• Liked the artwork and the indoor pool.
• We did not have a car; sidewalks would have been nice to the nearby restaurants.

• Very clean, extremely convenient to highways, many places to eat nearby.
• No smoking anywhere on the grounds.

“I would totally recommend. I have been to this hotel before, years ago when it belonged to another chain and prior to remodel. Huge improvement, everything was clean, new and updated. Internet ready computers and printers readily available in the lobby. Very convenient location--lots of china and local eateries nearby, easy off of either of 2 exits. Only complaint: I traveled with a smoker and with a small bar on site, to ban smoking even outdoors on hotel property is kind of foolish.”

• Elevator problem at first, quickly fixed.

• The blankets provided in lieu of the down comforter were worn and uncomfortable.

• Not the friendliest staff in the world.

“This hotel is definitely best for the business traveler. The room had very basic, utilitarian furniture and decor. It was very clean. The hotel staff wasn't the friendliest, to be honest, but they were efficient at least. The shower facilities were a little claustrophobic, so if you're a big guy, you might feel a bit cramped.”

• The in-room instant coffee was the worst I ever tasted.

“Very good first impression at front desk, clean and attractive lobby. Pc/internet access was a convenient additional amenity. Bar/restaurant offered a managers reception - which was somewhat disappointing. Room was very comfortable, clean and attractively appointed.”

• Swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, and free breakfast.
• Need more food selections in restaurant.

“Love the rooms: plenty of space and cable TV. Kids really enjoyed the pool as they spent 8 hours swimming over the two days we were there. Restaurant juices (single serving containers) were either partially or totally frozen at breakfast, making them difficult to drink. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Telling my boss not to send me back there!
• The front desk staff and the cleanliness of my room.

“I actually was very surprised by the visit. Looking at the outside of the Courtyard you would think you would be going into a classy and friendly environment. When I walked into the door all I saw was the front desk girl kissing her boyfriend goodbye and it definitely was not a smooch. Then when I walked to the front desk she looked at me as if I were a ghost. No friendly welcome here. I must say I hope the manager does read these comments and try to fix the problem before more and more people start to complain about this. I wont mention any names but those people know who they are. The room was OK but around the tub wasn't clean and I found a receipt behind my side table that was dated 2 months before my stay. A bit more attention wouldn't hurt and I would think that Marriott as such a LARGE company, that they wouldn't let something like this happen. ”

• Conservation friendly - E.g.. bed linens were changed every three days.
• No free drinking water or complementary breakfast. Some hotels offer that.

• The hotel is clean and the room well kept.
• The bathroom area was extremely small.

“For the price that I received this hotel is of excellent value and quality. The hotel is beautiful. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side but this room was much better than the last room we stayed in at this hotel. My only complaint was that there seems to be issues with the TV's, last time it got stuck on one channel and this time we ordered a movie that never showed and they wouldn't reimburse us.”

“Overall the hotel is very nice especially for a Marriott. I was disappointed with the bathroom as it was extremely small and the lighting was poor. It would be more of an upscale hotel worth the regular price if it was not for that.”

• The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet.
• The shower did not drain, so the tub filled with water.

“Overall, this hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet, in a convenient location and I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable, but the outer comforter was made in a cheap, nylon and polyester material, and it kept sliding off of the bed as we slept. They should upgrade to better comforters, but other than that, I would rate the quality of this hotel as high.”

• One word: EVERYTHING! I loved this hotel, VERY clean, VERY friendly staff. A+.
• None noticed.

“This was a wonderful place to stay. Recently renovated, the Courtyard was well worth the rate I paid. The furniture was comfy and nice looking, the amenities were well laid out and looked nice. Absolutely no complaints!”

• Beautiful facility, New and spotlessly clean.
• Very little in entertainment in general area

“This is as nice a Marriott property as I have ever stayed in. That includes the regular Marriott hotels. I travel 40 weeks per year and have stayed in many hotels and this Courtyard is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.”

• clean, quiet , peaceful
• in house restaurant was expensive

“Nice large rooms, clean. Friendly staff. Used the room after a week of travelling (not in CT) - so really just went there at 8 PM and slept until morning. Room had large bed, sofa, desk, tv, coffe machine, microwave, fridge and large bathroom. Didn't eat breakfast there - since I could get cheaper where I was heading for the day.”

• The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and had a microwave and refrigerator
• You could smell the grill from below on my floor(2nd)

“The hotel was very clean,with nice rooms. I had a king with a pull out couch. Each room has a microwave and refrigerator which came in handy traveling with children. I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant,,but the menu looked good.It is also close to restaurants and small shops. Staff were friendly and accomadating without being over bearing.”
