• The location was perfect -across from the Shoppes at Mystic and 2 minutes from the Aquarium.
• The bed was like sleeping on a rock and the room was very small.

“The location was perfect to the shopping and the aquarium and about 20 minutes from Mehegan Sun. However, the bed was so hard that we did not sleep at all. We were supposed to stay two nights but left a day early in fear of having to sleep there again.”

• The room had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Indoor pool. Convenient to highway, directions to locations, staff was friendly.
• It was school vacation week. A lot of children at pool. Parking scarce one night.

• The hotel staff was very nice to us.
• Our non smoking room reeked of smoke.

“I complained about the non smoking room reeking of smoke and the staff immediately moved us without hesitation to another room and then checked back with us twice to see if we were satisfied.”

• Location was great, Very friendly staff.
• The restaurant was closed (under construction) They have no pool.

• Convenient location.
• Not quiet.

“The hotel was convenient since it is near Foxwoods and Mystic center and accessible to 95. The room was loud due to highway traffic and loud patrons next door. Could hear everything.”

“Room had a strange odor, beds very uncomfortable. Little hot water for shower, even at 6 AM! Other patrons were very loud, we called to complain but nothing was done. Do not stay here!”

• Convenient location near many attractions and restaurants.
• Dingy rooms with flat pillows and very thin walls very noisy.

“You get what you pay for. Room is ok for a 1 night stay no more than that. Walls are paper thin (as are the pillows bring your own!). You hear other conversations and every little noise from in or outside the hotel. Rooms are dingy, and good for two people maximum. Pros include excellent location in mystic, within walking distance to attractions and restaurants. Would prefer to stay at a nicer place next time.”

• The sincerely friendly and helpful staff.
• Hallways and entrances and b to rooms (not reception area) were depressing.

“Although I was greeted by what seemed to be mass confusion behind the desk (one worker was talking about opening a door on an occupied room she thought was unoccupied, another worker was trying to figure out rooms needing to be cleaned opposed to already cleaned rooms, and my own room was not yet ready - it was 2:55 p.m. and I had to wait until 4:00 p.m.), the downright niceness of the young women at the desk diffused any ill will I may have been harboring. My request for a quiet, second floor, smoke free room was fulfilled graciously. Lots of hot water in the bath and a complimentary newspaper. Card swipe security at major entrances. The indoor pool is clean and bright. A good place for a quick one night stay, moving on the next morning. Located conveniently off the interstate.”

• Very close to the attractions we wanted to see.
• The room was very smelly even for a smokers room, it smells of 20- year-old smoke

“Location spot is great, but I recommend even for smokers to ask for non-smoking room.”

• That it was in mystic.
• It was old and it felt like a motel.

“This hotel is a low budget hotel. Even though it was very clean the rooms were small and outdated. It didn¿t feel like a hotel, but a cheap motel.”

• My kids loved the indoor pool-we actually had it all to ourselves for a brief time.
• Although we requested non-smoking room when we arrived we were in a smoking room. The staff were able to relocate us to a non -smoking room.

“Very convenient to the aquarium at Mystic. Easy on and off the highway which was perfect for us because we were really on way to Cape Cod for a week's stay.”

• Great location and easy access.
• Not very good housekeeping and tip for maid taken by someone.

“Great location; great pool; friendly staff but $6 tip left for housekeeping staff was stolen (by another housekeeper I think, who knew we had left a $5 tip the day before). The maid service wasn't very good, was late every day and we had a pizza crust and jujubes under one bed that were never picked up though they were not from us but from a previous guest.”
