• No hot tub at the pool.

“Beautiful hotel located very easily off the interstate highway. Close to many local attractions. Rooms were very nice and clean. There was construction at the time of our stay, but it did not hinder our visit.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Pool was small but nice and staff the was great. I just wished there was a continental breakfast and more then just the small coffee pots in the room. Coffee in the room just don't cut it. Especially with warm liquid creamer that who knows how long it was in the room.”

• The room and location met expectations.
• The hotel dinner restaurant is only open Fri and Sat.

“We enjoyed the room as it was good size and very clean, but we were looking forward to eating dinner at the restaurant and it was only open Fri and Sat. The TV remote did not function well and we did not know what was on what channel. I can't really tell you much about the staff as we checked in at the desk and then checked out at the desk. There was a bell boy at the revolving door just standing there and basically doing nothing and saying nothing - not that we needed him to help us. Clean room and good location and I would recommend to others.”

“I was traveling with a handicapped person. When I checked into the hotel, the representative informed me there were no available rooms with two beds. We had to take a room with a king-size bed which was not conducive to our needs. Also, the sheets had hair and stains on them. The hotel did take care of this as soon as they were informed.”

• Conveniently located directly across the street from aquarium and away from main road. Very little noise.
• Nothing.

“Spacious clean room well located in middle of all attractions in area. Was able to leave vehicle parked in hotel lot and walk across street to aquarium. All major restaurants were located within walking distance (quarter mile or less) from hotel. Great for the gas budget.”

• Hotel engineer extremely responsive to technical inquiry.
• Wireless didn't work in our room.

“This hotel exceeded our expectations. I would hope to stay here in the future. Hopefully, they'll update their wireless internet then, it will be a perfect place to stay on business.”

• The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
• It's too easy to accidentally order a movie.

“Very nice and great location to I-95 Mystic village and the seaport. The bedding was very comfortable and the complimentary toiletries make your skin very soft.”

• The hotel beds and pillows are the most comfortable in the world.
• The hotel had a pool, but otherwise, was not very child friendly.

“This hotel is lovely! The beds and so comfortable and the room was very clean (except for a small piece of candy under the dresser that my daughter found). It was a long walk to the pool, but the kids loved it. Not a whole lot of stuff for little kids to do (inside the hotel), but the aquarium and stores are right across the street (within walking distance). Overall, this hotel is great!”

• I liked the location and the friendly staff.
• Room too far away from elevator and carpet was very stained.

“We loved the midweek price, weather and location of this Hilton. They did honor our request for a room with 2 beds. The room was clean but the carpet was very stained. We brought our bikes into the our 3rd floor room at night and from the elevator we rode them (literally) through several winding hallways to reach our room.”

• Called to request extra towels, had to leave voice mail message for housekeeping. Towels were never delivered had to get from maid next day.

“Typical hotel room, clean but nothing special. Not enough towels provided, called for more to housekeeping but no one to answer phone left room number and message as instructed but no one ever came to delivered towels requested. Soaps and shampoos were not replenished during three day stay. Great location, very convenient. Would only rate this hotel at 2.5 at best not your typical Hilton expectation.”

• The hotel is big, they had room way in the back. Makes for a long walk. Also the did not give me the free USA paper.

“This hotel is neat and clean. The staff is helpful. It is near everything and it close to the casino (25 minute drive. They did put us in the back rooms which makes for a long walk after you've been out sight seeing all day. Also a long walk to the ice and soda machines. The other thing is no free breakfast. But overall I would recommend staying here.”

• Too much chlorine in the poor. It burned my eyes without going under water.

“Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms. There is free wireless access apparently but didn't try that out. Had to pay the minimum charge of $3 just to access the internet in the business center though. The location is good, right next to the aquarium and near the Downtown area.”

• Room nice, great bed, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries.
• Lobby area was not as nice as room, but it was clean.

“We stayed here for a night after taking the kids to summer camp. It is more a family destination (right across from the aquarium) than a "romantic getaway" but the room was very nicely appointed and the location is great - we checked out Mohegan Sun and had a great dinner in charming downtown Mystic. I loved the Crabtree & Evelyn Lesource toiletries - smelled like the beach! There is a Starbucks right next door, in the room coffeemaker shot glasses aren't enough caffeine for you!”

“Exercise & pool facilities were nice & staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was fairly recently remodeled & public areas were clean. Beds were comfortable and parking was convenient & free. Wine store, restaurants, shops and Aquarium were within easy walking distance.”

• Location of the hotel is very convenient and the bed was very comfortable.
• Hotel access is limited making the parking a little inconvenient at certain times.

“Overall, my husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is within walking distance from nice shopping and restaurant options as well as to many of the other attractions of Mystic. It is convenient to the major highway without being visible from it.”

