- The toilet flushing mechanism needs replacing; the heating system blower was loud and the air temp was inconsistent.

“Decided to have the breakfast buffet. All the contents were cold, cold eggs, cold bacon, cold pancakes. I mentioned to chef / staff that it was cold and he just shrugged. I've stayed at other Sheraton hotels and have had a much better experience in the restaurant.”

- The open triangle style layout of the hotel was attractive.
- The rooms were a bit shabby.
“The desk clerks gave us the wrong opening time for an amusement park we came to visit. The TV stand in the room had broken doors, the walls have buckling sheetrock, the carpet was wet by the window, and the maid service didn't give us any washcloths on our second day there. Room service stops at around 10 p.m. (11 p.m.?) But the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the hotel breakfast buffet was $12.95 each including drinks, and it was pretty good. The hotel bar was decent and the food was better than expected. We would stay here again.”

- The lobby and public areas were very attractive.
- The bathroom was skuzzy and the room furniture worn.
“We had stayed here before and we had a beautiful clean room. This time we were told there were no smoking rooms available even though it was a Friday night and they were not busy. Told that only a handicapped accessible room was available in non-smoking. We took it and the stuffing was coming out of the chair, paint peeling off furniture, and the bathroom was so skuzzy we didn't even take a shower.”

- I thought all the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
- The parking was confusing. I didn't mind paying for parking but we parked in the wrong garage and got a parking ticket.
“The Sheraton was great. The location was great, staff was friendly and the room was very nice, comfortable and clean. We ate at the MVP Sports Pub which was very good and we had the Breakfast Buffet the next morning at the Grille and that was very good as well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.”

- Great sports facility-racquetball courts, pool, cold and hot tubs, steam room, dry cedar room and more.
- Rooms are aged but the beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows.

- A bit classy. Convenient, friendly.
- Not all rooms were consistently upgraded.
“The room I stayed in on the 9th floor was very nicely decorated with nice wallpaper, fixtures, furniture, etc. The 2nd room on the 8th floor looked like a Holiday Inn. 2 totally different room qualities for the same room. I would love to stay again in my room on the 9th floor. However, if I had to stay at my room on the 8th floor, I would look into a different hotel.”

- The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. It had an amazing view of the river.
- Traffic noise all night long! To be expected I guess in a city!

- Spectacular view of the Memorial Bridge over the Connecticut River.
- I wanted a non smoking room and I could smell smoke from the previous customer when I entered the room.
“This hotel was very convenient to get to Six Flags and also the Holyoke Mall (the largest mall in New England). The neighborhood is rundown and I wouldn't recommend walking around too much. But there is no need to leave the hotel. The pool and the whirlpools were very nice and there was a health club with tvs for anyone who wished to workout, complete with locker rooms with showers and private spa rooms. I enjoyed the deck just outside the door of the pool area overlooking the beautiful tower next door with the illuminated clock. (Very beautiful to look at in the evening.)”

- Updated accommodations since our last stay and cleaner.
- Not safe to walk around after 6:00 PM.
“Great accommodations but the area is not safe after 6:00 PM according to a local merchant. We were looking for a particular store and he said it was just three blocks away but we'd better make it quick. The store's wine selection was behind bullet proof glass and there were several homeless people in the nearby alley. Our stay at the hotel itself though felt safe enough.”

- One of the hot tubs was bubbling cold water.
“The beds were so comfortable. You will love them. If you order room service and they are 30 minutes or later, your food is free supposedly. They changed the ticket order time on by 13 minutes so that they would not have to give the meal away cheap skates. I suggest that Sheraton remove "30 minutes or complimentary" from the in-room service menu. Otherwise, the stay was great!”

“Overall this is a good hotel. But being alone as a woman traveler, I did not like the dark, not well light garage, though the parking was free. Rooms are in need of updating along with internet setups. It takes 2 elevators to get to the garage instead of one. That is inconvenient. I prefer the Marriot right across the street as a woman traveler alone. Feel more safe.”

- Very clean rooms and helpful staff. all rooms were on the same floor.
- Coffee machine did not work but it was replaced on spot.
“It is located in the heart of business district so it is convenient. rooms are clean and decor is pleasing. hotel staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.”

- Beautiful rooms and centrally located
- View of the hotel room
“This hotel is centally located within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Great pool/sauna and workout facility that is also used by local residents. I would definitely return again!”

- You had to pay for wireless!

- Best 3 star I have ever stayed at. should have been rated 4*.
“A first class hotel all the way. it had a Grand ballroom, sports bar, restaurant, friendly staff, largest fitness center I've ever seen at a hotel, there was a skywalk leading over the street to a small shopping mall. Everything was top notch, they even placed us in the executive level on the 10 floor.”
