“THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND ATTRACTIVE IF NOT AS APPLICABLE FOR HANDICAP AS DESIRED. COULD HAVE USED A STRAIGHT CHAIR FOR USE AT THE SINK.”

• I choose to stay at the La Quinta at BDL because I can count on a high level of cleanliness.
• I wish they would become a non-smoking hotel. I could smell smoke although I was in a non-smoking room.

“We live in San Diego and our daughter goes to college in MA, and so we are beginning our third year of staying at the La Quinta whenever we take her to school or visit her during the school year. It consistently has a high level of cleanliness, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is healthy, there is reliable service to and from the airport and the hotel's location is extremely convenient to the airport, but without any airplane noise.”

“I generally like the La Quinta Hotels. This one is convenient to the airport and there are restaurants within walking distance. I prefer a hotel with a micro-fridge and that is the only drawback I found during my recent stay at La Quinta, BDL.”

• Clean, quiet, comfortable, free continental breakfast, quick van to BDL.
• It's a franchise, not charming or quirky.

“This hotel is very close to Bradley Airport, with a free shuttle van to take you to your early morning flight. There's a cute, popular neighborhood diner next door. You may not need to visit it however, as La Quinta offers a free breakfast (bagels, coffee, etc.). My room was not too small, and came equipped with the usual coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, etc. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. There is noise from the jets, but if you close your window, it's nice and peaceful.”

• Very nice breakfast bar!
• Last two days of my stay, vending machine had no Diet Coke, not good! Big disappointment!

“Perfect location near airport and a Starbucks! The breakfast bar is very nice, a great place to start the day. Hotel is small enough that there is quick access to lobby, elevators, vending, and washer/dryer. I will stay at LaQuinta again!”

• It was pet friendly with no extra deposit. We took our dog on the trip.
• Housekeeping did not clean our room. We were gone all day and when we returned at 10 pm, nothing was done.

“I was disappointed in our room not being tended to when we were out for the day, but the staff was very apologetic. I would stay again because it is a nice hotel. We have stayed there before and had a very nice stay. It is also pet friendly with no extra charge. We took our little Maltese mix on this trip.”

• It is fairly conveniently located in relation to the airport.
• The continental breakfast caters only to the average person. I have a gluten & milk allergy-could only have beverages.

“I found the stay to be better than pleasant. The room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast could have included boiled eggs but didn't. Those who have allergies to gluten/milk or are seeking low crab/high protein beware.”

• The room was pleasant.
• Not enough TV channels and continental breakfast choices were limited.

“What is up with having only 15 TV channels? I understand economy, but even the holiday Inn Express down the road has more channels. I need good TV to pass the time. They only have the BASIC channels. That was a major disappointment. Breakfast was sparse. No fresh fruit, and the coffee was lukewarm. If you have a choice, spend a few more dollars and go to a different hotel with better luxuries, like TV and more choices for breakfast.”

“Small room, small bathroom. Bed was comfortable. A clean but not necessarily cheap place to sleep if you're flight has been cancelled or if you are an airline employee on layover, but no amenities for business travelers save the free Wi-Fi internet.”

• The beds were very comfortable for hotel room.
• Not many free channel on the TV.

“The hotel was in a very accessible area with plenty of restaurants nearby. The parking lot was well lit and snow plowed. The reception ion area was very clean and well decorated and the service desk personnel were extremely helpful. When I got to the room, I was very impressed with the clean, roomy and well decorated room.”

• The room was absolutely spotless! And, electrical outlets were very convenient for recharging.
• Nothing. The whole experience was perfect.

• Even on the non smoking floor, it still smelled of smoke.

“My 1st room reeked of smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non smoking floor. Someone was smoking and it filtered to my room. I called and they offered to move me to another room, on the same floor, but down the hall. It was fine. First smelled of air freshener, but eventually that faded. They were very nice about the whole situation.”

• There was no work out room in this hotel.

“I was grateful for the wireless access to the internet. Two good restaurants were right next door to the hotel. The proximity to the airport and the hotel shuttle service was a major plus for this hotel.”

• Free cont. breakfast began at 4:30 AM, which was welcome as many travelers have very early flights.
• The pungent odor of dog feces, from some pets pile in the hallway, wafted through the building and into my room--very unpleasant.

“Aside from the horrific odor of dog feces I had to endure for half the night before it was removed from the hallway, the hotel was fairly clean and well maintained. The bathroom was well supplied, and the room was spacious. I found the bed very uncomfortable and I did not sleep--unfortunate, as that was the purpose for booking the room. I slept better in the crowded airplane! Breakfast was fair--waffles nice, and cereal and fruit available. I might have been inclined to give this hotel another chance, except for the uncomfortable bedding.”

• Uncomfortable and bad smelling bed and pillows.

“The hotel was very convenient for catching our early morning flight and the shuttle service was timely and easy. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were not only uncomfortable but they smelled bad, which made it hard to sleep. They also did not have a crib available. Even so, I¿d probably stay there again for the low price and convenience of it.”

• Nice to have microwave and refrigerator.
• Heater did not work properly. People woke us up four days in a row making a lot of noise between 3 and 4:30 am.

“Very noisy on second floor between 3 and 4:30 am. There were problems with the heater, the mattress had a slant to it and one of the pillows was like a thin hard mat.”

• Desk Clerks willingness to help since we got stuck with a smoking room initially.

“A very nice all around hotel, especially for the business traveler. Was very pleased with the complimentary breakfast offered. However, the ice machine on our floor was out of order and our room was next to the noisy elevator. Fortunately we got our smoking room switched with a guy that just checked into his non-smoking room thanks to the most helpful desk clerk, even considering they were sold out!”

• There was one particular staff member, a young girl on Saturday night and Sunday morning who helped us with a smile. Breakfast was great.
• Hated the inability to change from a smoking room, toilet clogged and flooded our room.

“The hotel was average, breakfast was nice, the kids liked cooking their own waffles. Our rooms were very stinky and small. We were offered a machine to help with the smoke smell, but it offered little help. ”
