• Attractive; aroma candles burning at night in public.
• Limited
  TV chanels, no instruction hotel amenities.

“Attractively decorated hotel in upper west side. Appears popular with international clients. Conviently located to public transportation. Clean and eco-conscious with decision left to guest regarding towel and sheet changing. Mini bar very sensitive to investigation. Attempted charges to me and other guests at checkout tho denials were honored. Bathroom sink drain did not work despite maintence intervention. Apparently it was installed improperly. Burnt light bulb replaced promptly. Cosmetic issues with stain on carpet [tho carpet felt recently cleaned] and slightly dented window woodwork.”

• Location, price and cleanliness of staff.
• Room were little small.

“It is a very convenient location with a great 24 hour dinner right across the street! It was very well kept and cleanliness was obviously a priority! I didn't use the facilities, but if the rest of the hotel is any indication, I'm sure they are more than adequate. Great neighborhood, 8 bucks to theater district, walk to the park. I think it is important to say that my wife and I have been to NY many times and we think we will stay here again for all of the above reasons.”

• The bed and look of the room.
• The pillows.

“The hotel is located in a great neigborhood with lots of interesting shops & restaurants nearby. The staff is helpful & friendly and the rooms and lobby are decorated upscale but user friendly. Close to subways and easy to get taxis from the street.”

• The holel was clean, with friendly staff.
• This holel was much to expensive for what was offered and my room was very small.

“My stay at on the ave was nothing special I did not even stay the entire length of my stay. First of all the hotel was much too expensive, the room I got was very small and the flat screem TV is much to close it felt like it was sitting on the bed. At check out I was not able to signed due to broken printer that also made me uncomfortable because there was no way I can ensure there were no additional charges which should not be on my bill go added on. I would have to stay there again to get and overall go experiece. Thanks.”

• The concierge, was excellent.

“No dinning or bar, but that is being built. When I checked out at 5:00am.
Somehow the front desk could get me a private car. But not a cab.”

• The concierge was not knowledgeable, no in house restaurant.

“It will be better when the resturant opens, they should tell us that room service comes from the cafe right across the street, and got a brown paper bag with cold food and no surup for my daughters pancakes!”

• Excellent location, comfortable rooms; helpful concierge; held our luggage for 4 hours after checkout.
• Lack of service elevator, long waits due to cleaning staff using; did not get a king bed as we were told.

• Very clean and modern, newly renovated, great water pressure in shower.
• Small room but thats what you expect in NY.

“Great hotel, very clean newly renovated with a modern feel. Comfortable bed and linen was top quality. Very reasonably priced for NY hotel that's clean. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Room very well appointed and comfortable.
• Lousy television reception and frustrating remote.

“There are dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery and convenience stores within strolling distance. You are also a fifteen minutes walk from the Museum of Natural History and Central Park. The rooms are small, beautifully appointed and comfortable. Wonderful bathroom and great shower. Comfortable beds with luxurious bedding and plush towels. Individual thermostats with terrific AC. Very quiet and well insulated--the only outside noise we heard was one morning from pile-driving at a nearby construction site. Ice and vending machines are only on the 12th floor. I recommend this hotel.”

• Very clean, friendly staff, and a great location.
• Slow elevators.

“Overall it was a great hotel. For NY the room was spacious, it was clean, and the staff were friendly. The only negatives were the elevators were very slow (some were broken), and parking was very expensive. Also right know there's a lot of construction in the area, which isn't nice to look at. Overall, I recommend this hotel.”

• Convienent location, walking distance to many restaurants, central park, Natural History Museum
• No ingress/egress for cab, baggage unloading elicts horn honking from traffice, irritatiing to say the least.

“Enjoyed our stay, staff was very helpful and professional. Room was spotless and well appointed. Definite repeat customer.”

• Location, it was close to the subway and bus lines. Clean and pleasant.

“Location in a very pleasant treed,quiet section of the Upper Westside. Convenient for subways and buses and taxis were easily available. Enjoyed having Zabar's around the corner and Filene's basement!”
