“The Hilton name should not be attached to this hotel. I've stayed in Holiday Inn's that could've been the Four Seasons compared to the Hilton Fort Lee.” Apr 9, 2007 by
Mae from Sudbury, MA
“This is a great alternative to NYC hotels. It was all expected. I would definitely stay here again.” Mar 29, 2007 by

“Ok accommodations, comfortable room but nothing special. When we arrived Saturday night at 9pm there was a bat mitzvah going on and this was very loud. Yelling kids running wild on the second floor of the hotel. I would have preferred someone keep this under control more than they did. When we called to ask for a non-smoking room the woman was very rude and wanted to give us a room with only one small bed in it because we had used it. It should not be this way. Someone should speak to the management of the hotel to make sure their employees don't have this attitude about customers. We called back the next day to see if they could arrange something better and finally did end up in a room with two decent sized beds, but the man we spoke to the second time said, "you know you are getting a really good deal on this room!" as if I was supposed to feel guilty or something. Again, I didn't need this attitude.” Mar 29, 2007 by
Carol from Belmont, MA

“The power went out and they were not equipped to correct the problem during my stay from 6pm to 7am.Horrible experience.” Mar 1, 2007 by

“Good location, clean room. Some people were having a party at the karaoke on 2nd floor, and the noise came all the way up to the high floor where I was staying. Nevertheless, it was a nice hotel.” Dec 14, 2006 by
Jl from Bethesda, MD
“Fine quality at an excellent price; the location could be inconvenient if you have limited time.” Oct 25, 2006 by
Audrey from Great Falls, VA

“Friendly, helpful staff. convenient location to drive into northern Manhattan from. Hotel shuttle is somewhat expensive.” Sep 13, 2006 by
Nancy from Paramus, NJ
“This hotel was very clean, convenient location (although a bit tricky to approach as you have to make u-turns). The bathroom could use updating and there was not a book of local restaurants - just the bible. Thanks. Nancy Baker.” Sep 6, 2006 by
Stan from Columbus, OH
“The hotel is too old and it smells. The room I stayed in has water stain on the ceiling and the elevator is very shaky when it moves.” Aug 21, 2006 by
Cody from Lima, OH
“The Hilton was conveniently located off an exit in Ft. Lee, NJ, but that's where the good ended for the most part. There is VERY limited transportation to and from the hotel and it will cost you a minimum of $10 per person for use of the hotel shuttle if it will even take you where you want to go. We stayed on the third floor which ended up being not only a smoking floor, but also faced the roof of the building which was under construction at the time of our stay. This was even worse since that meant that all day there were workers walking in front of your windows so you had to keep the blinds drawn. The Shower and restroom facilities were mediocre at best for the level of quality expected of a Hilton, and to top it off there were no exhaust fans in the bathroom which made the steam almost unbearable and made no sense considering it was a smoking room. On the up side the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of making the room smell and feel as if it were a non smoking room. The beds in the Hilton are also among some of the best I've ever slept in. If your looking for a place to stay for a night I recommend it, but if your staying for an extended time like myself avoid this one!” Aug 14, 2006 by
Marcia from Northfield, NJ
“Nice - has great pool and hot tub. Fitness center was being redone - not much equipment. Good guest services.” Aug 11, 2006 by

“The Hilton in fort Lee was great! The staff was excellent. Very professional and took the time to help us and answer all our questions. We would recommend this hotel to others.” Aug 8, 2006 by
Susan from Pembroke Pines, FL
“I thought that the hotel was clean (lobby, rooms etc)....but the location if you were a leisure traveler, was really not convenient. The hotel was located right off a very congested highway, leading onto the George Washington Bridge, no streets to walk to a convenience store, or any restaurants, because there were no streets to cross. I was upset because the website for the hotel said that the pool was under repair, and would be ready on 7/30..I arrived on the 28th....It wasn't ready until 8/4..I left on the 5th..I did like the fact that the hotel did have a shuttle to New York, midtown, but I thought it was quite pricey” Jul 16, 2006 by

“Super location, rooms and staff.” Jul 16, 2006 by
Jeff from Trenton, NJ
“This hotel is very hard to get to, as evidenced by my driving around for 45 minutes trying to get to it, while talking to an employee on my mobile phone, who was incapable of describing how to get to the hotel. He finally put me on hold and I hung up and found the hotel on my own. I had ordered a non smoking room and when I got to my room I immediately noticed smell of cigarette smoke. It was late, but I called the front desk anyway and was told that they were sold out and could not change my room. I said I wanted to be changed to a non smoking room and was told I would have to call back the next day. As I was attending a seminar, by the time that finished and had gone to diner, it was late again and so I spent a second night in this stinky smokers room.” Jul 8, 2006 by
Jason from Palisades, NJ
“Lobby should be improved and should have sign age of the hotel location. I kept passing the hotel and could not get to it properly.” Jul 5, 2006 by
Judy from Fort Lee, NJ
“It was like staying at a different hotel.” Jun 7, 2006 by

“Getting here is a pain -- if you're coming from nick you have to take rt 4 w then make a u turn and come back on rt 4 e. After getting to the hotel everything was acceptable.” May 17, 2006 by
Scott from Coral Springs, FL
“The bathtub and shower were old and needed upgrading. Other than that the hotel was great. The beds and bedding were exceptional and made the whole stay enjoyable.” May 4, 2006 by
Olivia F. from Richmond, VA
“Nice hotel, great service. bathroom wasn't as clean as expected from a Hilton, but tolerable. Brownish water stains in sink and tub took away from clean feel.” Apr 26, 2006 by
Martha from Apple Valley, MN
“Overall, the hotel was very good. However, we had specifically called to request a king-size bed. When we arrived there was none -- and not even a queen. I have serious back problems; the first night I got almost NO sleep. Luckily, they were able to transfer us to a room with a king-size bed for the second night.” Apr 6, 2006 by
Gary from Cypress, CA
“Not worth the money.” Mar 27, 2006 by
Michelle from Winston Salem, NC
“I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beds and furnishings. Bathroom was great, as were the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Excellent value.” Mar 20, 2006 by

“Directions are difficult and staff is not very well versed on this. Lobby bar is extremely smoky. The workout room is a joke. Rooms were very clean and room service was prompt and the food was very good.” Jan 16, 2006 by
Harry from Dayton, OH

“Great hotel, very clean, convenient location, and it has 2 restaurants downstairs as well as a full bar and bar menu. Great location if you're looking to go to NYC but not willing to pay NYC prices.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 3, 2005 by

“Good location convenient to the GW bridge. Close to Manhattan at an affordable price.” Feb 25, 2005 by

“I've stayed here frequently in the past; it's a good hotel experience: quality, cleanliness, in-room & business center computer hookups, indoor pool, two good restaurants (Italian & Japanese), comfortable sports bar, prompt room service, minutes from Manhattan, access to multiple major highways. Covered parking option a big bonus with 5-1/2" of snow during stay this past weekend. This Hilton my first choice for northern NJ/NYC area.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 7, 2005 by

“The location was great but the service was not. Also, the hotel is aging (and not well!) and is not as well maintained as I expected.” Oct 20, 2004 by
“A very enjoyable hotel. Friendly staff and helpful too.Did not like that it was difficult to get from 4West to 4East. Got lost for 45 minutes. Enjoyed the stay. Rooms were neat and quiet.” Hotel Representatives:
