• Rooms were fairly clean.
• Terrible service.

“The hotel itself wasn't bad but the customer service was horrible. I have been waiting three months for my receipt and have yet to receive it. I called them four times and still nothing. When I called back to complain the manager he cared less. I would never stay with there again.”

“I would not use this hotel again. The room was very small. The bathroom was so small, this sink did not even fit in it. It had to be in the room. We needed a rollaway bed because we have an older son and daughter who don't care to sleep together. Understandable. The beds were so small that half way through the night my son slept on the floor because both, he and his dad didn't fit on the bed.”

“On first day we wished to sleep in, mail knocked at 9 am waking us up to clean the room as we were there for 3 days. I asked her to come later and she never did.”

• How the towels were folded with a flair, an extra touch.
• The reviews I read, stated how good the continental breakfast, nothing spectacular.

“Overall this hotel was very nice, the room was cleaner than I thought it was going to be, plenty of pillows and towels. Their was minimal noise but we are traveling in the winter, so I'm not sure if that would apply all the time. The only thing that was truly bothersome was the price of movies to rent and the television was in serious need of replacement. Most were are all minor cosmetic issues.”

“Employees were absolutely unfriendly, unknowledgeable; Customers were an interruption to their personal chit chat. Turned backs on customers, had to slam the desk to get attention. Would never ever recommend this hotel. Rooms didn't have TV channel list. Had to get at desk, was given with surly attitude. Asked young man what he was going to do about wrong directions to room, etc. He just stood there blankly staring into space. Made no effort to apologize for our inconvenience. Girls (all 3 of them) were absolutely clueless about customer service or courtesy.”

• Location, value.
• Carpets were dirty. Our socks were filthy after walking around. Room smelled like musty.

“Our first room was fine except that the television did not work. We were moved to the room next door and immediately noticed a musty and/or perhaps industrial strength cleaner smell. May be they used something to try and cover up cigarette odor? I turned on the AC in hopes of the smell going away. The smell wasn't as bad as when I looked at my socks after walking around for a little while. They were filthy! The floor seemed really damp and unclean. We had to wear our shoes around the room.”

• I like the location and convenience of this hotel.
• The TV blew up and one of the treadmills in the room didn't work.

“I was not happy when I saw smoke coming out of the TV. Also we wanted to use the 2 treadmills and one was out of service. We received a $20 discount for the TV.”

• WiFi connection was very poor.

“Overall, the stay was OK. AC wasn't as good as it could have been and mattresses weren't very comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. The continental breakfast was good.”

• Traveled in a snow storm, parking lot was already plowed when we arrived.
• Only shuttled to one casino for substantial fee.

“All in all, our stay was pleasant. It was a last minute decision to go gamble for the weekend, and the Day's Inn provided a convenient location between both Mohegan Sun and Fox woods. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and neat, and we were comfortable all weekend. I'd do it again!”

“This was very close to the aquarium and mystic seaport. The staff recommended a good restaurant that we enjoyed very much. The room was clean, but the towels were skimpy and the air held a distinct musty smell.”

• It was where we wanted to be, saw allot of sights.
• Carpet in room was dirty, breakfast should be served later (we are on van. Too early to wake up) longer pool hrs.

“I found that the people in this hotel were so helpful it was just wonderful. I would recommend this hotel; it is very convenient the rooms are clean and comfortable. I was able to get a room with a microwave and a fridge which was great since I was there for almost a week. ”

• Easy to find, breakfast had hot choice.
• Said "Shuttle", as if free, but not.

“Took shuttle to MS Casino. Omitted to say the ride would take 1 hour due to 6 pick-ups. Included meal, did not advise that there were 2 buffets, one good, one poor quality. We ended up in poor quality restaurant. Sign stated "Shuttle". Did not say 12 dollars per person charge, expected free transport to casino. We would have taken own car if we knew of long drive.”

• Pool was not available to use..... front desk staff was not adequately informed of current information.

• Lowest cost and good location.
• Bed was not comfortable and the toilet leaked. The view from our window overlooked the pool which had green water in it.

“This hotel is conveniently located in Mystic CT near I95, the seaport and the aquarium. If you are looking for just a little more than basic accommodations. At a reasonably price, this hotel will meet your needs.”

• Clean, good location, short drive to casinos, walking distance to downtown mystic (1.5 mile).
• Continental breakfast left something to be desired.

“A bit pricey for what you get (could be that it was memorial day weekend). Room is basic bed, fridge, TV etc. Did have wireless Internet if needed. I would recommend stay for frugal traveler.”

• The drapes to close the windows were broken. one person come up to fix it. Was unable to do so. Said they would send up a maintenance man, but did not.

“An easy to find place just off the highway. There are a lot of restraunts right in the immediate area. A great place to stop if you want a nice clean room. • The hotel is very close to major attractions.
• No free high speed internet.

“The location of this hotel is very good. Just off the interstate, very close to major attractions such as Mystic Seaport Museum, downtown, etc. If you want to go to the casinos, you can buy a ticket at the front desk for $10.00 plus tax. The bus is not operated by the hotel. I went to Foxwoods Casino and this $10.00, plus ticket includes two $10.00 Keno vouchers and one $10.00 meal/free buffet voucher. As the dinner buffet costs around $14.00, this is a pretty good deal. One drawback is there is no free high speed internet service.”

• Extremely clean. Convenient location. Great breakfast. Quiet location. Beautiful grounds.

“The hotel has beautiful landscaping in a quiet location. It is very close to downtown Mystic and its restaurants and shopping locations. Also very close to highway entrance. The breakfast was great with make your own fresh waffles, all kinds of pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, and fresh fruit. They provide a USA Today newspaper and coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Hotel is clean, comfortable and very close to the action at Fox woods. Hotel also has a shuttle service to the casino. Mystic village is a short drive away, you will find the Mystic aquarium there. Overall a good place to stay, and mostly a terrific value.”

“I was most pleased with my reservations. I called the motel direct in order to make arrangements for the handicapped person traveling with me. The young gal at the desk was very helpful and upon arrival met me and showed me the room she had selected. She made sure we had wheelchair access and close to everything.”

“My only complaint was that the room was a non-smoking room, but it did NOT smell as if it were a non-smoking room. If it was a smoking room at one time then they need to re-do their rooms because they still smell like smoking rooms.”
