“Its an oversized close that¿s poorly kept.” Dec 5, 2006 by

“Excellent location for traveling downtown to theater distinct and canal street area. Horrible room. Much too small and needs updating. Front desk staff (Nadine) extremely friendly and knowledgeable about new York and getting around it. I recommend it to friends with reservation. The price is right.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 17, 2006 by

“This hotel is located in a nice, Upper West Side location. Other than that, don't walk away from it--run away. They advertised our room as a "suite". What a joke. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the staff didn't care about anything, the a/c units were full of mold. I could go on and on, but you are better off simply choosing another hotel.” Aug 20, 2006 by

“The hotel was in a very convenient location. For NY City the price was a good deal. Unfortunately the room was very small, some cracks in the walls and previous water damage in the room (bubbles under the paint on ceiling and walls). Overall I would recommend this hotel for the value traveler” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 9, 2006 by

“The location of this hotel is good and convenient, but the hotel is really tiny and not that clean. The blanket had some sort of strange smell. I might not choose such kind of hotel any more.” Feb 10, 2006 by

“There were scuff marks on wall, Poor sink drainage, no tissues or shampoo. No ice machine room was tiny.” Sep 26, 2005 by

“I stayed in this hotel on 9/20-9/22. I booked a family suit for 3 people. Somehow my reservation was messed up, but the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. She gave us 2 rooms, each has a twin size bed and offered me some discount on the second room for the first night. We accepted it, then she moved us to a family suite on 2nd night. Both rooms we have stayed is basic, small and not so clean- they do clean the room but the building is so old, I guess no matter how you clean it, it shows its age. But this hotel is still acceptable to me. But I will suggest you to bring your own sheet, tower and slippers You won't want to walk on the carpet without wearing slippers. I will still recommend it to budget travelers.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
