- I like it's location.
- I was told at the desk that the breakfast was complementary and then after I began eating I was charged me $10 for a cold breakfast.
“Very poor customer service. They forgot my wake up call. Charged me for a breakfast, was told that it was free. I overheard a conversation from the employee at the front desk. They were refusing to refund a handicap individual who they could not accommodate. I will not stay at a Double Tree again.”

- The hotel was in a good location for our purposes near the airport.
- The hotel was badly in need of maintenance.
“The first room they gave us we could not even enter because the door lock would not function. They gave us a different room that had peeling wallpaper, a television with serious issues with the screen that caused part of the image to appear with a green tint and another to have a purple tint, and there was Kleenex tissue shoved in the access panel of the thermostatic control to keep it from making a rattling noise. I have stayed at other Doubletree Hotels in the past and this one was clearly not up to the standard that I was expecting. I would rate this hotel as a 1 star based on the overall shabby condition of the facilities, and I was quite disappointed since I was expecting 2 1/2 star accommodations or better.”

- The bed and linens were very comfortable and nice.
- Breakfast buffet was expensive and poor quality.
“Fixtures and decor were worn and dirty, especially in the bathroom. Breakfast pastries were at least a day old and dried up. Not up to my previous experiences with Doubletree properties. Arriving at 11pm, there was no food available either from the restaurant or room service. I had to walk 5 blocks to the nearest Taco Bell to find something to eat.”

- It was close to the airport. Good cookies.
- Rundown, fixtures in rooms did not work.
“The location was perfect, but this Doubletree did not live up to others I have stayed at. The lobby was somewhat rundown, the check-in desk actually had initials carved in it, and in the first room they gave me the room lamps and toilet did not work and the carpet was badly stained. They gave me another room that was ok, but the carpets were stained there also and the bathroom was rundown.”

- The shuttle service was very convenient - we arrived late at night with much luggage.
- Basic rooms-in-a-box type feel. Maintanence not thorough.

- The bed was fabulous. Great pillows, very, very comfortable.
- Rug stained, cigarettes burns on coach. Soda machine on our floor out of order.
“Overall satisfactory. The pool was enjoyable and our sleeping experience very good as mentioned above. We had to go up to the fourth floor (we were on the second) to find a soda machine that worked. Also, machines kept our money and gave us back a nickel instead of a quarter. The food wasmediocre.”

- Hotel staff where professional yet personal, listened and provided the appropriate help or found the resource that I needed.
- Toilets were loud. Need to be adjusted to run quieter. Internet should be free like their competition.
“The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are average in size with most common amenities and the beds are new and comfortable.This hotel is a short shuttle to and from the airport and it is 1 block from the freeway. Many airline personnel stay their and usually means a great hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including their own to fit every budget. The Hotel maintains a great workout room and pool. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a reliable hotel to stay which is centrally located.”

- the bathroom was too small and no refrigator or microwave.
“When i first pulled up to the hotel i thought that it was a jail or something. A very old building but they did try to make it look nice on the inside.I didn't like the fact that i had to pay .75 for every local phone call. The cable tv only had about 20 stations and most of them were news, or home shopping. The bathroom was so little that you couldn't hardly turn around. The staff was rude to say the least. What i paid for this room was all most to much i would never pay any more for this hotel. Usually you get a refrigator or/and a microwave but neither were in the room. and why is it if you have 4 adults in a room that they only give you 4 bath towels you might need two to take a shower.”

“ The walls are thin between the rooms. The hotel is definitely not a quiet place to stay. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and never noticed any security guards in the hotel or parking area. There are better hotels to stay at in this area. I don't recommend the Windsor Locks,CT DoubleTree Hotel.”

- A great bed...
- Front desk staff were not around at checkout and to answer questions.

- non-smoking and smoking rooms on the same floor
“Although the beds are the excellent new "sweet dreams" ones, the rest of the hotel is getting outdated. Bathroom towels should be thrown out and replaced with new ones. They looked grey and were rough. New vanities would be a good move as well, was cracked and stopper did not hold.With more and more, cheaper, hotels offering free Internet access, charging $9.95 is not a good business move.”

- warm cookies, nice lobby, great location
- VERY noisy rooms, not very clean
“The location is great for business travelers, however, you have to pay extra for high speed internet. The lobby was very nice, but the rooms were very run down. Not the quality I would have expected from a Doubletree. There are other hotels in the area I would stay in before choosing this Doubletree again.”

- they held foam pillows and got us a non smoking room
- first trip thru was a disaster
“It would be fine if you can sleep with feather pillows and comforters. On my first trip, they didn't have anything to subsitute and I ended up sleeping on rolled up towels.”
