“not a three star....” Jul 6, 2005 by
Bob from Birmingham, AL
“This is definitely not a three-star hotel as advertised. I would not stay here again.” Jul 3, 2005 by
Ralph from N. Scituate, RI
“It was worth the price that I paid. The TV's could use updating. The bed was very comfortable and the climate control worked fine.Overall, it was a good experience.” Jun 15, 2005 by
Erin from Sandy Hook, CT
“Comfortable accomodations. Located right next to a super market which is convenient for longer stays. There is a microwave and fridge in the room and a restaurant connected, but no room service. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus.” Jun 4, 2005 by
Vicki from Santa Barbara, CA
“This is NOT a 3 star hotel. The rooms are large but decorated from the 70's. Our telephone didn't work, toilet didn't work (had to change rooms), channel changer didn't work. The carpet was old and stained! You need to remove this hotel from your list or move it to a 1 star!!! I was very disappointed!!!!!” May 10, 2005 by
Alan from Kentwood, MI
“Decent hotel not sure I would give it a 3 star however maybe a 2 1/2.” May 9, 2005 by
Charles from Macon, GA
“The accommodations were wonderful. The parking lot needs improvement. A large super grocery store next door added to the convenience and the refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and computer hookup was a plus. The best arrangement of rooms in a suite of any hotel, except the most expensive, that I have ever stayed in.” Apr 29, 2005 by
Daniel from Brick, NJ
“GREAT HOTEL.Not name brand but TOP NOTCH Highly recommend. They even upgraded us to a suite.” Apr 21, 2005 by
Pat from Louisa, VA
“Very good hotel even at rates! Good location near Interstate, groc store and restaurants (inhouse restaurant was closed on Sunday); wireless access; underground parking. We will return, but with earplugs next time.” Mar 8, 2005 by
Ken from Sayreville, NJ

“Good location, could here people snoring thru the walls, customer service was good, and breakfast bagels seamed stale.” Feb 21, 2005 by
Claudia from Goshen, NY
“I had a pleasant 5 night stay. The one night I ate in the restaurant...the food was great. The continental breakfast was fine. One hostess" at breakfast never got off the bar stool & tended to neglect the food area. The other woman (who turned out to be my waitress for dinner)...never sat down. She was preparing various tasks for the restaurant for the day."” Feb 12, 2005 by
Peter from Exeter, NH
“Great value, good staff, restaurant/bar in-house.” Jan 15, 2005 by
Ed from Heathrow, FL
“Over all it met my needs and the price was right” Jan 12, 2005 by
Susan from Westerly, RI
“The hotel is convenient to the highway yet quiet. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Our room was a suite with a king size bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. This was a surprise given the affordability and was a welcome treat. I would recommend this hotel.” Nov 30, 2004 by
Julie S. from Sandy Hook “Hotel was definitely not a 4 star hotel...very disappointing.” Oct 14, 2004 by
“We asked for a three star hotel, and got a one star experience. We got a room, not a suite. It was larger than a cheap hotel room, but not by much. There was no pool, which we expect of a three star hotel. There were many little annoyances that added up. The counter in the kitchenette had an ugly brown charred spot from someone putting a hot pot on the Formica. The clock radio and the microwave oven displayed different times, neither of which was within 15 minutes of the actual time. The TV had a plethora of cable channels, but the display on the TV was all wrong. It displayed ESPN when viewing the Disney channel. The paper channel guide wasn't correct either. We couldn't find HBO until we figured out that the channel labeled HBO2 was really HBO. We thought about watching a movie, but there were only six non adult selections to choose from. There was no luggage stand. The electronic door lock failed, and we were unable to get into our room. The staff fixed this promptly. Finally, the fire alarm went off at 5 AM; it smelled like someone had burned toast. One or two or even three of these minor annoyances would have been tolerable, stuff happens. But we felt that at every turn there was some new obstacle to overcome, and that made this hotel an unpleasant experience.” Sep 21, 2004 by
Karen G. from Middleburg, FL “We have stayed in this hotel before and have always been satisfied with it. The only problem that we had this time was minor--there was a slight problem with the electronic lock on the door. I would certainly recommend this facility to friends and family.”
