• The room was very large and included a separate living room. The flat panel TV was nice.

• Great location, nice pool and fitness room, free continental breakfast, nice flat screen TV.

“Clean, newish hotel in great location, near beaches and great restaurants. Large rooms with seating area and convertible queen beds. Large flat screen TV. Wet bars and mini refrigerators.”

• Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful, and well-stocked room. Great breakfast for free.
• Being on the ground floor was a little loud in the am, but I asked for a ground floor room.

“This is a fabulous hotel for those with children, and business travelers. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and breakfast was delicious. They have a small bar, so drinks can be ordered till 11. The rooms were spacious, and very attractively decorated. I travel extensively for business, and leisure, so this was a very pleasant surprise after a long work day.”

• Bathroom dark, add non-dairy creamer or lactic to breakfast spread for lactose intolerant guests.

• The hotel was very comfortable.
• Shower/toilet area was small.

“Great hotel for the price. Close to Foxwoods and other area attractions. The set up of the room was great. I loved the seperation of the sitting area and sleeping arrangements. There was plenty of room if you were travelling with a small family. The continental breakfast was great too.”

• Breakfast was a little crowded.

“Upon our arrival at the Hyatt Place, which was beautiful. The front desk person informed us that they did not have a room for us due to some problem. They did arrange for us to stay in a Hampton Inn about a half-mile away. It was nice and they told us we were not to be charged for the room.”

• Spacious rooms. Heated pool. Convenient to the Mystic activities. Good restaurants nearby.
• Breakfast was a bit weak.. Bathrooms are a bit tight.

“Good hotel. Spacious rooms with a pull out bed in addition to two beds. Local restaurants are good. Friendly across the street is lousy.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back to that hotel again in the future. Service was great. We love that there was a little wall between the couch and the king bed. We felt like we had a little privacy from the children this way. Staff was excellent!”

• Each room has a large sitting area with a comfortable sofa and wet bar. Huge television that pivots so it's viewable from either bedroom or sitting area.
• Although we left towels on the floor as directed by card, they were not exchanged between our first and second nights of stay.

“Large room with separate sitting area. Really comfortable, and you never get the feeling of, I need to get out of here for some space. Great television. Walking distance to shopping and a few quality restaurants/bars.”

“This is an awesome hotel. Clean rooms, great location off I95, down the road form Mystic Aquarium, 10 minutes to Foxwoods Casino. Hotel is new, has a smart panel for the 42" flat screen TV - can plug in computer (wifi available), video games system for the kids.”

• Very modern layout the decor was also very good.
• We enjoyed this hotel completely.

“Upon entering the lobby the atmosphere of the hotel is that of a very hip upscale lounge. The decor is modern and great. The rooms with the swivel plasma was a pleasant surprise overall my wife and I will certainly go back very soon.”

• Everyone was so friendly and the room was cool and modern.
• The breakfast was lacking more options.

“I stayed at a 3-star hotel the night after this one, and it paled in comparison to the Hyatt. We were treated well at the Hyatt from the moment we stepped in the door, and the room was spacious, clean and neatly decorated. I wished I had booked it for two nights instead of one. The only complaint I came up with was that the continental breakfast could have been more elaborate.”

“My husband and I were visiting Mystic, CT for his 30th birthday. We had to change rooms at 11:30pm because the sheets were not clean. They were full of hair. We did not let this ruin our stay.”

• You could hear noise outside of the room door, not well insulated for sound.

“The hotel is located right off the hwy; it was clean, spacious, lovely setting near Downtown mystic with great site seeing and restaurants. Hats off to S&B oyster house in Downtown Mystic.”

• The bathroom sink is in the bedroom not in the bathroom! One needs to turn on the large overhead light to use the very loud sink.
