• Super fantastic staff.
• Better breakfast choices.

“I found that the people in this hotel were so helpful it was just wonderful. I would recommend this hotel; it is very convenient the rooms are clean and comfortable. I was able to get a room with a microwave and a fridge which was great since I was there for almost a week. ”

• Breakfast items just okay.

“No-frills accommodations. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee in room. Free wi-fi access. Free breakfast including waffles, fruit (poor quality).”

• Easy to find, breakfast had hot choice.
• Said "Shuttle", as if free, but not.

“Took shuttle to MS Casino. Omitted to say the ride would take 1 hour due to 6 pick-ups. Included meal, did not advise that there were 2 buffets, one good, one poor quality. We ended up in poor quality restaurant. Sign stated "Shuttle". Did not say 12 dollars per person charge, expected free transport to casino. We would have taken own car if we knew of long drive.”

• Location was good..... complimentary breakfast was good....... housekeeping staff was friendly and excellent.
• Pool was not available to use..... front desk staff was not adequately informed of current information.

“Location was great... hotel is an old structure that has not been physically updated. The pool was not available for use.”

• Lowest cost and good location.
• Bed was not comfortable and the toilet leaked. The view from our window overlooked the pool which had green water in it.

“This hotel is conveniently located in Mystic CT near I95, the seaport and the aquarium. If you are looking for just a little more than basic accommodations. At a reasonably price, this hotel will meet your needs.”

• Room had a strong smell of mold rug felt damp.

• Clean, good location, short drive to casinos, walking distance to downtown mystic (1.5 mile).
• Continental breakfast left something to be desired.

“A bit pricey for what you get (could be that it was memorial day weekend). Room is basic bed, fridge, TV etc. Did have wireless Internet if needed. I would recommend stay for frugal traveler.”

• Location, very friendly staff and well within my idea of on the money.
• The drapes to close the windows were broken. one person come up to fix it. Was unable to do so. Said they would send up a maintenance man, but did not.

• Nice, spacious room.
• No wireless internet.

“An easy to find place just off the highway. There are a lot of restraunts right in the immediate area. A great place to stop if you want a nice clean room. In today's age, I was hoping for wireless internet (which is quickly becoming a standard), but for the amount I paid I am more than satisfied with my room.”

• Could use a bit or renovation to the lobby - common areas.

“It was a very nice room, the free full breakfast was an added plus. Good place for kids. Close to all attractions in the mystic seaport area.”

• I liked the location to Mystic and the interstate.
• Would like to see a bigger breakfast selection.

“This hotel is located near Mystic, CT which made it very accessible to the local tourist areas. Also, the hotel was located within easy driving distance of the local casinos. I would definateley stay at this hotel again.”

• The hotel is very close to major attractions.
• No free high speed internet.

“The location of this hotel is very good. Just off the interstate, very close to major attractions such as Mystic Seaport Museum, downtown, etc. If you want to go to the casinos, you can buy a ticket at the front desk for $10.00 plus tax. The bus is not operated by the hotel. I went to Foxwoods Casino and this $10.00, plus ticket includes two $10.00 Keno vouchers and one $10.00 meal/free buffet voucher. As the dinner buffet costs around $14.00, this is a pretty good deal. One drawback is there is no free high speed internet service.”

• Extremely clean. Convenient location. Great breakfast. Quiet location. Beautiful grounds.

“The hotel has beautiful landscaping in a quiet location. It is very close to downtown Mystic and its restaurants and shopping locations. Also very close to highway entrance. The breakfast was great with make your own fresh waffles, all kinds of pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, and fresh fruit. They provide a USA Today newspaper and coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Hotel is clean, comfortable and very close to the action at Fox woods. Hotel also has a shuttle service to the casino. Mystic village is a short drive away, you will find the Mystic aquarium there. Overall a good place to stay, and mostly a terrific value.”

“I was most pleased with my reservations. I called the motel direct in order to make arrangements for the handicapped person traveling with me. The young gal at the desk was very helpful and upon arrival met me and showed me the room she had selected. She made sure we had wheelchair access and close to everything.”

“My only complaint was that the room was a non-smoking room, but it did NOT smell as if it were a non-smoking room. If it was a smoking room at one time then they need to re-do their rooms because they still smell like smoking rooms.”

“Prior to arrival a phone call to a courteous staff resulted in a confirmation # for a requested 2bed, non-smoking room. When we arrived we inquired about a micro/fridge, after receiving a print-out of directions to area attractions/stores, we headed out for a quick look, by the time we returned the appliances were set up and ready! Staff was wonderful, rooms clean, and best of all right next to EVERYTHING!”

“The Days Inn was better then most Days Inn I've stayed at. The room was clean and roomy- I didn't feel cramped at all. I thought it was wonderful.”

“Excellent location, large room. The only problem was that we had a smoking room, which normally is not a problem for us--but the ventilation was so poor that the room literally stank of stale smoke and we had to burn incense to cover the smell.”