• Newly renovated, very clean and comfortable.
• I was charged to use the computer and the computer did not work.

• Comfortable spacious room.
• Noise factor was high with construction going on in adjacent room. We could also hear children yelling from the pool area below us.

• Clean, very homely and convenient to Foxwoods and mystic pizza and the seaport.
• I called the hotel to call that we were stuck in traffic and out check in time would be affected; the woman who answered was a bit unaccommodating.

“It was a great hotel to stay overall and the price was not bad at all. Very clean and nice rooms. Ill definitely come back and also recommend it to my friends.”

• I liked the location; there was easy access on and off the highway.
• The Price was a little steep for a one night stay.

“The hotel was right off the highway and easy to get to. The rooms were spacious and very clean when we arrived. Didn't have any issues with noisy neighbors or loud ice machines. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to whoever is seeking an overnight stay in the area.”

• The location to the attractions we wanted to go to in Mystic, CT was excellent. The pool area was bright and clean. The hotel was attractive & clean.
• The in room movies was not working that weekend, which disappointed the kids.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the this hotel. We went to the aquarium next door and the hotel offered discount tickets which was nice. The hotel was bright and modern and the rooms were clean, spacious and attractive. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was clean and bright and very nice. We definitely enjoyed our stat at the Mystic Hilton!”

• No additional charge for in room wireless and it works!
• No complimentary coffee bar.

“Overall excellent! Cleanliness, comfort, staff, location are items I "expect" in a 3.5-4 star and this hotel met expectations. My two "pet peeves" in any quality hotel are: 1) In-room wireless access - must be fast! (2-3 mb minimum), must provide a quality connection in all rooms (even those at the end of the hall), and there must be no additional daily charge. Hotel met the standards on all counts. 2) Any quality hotel should have a complimentary, morning coffee bar, those foolish little pots in the room just don't cut it and charging for the coffee is just too petty to address, on this count they fell down. No coffee bar and even getting two cups to go in the restaurant was a hassle.”

• They called at 6:00 am with a wake up call which we did not request.

“I liked everything about the hotel except for the fact that they called our room twice with a wake up call which we did not request, we just wanted some sleep. Other than that everything was clean, nice and the staff were friendly.”

• The couple we were with missed a day due to a snowstorm,cancelled the room but was still charged.

• The atmosphere of the room was nice, nice bedding and furniture.
• Could extend our check out because of a full house coming in. Didn't try to work with us.

“The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff was well dressed and polite. Room service was good, a little expensive, but it is room service and you're paying for that convenience. I just wish they worked a little harded at trying to extend out stay but right off the bat I was told no, we need ALL room at 11am. A little disappointed with that. Being a previous supervisor was a hotel I would always try and work with the guest. Other than that our stay was great.”

• The bed was the most comfortable one that I've slept in and I've done a lot of sleeping in a lot of beds.
• The plumbing traversing down the wall behind our bed provided us with acoustic reaffirmation that the toilet was still working in the room upstairs.

“We think we got our money's worth it was clean and new looks like all the construction renovation is done for now the bed was great! Cable TV very good minor complaints: the aforementioned plumbing seemingly routed directly behind the bed and the room heater with the energy conserving always on causing the fan to clank to a halt and bang every time it started waking us many times in the otherwise quiet night (hint to the Hilton people, please give us the choice on a switch to select continuous fan its minor white noise is preferable to the abrupt clank-to-silence) I would go here again. As we were leaving I noticed some cobwebs in a corner of the room wonder if I was in the same room that one of your written descriptions mentioned.”

• No complaints!

“Excellent value - great location across the street from the Mystic Aquarium (and a Starbucks). Rooms are updated with duvets on the beds, and very clean. I thought it was a new hotel and was surprised to hear that it was 25 years old.”

• Heating system odd.

“We were extremely please with the hotel and the room. It was huge and luxurious. The heating system was strange. If you had the heat on and then shut it down, the thermostat then reverted to a much cooler range cooling the room down immediately. Didn't seem to hold the heat. I would definitely recommend hotel to anyone.”

• The front desk was understaffed and not very friendly.

“In short, we liked the room and the location of the hotel. The front desk staff was not as friendly as we expected for a Hilton, but they were helpful. The restaurant was limited for breakfast, unless you wanted the buffet. It was also New Year's Eve and there was no special meal planned, just appetizers and music in the bar. We expected more.”

• Convenient to area attractions. Easy to get to. Nicely decorated and clean. Nice indoor pool area. Fast and friendly check in/out.

“Although my husband and I came here for a quick get away. We will definitely be back with the kids. The hotel is located near many family friendly attractions and has a nice heated indoor pool area that we will utilize with them. We will definitely be back! The staff was courteous and friendly and our room was spacious and clean and the king size bed was very comfortable!”
