• The beds were very comfortable and the staff was attentive.
• The breakfast was very limited but there were problems with their equipment.

“Considering that the Hampton inn is currently undergoing extensive renovations, the quality of the rooms and services were excellent. The furniture in the rooms was very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The rooms were also immaculate. Staff did their best to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied the room. The hotel is in a great location near Albany airport and all the shops and government offices on wolf road. Ideal for business or leisure.”

• It was clean, the bathroom was new, and the breakfast was great!
• They are currently renovating the hotel, so some halls were not accessible It wasn't noisy though.

“I would stay there again. The room was outstanding. Parts of the rest of the hotel were under reconstruction so it is not fair to rate the balance of the Hotel. According to the signs, reconstruction will be finished at the end of November 2006.”

• Room originally assigned to us should be taken out of service (#521); change request, though, was immediately honored.

• Great price nice room very comfortable bed.
• Originally said, I could only get a king smoking room.

“Great rate. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Only one small glitch was they only were going to give me a king smoking. But they gave me a room with 2 double beds room no smoking with little hustle.”

• It was convenient and had just a few extra touches to make it feel very special for the price.
• The rooms were not well insulated. You could hear everything in the hall--TV.; conversions; etc.

“Very comfortable and off the main thoroughfare. The hotel is nestled behind a local restaurant and you have to be looking for it to see it. It is in a quiet area, but very close to the interstate. The room are well kept and the bed linens are VERY nice. Staff is friendly and willing to help in any way possible. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Morning free breakfast was great.
• How about sheets not changed from previous guests, and hair all over pillows and sheets.

“As we arrived, it took a while for the clerk to locate our reservation in the computer, we were given a room with double beds. We went to the room, as I checked the bed, I noticed hair inside the bed (on the sheets ) so I checked the other bed, and same situation, sheets were dirty (hair from previous guests) went to the front desk and inform them of the problem. A maid came to the room, and she saw for herself that I was not exaggerating, and offered to change the sheets immediately. We were given a different room (king size bed) room was better. The hotel is a mess, as you walk in you can see that management worst. I will never return to this hotel.”

• High speed Internet down, was told it was being worked on when it obviously was not. Could not book more.

• The staff was friendly and told me the shuttle could take me to the nearby mall¿great.
• I waited for the shuttle driver because he thought I was coming out and I thought he was coming in.

“I had the handicap room with a large bathroom The bedding was very nice and the pillows the type I could accurately sleep on. It was inviting when I arrived.”

• The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
• Nothing.

“When checking in we were assigned a room with a king size bed -- the staff seeing we had two children with us age 8 and 7 set us up with two roll away beds and Herman went above and beyond to get them set up for us. The following morning we arrived after the free breakfast had ended and as the woman in charge was closing up -- she took the time to make sure that we were fed.”

• The staff were friendly and accommodating They gave me directions and suggestions to local places.
• The halls were somewhat shabby and not air conditioned Towels in short supply 2nd night.

“Overall the hotel was well appointed, pretty clean and what I expected. Location was easy to find and convenient to Albany. Breakfast buffet was good, but slow to replenish items. Staff were polite and helpful.”

• Called several days in advance, confirmed double n/s when arrived said we did not have.

“Called toes. 4/25 10:43 am confirmed reserved and confirmed double non-smoking. When arrived Saturday evening to check in. Was told all they had left was king smoking. Ended up with double smoking (not to happy) everything else was fine.”

• There's not more of them.

“Very Convenient location. Beds were very comfortable to sleep on and had wonderful, comfortable coverings. Staff were very polite, courteous, helpful, friendly. Free wireless internet connection is a must plus. A very pleasant experience.”

• The hotel was very easy to get to from the thruway.
• They charged didn't have any TV. channels. We couldn't relax and watch TV, without buying a movie that would cost $10.99!

“The Hotel was overall good. The breakfast was wonderful the staff needed to have a little more knowledge. They need more TV. stations or free HBO. We ended up leaving to find stuff to do.”

• The bed was comfortable, the shampoo and soap that were provided were nicer than economy class accommodations and the complimentary breakfast was good.
• It is in the flight path of the airport.

“We arrived tired and hungry. The check in was aided by chocolate chip cookies and the provision of cables to connect the laptop in order to get directions for the following day. The room was clean and comfortable, everything was working and in good order. We were able to have a quick breakfast with great coffee and get on our way, well rested, fed and no need to make another stop.”

• Very good price, friendly staff, free high speed internet and breakfast.
• A 30 year old property that badly needs plumbing and mechanical repairs.

“One lamp was burned out. In-room coffee maker had no carafe. Sink drain was sluggish. Shower didn't shut off completely. The bathroom flooded with water coming from the ceiling.”

• Front desk.

“Front desk was not helpful. The man at check in took forever and was not friendly. When I called the next day to ask a question, a second person was very rude and had a TV or radio blasting in the background and kept telling me to repeat myself. However, the woman who cleaned my room was great. She did such a wonderful job and was very helpful and courteous.”

• When I checked in the first room I got had a strong mildew smell and the carpet was wet by the window (ground floor ) but they gave me another room.

• Very accommodating to customers.
• No Airport shuttle on Sunday.

“Rooms were clean. No obvious tobacco use stink, rather pleasant non smoking rooms. Good environmental control systems, good views. Close to feeding places in ambulatory distance. Great morning continental breakfast. Worth the stay. Elevators were reasonably speedy. Attractive location. Staff is friendly, accommodating and understanding. Great stay over location.”

• Surprisingly Clean and Modern. Nice free breakfast.
• The smell in hall outside room 307.

“Modern, clean, and conveniently located near the airport. Rooms are modern and make the most of the available space. The beds are comfortable. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a variety of coffees and teas, and delicious French toast. ”

• The staff was very friendly but took a long time to answer the phone late at night
