• The Bathroom was too small.

• Girl at front desk was very helpful.
• I paid for a night I could not use because of extenuating circumstances, no flexibility.

• About the only thing I did like was the fact that there was a fridge & micro in room.
• My room bolt lock didnt work, crickets chirping all night long, ants in the pool area, no towels at pool, staff person at pool VERY RUDE.

“I was not at impressed and was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. The dead bolt lock did not work in my room, there was no chain lock, and anyone that had a master key could have come in our room at any time. I travel with my 8-year-old daughter & this was a huge safety issue with me. In the bathroom, you could hear crickets chirping all day & night long. I saw what appeared to be a cockroach in the bathroom; we had to have the bathroom door closed with a towel at the bottom of the door. My daughter was very scared that they might come out & get her; she wouldn't go to the bathroom in the room. The pool area was not kept up. There were ants all over the floor area. My daughter got bit by one that scared her; she didn't want to go to the pool anymore. There were no towels in the pool area. The staff person in the pool area, was VERY RUDE, he acted like it was such a big inconvenience for him to even be there. At one point he made the gesture of a gun and had it up to his head, which again frightened my daughter. The pool water was very cold; I even called before I made the reservation to make sure it was a heated pool. I did not feel it was heated at all. Hotel was close to a highway and you could hear trucks go by. All in all, we definitely will never stay at this hotel!”

• Clientele were quiet. The front desk was helpful and friendly.
• Dirty and in disrepair. The pool had dirt and algae in the bottom.

“Convenient location is the saving grace for this "Okay" hotel. The restaurant and bar are friendly with good (not excellent) food and selection. Prices are average for the area. The hotel is old and in need of repair in many areas. My bathroom faucet was loose, the tub didn't drain very well, and the paint was peeling in the room.”

• I liked the complimentary breakfast.
• The maid service was way below par, there was no bathroom fan, and the toilet didn't flush well.

“The Clarion's staff was friendly and helpful when communication took place, however, the room was pretty worn and cleanliness was not high on their list of priorities.”

• The staff tried their best to be helpful.
• The rooms were old, poorly maintained and not very nice at all.

“I was disappointed with this hotel. The location is near the highway (road noise) and in an industrial area right near a bad neighborhood. If you come in the way they direct you it doesn't look bad. But miss a turn and the neighborhood you drive through is pretty scary. I had the hotel change my room after the first night, so I stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the first floor; one of the beds was on a frame larger than the mattress, so parts of the frame stuck out and were hazardous to me walking around the room. The rugs were sticky and the bathroom was not maintained well. Everything felt dirty except for the sheets themselves. The second night's room was upstairs and in better shape in terms of cleanliness and safety, but the bathroom was still beat-up looking and old, the toilet was even set at an odd height, lower than a standard toilet. I don't blame the staff but this hotel felt like a cheap hotel that hasn't been properly maintained in years. I wouldn't stay here again.”

• It¿s cheap.
• Not the best area.

“Building showed obvious signs of wear - beyond that it was adequate btw - hotel was willing to refund one night since I didn¿t use both night. If you're unsure of how long you're staying, you're committed to the full stay.”

“I thought the hotel was really nice. Just don't come expecting a five star gym. Other than that, the hotel was a very nice place to stay in, and the restaurant in the hotel was very good. Maybe a bit pricey, but I think that you do get your money's worth.”

• Pricing and location.
• Customer service was not good, they were arguing at the front desk, this was between two staff members.

“Overall I was disappointedly with the hotel, I have stayed at other Clarions and they have been better. This one was missing service, there was change on the floor in the room, and overall it was not clean.”

• The free breakfast buffet was well above average!!!!
• The paint on my ceiling was peeling.

“The breakfast buffet was delicious looking (I met friends for breakfast, so I can only speak for the taste of the coffee, which was fine). The had waffle makers with batter for everyone to make, yogurt, a large selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and pickled eggs. The breakfast buffet was well above your average free continental breakfast!!!! The room had a kitchen attached which was strange because it was never mentioned to me. The room was alright, the paint was peeling from the ceiling but the room was clean enough.”

• Continental Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and understanding. Conveniently located.
• No elevator to certain wing of the hotel. Window has some sort of stain.

“This hotel isn't the greatest, but it is the best value. I recommend this hotel for business stay or if you're just saving a few bucks with your friends. Definitely don't come here with your significant other, he/she will be disappointed.”

“There are bugs in there rooms, I almost chocked to death, In the morning I did not notice that there was a bug in my water next to my bed table and it was 5am and should have opened the light.”

• hotel staff was nice
• old hotel, not in the best location

“Old hotel that needs to be renovated terribly. The location is difficult to find and the neighborhood is a little "iffy". The staff was very friendly though.”

“The room was pleasant, but the debacle with the fire alarm made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The alarm went off four times in one night, including ringing for 45 minutes straight between 2:45 am and 3:30 am. The hotel should have given a rate concession, but instead gave me attitude about how it was not their fault that the fire alarm kept all their guests awake. I would not stay there again.”

• My room had a microwave and fridge.
• The elevators were kind of old.

“Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. I love the fact that the rooms had a microwave and fridge so that way I could make myself some breakfast in the morning. Great location off of I-90.”
