• We have stayed here before and we could tell that they have worked to improve things.

“Great hotel for the price. We have stayed here a few times...they have made many improvements since our last stay. Pool was warm and clean. Work out area clean. As always, the staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.”

• The highlight of my stay was the day I checked out!
• Filthy hotel!

“The worst Sheraton I have ever stayed at and I would never return. Filthy hotel, horrible food, soft beds, slow service in the restaurant, the front desk tried to charge me a $250 cleaning fee accusing me of smoking in my room, (it was later confirmed the smell came from the ventilator in the bathroom.) I don't smoke and never have. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Very disappointing stay I would not recommend this hotel, it is on the same level as Holiday Inn and should have no more than 2.5 stars.”

“Ordered a one bed on the room, they put us on a two bed in the beginning. Cum on the curtains, not acceptable, snot on the wall. And then we go back to move our stuff, room supposedly cleaned, still dirty, the things we complained about! Horrific!”

• The parking lot is not safe.

“The parking area is not safe. My auto was broke into. I also found glass in the parking lot from another car that was probably broke into. The lighting is not very bright. Security is not a priority. I would not stay in any of their hotels.”

• I liked the services and the people. They drove us right to where we were going and back to the hotel.
• The work out room was way too hot.

“This hotel is a great place to go and to relax. It has a few machines, bike treadmill and weights. It also has a nice pool. The staff was great friendly and helpful.”

• It was a great experience - staff, room, location - which makes it desireable.
• WIsh the indoor pool would have stayed open past 10:00 PM.

“We were very happy with our stay. The staff was very nice and helpful to us. The hotel is clean and has been kept up to date. The fitness center had several fairly new fitness machines - better than average. Our room was large and comfortable.”

• Conveniently located to the highway, desk staff friendly, restaurant staff accommodating.
• We had no complaints.

• Friendly staff, nice size rooms, quiet, good value.
• Small bathrooms, no mini-fridge (might have been available if asked).

“This was my first stay at a Sheraton Hotel, and I have stayed at plenty of Marriott’s and I hate to admit, the quality is better at Marriott. It's not that this hotel wasn't nice; the room was a good size, clean and quiet. The bathroom was crazy small. However, those little things would not deter me from staying again. The front desk women were very eager to please and helpful.”

• All staffs were polite, helpful & friendly.
• Room service meals.

“Restaurant lacked sufficient help. Salad, soup and dinner served at once 45 minutes after order taken. Room service menu for breakfast states with all selections you get coffee & juice. But two people from kitchen & front desk state that you don't receive this if you order from grille, ex French toast. Not stated well in room menus. It is easier to go to dunking donuts, I know I will get what I ordered.”

• Clean, great staff, tucked away yet close to downtown, will definitely go back!
• Hard to find.

“I had a great 5 day stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room and public areas are very clean, and the location is convenient but tucked away. This was my second stay and found the pleasant experience to be the same both times. I highly recommend the Sheraton in East Hartford.”

• Nice appearance to hotel room - clean and functional.
• Water faucet control on sink was broken - gave only cold or VERY hot.

“When the problem was pointed out to the front desk, the hotel employee appeared concerned and said it would be addressed right away. Front desk staff focused on being effective without keeping guests waiting too long.”

• Extremely clean and close to major highways within 3 minutes.
• City of Hartford recently has been unsafe, however hotel is far enough from city.

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a minute from I91, I84 and also route 44, route 2 and other major roads in CT. It is about 20 minutes from Bradley Airport. Beds are very comfortable and they have a business center. The fitness center just got new equipment too.”

• Bar closes too early :) Also, they charge for Internet.

“The hotel was nice, but was not in the best section of town. There were about 20 or so GPS thefts in the last 2 weeks in the parking lot. Friends of ours had their car windows broken and their GPS stolen.”

“Overall this is an excellent hotel. It is located a little further from restaurants and shopping than I like, but that wasn't a big problem. The location was not near a high traffic area so it was quiet, which wasn't nice.”

• No roll-away bed allowed with 2xdouble bed rooms.

“Accommodations were nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Full service restaurant off lobby - plays jazz (nice). Must drive to other eateries. Concierge and/or computer available for help. Nice pool for kids. Complimentary breakfast/hors d'ouvers available only (Monday-Thursday). Front desk staff pleasant. Good vending machine value ($1.25 for 20oz soda). Snack shop available 24/7. Access to/from hotel tricky but manageable. Good for business traveler. Elevators bump/rattle. Free parking.”

• Comfortable, clean, shuttle very helpful, well located for business.
• $10 up charge for internet, no in-room refrigerator, no automatic climate control in room.

“The room was clean and pleasant, and the bed was quite comfortable. Their restaurant prices were pretty high, especially for breakfast, so I didn't eat here since I'm a small businessman and don't have a corporate budget. The free shuttle eased the pain of being outside the downtown area and the drivers were very nice, knowledgeable guys. Two real nuisances: $10 charge for internet in the room (and only one public computer in the business center), and lack of an in-room fridge. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel highly.”

• The location was ideal for this business trip.
• Used washcloth hung over the sink upon arrival. Shower didn't drain.

“The location was fantastic, the hotel name was impressive and it was only one night. but the bathroom was not clean upon arrival. There was a stale, used washcloth hung over the shower curtain. The tub didn't drain. I would not want to stay there again.”

• Normally excellent.
• Two bad rooms this time, which is unusual here.

“I stay here about 15 times per year. Normally it is fine, deserving of 3 stars. But this time, a non smoking room at first smelled smoky. They gave us a different room, which we requested due to the smell. The second room had many carpet stains and strong deodorizer smell but was otherwise ok. This was only my 3rd bad experience here in perhaps 40 visits. One time I was given a room which was already occupied, and the desk didn't even apologize. The other bad time was being put across the hall from a revival meeting which had a lot of singing and shouting starting at 6:30am on a Sunday morning.”

• People were very helpful and friendly.
• Decor of the hotel looked very tired and not up to Sheraton standards.

“Hotel looked very tired, needs remodeling and redecorating. People were great - friendly, helpful and polite. Overall - OK, we had expected more from 3-star level Sheraton. There were no microwave or refrigerator in the room, ice machine on our floor was out of order and, since there no easily accessible stores or places to eat outside of the hotel, the only option to eat were expensive restaurant at the hotel. This hotel is OK for business not for vacations. GYM and pool were available but looked cold and empty - not very inviting, there were no hot tub. I have stayed at the Sheraton that were much better. Again - people did their best to make us welcome and comfortable, person at the front desk gave us detail directions and stay with us on the phone when we were lost coming there.”

• I didnt like the front desk staff, during the day shift.

“Once we arrived at the hotel and went to our room, we found that the A.C. wasnt working and during the night the ceiling started leaking. After advising the front desk of the room condition, they set us up in another room. The second room was very nice and met my satisfaction.”

• The room was dirty, carpet stained badly, previous guests left hairdryer on sink.

“The room was not properly cleaned. The carpet was disgustingly filthy, a dirty washcloth was on the shower bar, the towel rack was broken. The front desk clerk asked me how the room was when I checked out. I handed the person a list. I was compensated the previous nights dinner as a courtesy.”
