and work with the guest. Other than that our stay was great.”

• The bed was the most comfortable one that I've slept in and I've done a lot of sleeping in a lot of beds.
• The plumbing traversing down the wall behind our bed provided us with acoustic reaffirmation that the toilet was still working in the room upstairs.

“We think we got our money's worth it was clean and new looks like all the construction renovation is done for now the bed was great! Cable TV very good minor complaints: the aforementioned plumbing seemingly routed directly behind the bed and the room heater with the energy conserving always on causing the fan to clank to a halt and bang every time it started waking us many times in the otherwise quiet night (hint to the Hilton people, please give us the choice on a switch to select continuous fan its minor white noise is preferable to the abrupt clank-to-silence) I would go here again. As we were leaving I noticed some cobwebs in a corner of the room wonder if I was in the same room that one of your written descriptions mentioned.”

• Clean, updated, and free wireless internet.
• No complaints!

“Excellent value - great location across the street from the Mystic Aquarium (and a Starbucks). Rooms are updated with duvets on the beds, and very clean. I thought it was a new hotel and was surprised to hear that it was 25 years old.”

• The room was awesome.
• Heating system odd.

“We were extremely please with the hotel and the room. It was huge and luxurious. The heating system was strange. If you had the heat on and then shut it down, the thermostat then reverted to a much cooler range cooling the room down immediately. Didn't seem to hold the heat. I would definitely recommend hotel to anyone.”

• The room was quite large and comfortable.
• The front desk was understaffed and not very friendly.

“In short, we liked the room and the location of the hotel. The front desk staff was not as friendly as we expected for a Hilton, but they were helpful. The restaurant was limited for breakfast, unless you wanted the buffet. It was also New Year's Eve and there was no special meal planned, just appetizers and music in the bar. We expected more.”

• Convenient to area attractions. Easy to get to. Nicely decorated and clean. Nice indoor pool area. Fast and friendly check in/out.

“Although my husband and I came here for a quick get away. We will definitely be back with the kids. The hotel is located near many family friendly attractions and has a nice heated indoor pool area that we will utilize with them. We will definitely be back! The staff was courteous and friendly and our room was spacious and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable!”

• Hotel was a mess due to construction, parking lot pitch black at night.

“Since this was a Hilton Hotel I was staying at, my expectations were on the high side. However, the experience was disappointing from the moment of check in. There were consumed room service plates and cups on the floor in front of our door. The room we were initially assigned reeked of smoke even though it was supposedly a smoke-free hotel. Not a great start. The front desk was "surprised" by the smell (of smoke in the room) and the dirty dishes outside the door. We were moved to another room in the back of the hotel which was very inconvenient due to the distance from the only elevator in the hotel. Also, along the way to this second room, there was wallpaper peeling from the wall and the floor moldings had been removed. This is not how a nice hotel should present itself! The restaurant was relocated to a ballroom because it was being renovated. Also, the parking lot was absolutely pitching black with no lights, which was kind of creepy.”

• The staff was courteous, the hotel was very clean.
• The restaurant and bar were under renovations and closed. I would have like to know this before hand.

“Because of the construction going on at the hotel, it did not fully meet my needs. No restaurant or bar in house was pleasing. The rooms were noisy from the adjacent rooms and hallway. The staff was courteous and helpful; the entire facility was very clean. The indoor pool was a bit cold.”

• Suppose to be free shuttle but no driver on duty that night.

“One of the nicer properties within miles. Nice location and room. Room service food was good but delivered late. They refunded the charges due to the late delivery. They advertise a free shuttle to town but there was no driver on duty that night. Overall, a nice place and would stay there again.”

• The beds and linens were very comfortable, certainly high quality.
• Hotel grounds were under intense ongoing renovations. There was only one entry door.

“The beds and linens were very nice, slept extremely comfortable. We were placed in a room that had adjoining doors, and could easily hear our neighbor's television, and surely they felt the same. No refrigerator, but they provided one very promptly at $5 a night, however it was somewhat banged up and unclean. Key cards did not work properly, and room was all the way at the end of the hall, and could only be accessed from the main entry, which provided us with quite a haul back and forth to the car. The staff was very helpful, and this is certainly a wonderful choice for a business and conference hotel, as well as a family friendly place.”

• Nice clean room - convenient to all.
• Mattress way too soft! Woke up at 5am with back ache.

“This is a beautiful hotel - unfortunately the pool was not open because they had rented it out to a private party. It was a rainy weekend and there was not anything else to do. The people who rented it did not even use the pool just had the deck set up with dinner tables - very nice but they did not need the pool and should not have been allowed to inconvenience all the guests. This made us very unhappy and we weren't the only ones!”
