“My son and I stayed here for a father & son ski weekend and were very happy with our accommodations. The suite was larger than we expected and very well maintained, though not brand new. My son loved the game room.” Mar 11, 2009 by

“I am picky when it comes to hotels. This place was pretty, clean, and staff was very friendly. I liked the free breakfast! I haven't been to an Eco-friendly hotel before, so it was nice to see signs around the rooms on how to save energy. Go green! Rooms didn't smell which was good. I stayed in a suite and it was roomy. The high ceilings. I would say the lack of clocks in the hotel room (only one on night stand). Sounds silly I know but it is nice to know what time it is without having to go to the bedroom. The biggest thing is the friendly staff. The bed sheets actually get washed every visit! I hate those blankets in other hotels that only get washed once every 6 months.” Feb 23, 2009 by
Ron from Houston,DE
“This hotel has separate buildings on the property with both suites and rooms which are tastefully decorated. Office, game room, and restaurant encompass a separate unattached building on the property.” Jan 7, 2009 by
Ed from Belle Mead,NJ
“It was a little off the beaten path as far as distance to Killington mountain, where we were skiing two days. Having said that, the stay was very comfortable, the game room was nice for the kids and the free breakfast was over the top!” Sep 10, 2008 by
Kim from Ledyard, CT
“Very comfy and the staff was very helpful.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Ron from Toronto, ON CA “There is an outer door leading to a vestibule with two inner doors. Guests in other room had a late night party and left outer door ajar and inner door open to make it easier for their friends to come and go. The vestibule acted as an echo chamber, making it impossible to sleep. Had to call twice to get guests to close the inner door. If the outer door is closed, you hear the knocking of people coming for the party. Poor design but maybe not a huge problem if there is little traffic into the adjoining room when you are trying to sleep.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Anna from Ewing, NM
“Very nice! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.” Aug 27, 2008 by

“Nice place to stay when in or around Rutland VT. The rooms are in condo like buildings with 4 rooms per building. These rooms are very clean, plus they have microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffee makers and all with big clean tub/shower and bathrooms. You will have to walk outside to get to the main lobby and continental breakfast area.(which was great)” Aug 19, 2008 by
Nick from Bronx, NY
“A sprawling, multi-building hotel with superb beds and country quiet.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Dave from Prescott, ON CA
“A great hotel with beautiful surroundings, and the entire on site comforts required to give us a relaxing stay after a long day on the road.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Cynthia from Chicago, IL
“This ski-country motor lodge had all the good qualities every Best Western hotel has. Staff was very courteous.” Apr 25, 2008 by
Martha from Newton, MA
“Very nice quiet spot.” Apr 24, 2008 by

“For this star level a great economical choice for the Killington area.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Peter from Guilford, CT
“1st class hotel and staff. Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this motel.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Denise from Cincinnati, OH
“The hotel rooms were separated into condo like buildings. When needing something from the lobby, you have to go outdoors and walk a bit if in the last building. It's not something I wanted to do at night by myself. But the setting was pretty, and was in a wooded area. When entering our unit, there was a vestibule which separated us from the neighbor. It was a good stomping off the snow area!” Mar 29, 2008 by
Candyoh from Bellows Falls, VT
“The hotel was very nice overall, the furnishings were well-chosen and the lot was well-lit. The only negative I experienced again was that the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke while supposedly smoke-free. Otherwise very nice.” Mar 4, 2008 by
John E. from Lewes, DE
“I had to travel 9 hours to get home and I had to leave early due to a major winter storm bearing down on the area. This was a safety issue for my family and not a capricious cancellation.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Bill from Manassas, VA
“Very nice place.” Nov 22, 2007 by
Stu from North Chatham, MA
“A clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay between Rutland & Killington!” Oct 18, 2007 by
Pamela from Fremont, OH
“They did a wonderful job of getting us a smoking room the second day to accommodate us. The cleaning people did a wonderful job. Excellent breakfast and they were really kind and friendly it seemed almost like home. They did a great job.” Sep 14, 2007 by
Phil from Cazenovia, NY
“Need more warm and fuzziness at the desk. Maybe she had a long day but so did we.” Sep 8, 2007 by
Richard from Verdun, QC CA
“The room was comfortable, the smallest offered at the hotel. The bathroom was clean and properly maintained. A free continental breakfast was offered and was quite good, if not overly substantial. It is a condominium resort style property set among Vermont's mountains and is really quite idyllic. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool and a number of picnic tables scattered around the hilly terrain. My wife and I enjoyed it so much.” Sep 4, 2007 by
H from Haslett, MI
“Half of the hotel rooms here are suites and half regular motel rooms with two double beds. The suites are probably nice. The double rooms are ok if you get a good rate, but aren't worth the rate the hotel charges for them.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Mark from Hyde Park, VT
“Nice place. Close to Rutland and no so bad in relation to the mountain. Bathroom was clean. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Cable includes Comedy Central which is sometimes missing in other establishments. Rooms are a little far from the lobby and it's laid out like a 70's hippy college campus with little buildings that have 8 rooms in them spread out down the drive but that makes for a nice quiet stay.” Aug 26, 2007 by
David from Colchester, VT
“Nice.” Mar 7, 2007 by
Aric from Ashburnham, MA
“A nice hotel for money. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Wooden stairs and walkways attached to outside building were nosily from foot traffic well past bed time. Very bad, loud Sunday morning from skier crud.” May 4, 2006 by
Ed from Satellite Beach, FL
“Hotel was average for room provided. Property was two star considering the accommodations I had.” Mar 15, 2006 by
Michael from Greenfield, MA
“Good place nice environment, helpful staff with upgrade, room with double beds for 139 seemed over priced when you could have suite for 179. Suite was good value double bed room bad value more like 99.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
