“This was a great hotel in an amazing location. You just need to remember that it's NYC, and you don't get what you would expect. It would just be an average hotel somewhere else, but in NYC, it's fantastic.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Barry from San Diego, CA
“Great location in Times Square. Walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. Rooms are somewhat small but I heard that is common in New York.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Paul from Atlantic City, NJ
“This hotel was right in the middle of everything in Times Square. It was clean, comfortable and attended by friendly professional staff.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Kurt from Naples, FL
“Good hotel. Comfortable beds and very clean room.” Apr 5, 2008 by
Jon from Fairfax, VA
“I find it amazing that this hotel was in the same rating as the other 4 star hotels that I've stayed at (Marriott Marquis, Royalton, Meridian). The hotel is run down. The service was very bad. The room quality and amenities were much closer to what I'd expect from a 2.5 or 3 star hotel.” Apr 5, 2008 by
Fern from Londonderry, NH
“I stayed two nights with my daughter-in-law and 10-year-old granddaughter and had a wonderful stay. This is a great location for sight seeing. Within easy walking distance of theatre district and 10 - 15 minutes walking distance of many major attractions. It's also convenient to City Sights (sightseeing tours) starting location and to public transportation. The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel (too expensive) but there are plenty of eateries close by - an Appleby's next door, a MacDonald's a few doors away and a Cold stone Creamery right across the street. Also loads of restaurants around the corner on Broadway.” Apr 4, 2008 by
Charlot from Chestnut Hill, MA
“It's a fun place for a family vacation to the Big Apple. The front desk was friendly. The hotel is located in a hectic area of NYC, so don't expect to walk out of the hotel and take a leisurely walk or quick jog.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Gregory from West Chester, PA
“I had two rooms. We took two cars and should have been charged two parking fees. We were charged THREE instead. We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 for check in. We didn't get a room until after 4:00.The experiences above left a bad taste in my mouth.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Gus from Washington, DC
“The room was nice, clean, etc. The service was ok, but my room as well as about 20 other groups was not ready at check in time. The design of the hotel was less than inviting.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Manon from Huntley, IL
“Very comfortable bed, extremely nice staff. Way better than the W New York” Mar 20, 2008 by
Christine from Portland, ME
“It was a great location, hotel staff was kind and helpful from the time we arrived until the time we left.” Mar 20, 2008 by
William from Severna Park, MD
“The hotel itself is very nice. Great location. When we checked in, they gave us a very nice two room suite. After we went out for the afternoon, we came back to the room to find out key didn't work. We went to the front desk and they told us there was a ventilation problem in the room and they had to move us. So we went from a two room suite to a room with two double beds and a LOT smaller. While the hotel gave us dinner for the Inconvenience, it did not make up for the room or their mistake. My question was how did you know there was a ventilation problem unless you went into our room? I got no answer except for an empty stare. They also took it upon themselves to move our personal belongings without us present. My assumption to this was they gave us the wrong room. So the ventilation problem was pure BULL.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Gerri from Rocky Point, NY
“I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton TS. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. It was also located right in the heart of Times Square.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Robin from Minneapolis, MN
“No complaints only noted very dirty hotel windows hampering the outstanding views of the city otherwise the experience location and curious staff and friendly atmosphere were tops.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Mike from West Simsbury, CT
“Accommodations were adequate and location was outstanding.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Cynthia H. from Hudson, MA
“Very nice.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Philippe from Montreal, QC CA
“Great location in times square, nice hotel but not fantastic, very helpful concierges with great recommendations.” Feb 28, 2008 by
Sian from Toronto, ON CA
“Right in the centre of Manhattan, so the location is excellent and very very convenience. Hotel do deserve a true 4 star level. Staffs are friendly and very helpful.” Feb 27, 2008 by
Nancy from Stroudsburg, PA
“Okay for a comfortable room and location is great but the restaurant was plain and the bar way overpriced, it was my birthday and we wanted to have a drink before we left and they charged us 27.00 for 2 shots of sambuca. That is just crazy, even for NYC. The bed was crazy comfortable. They had us in a handicapped room, what if they needed it for someone who was really in need of it?” Feb 24, 2008 by
Samantha from Clifton Park, NY
“The hotel room was very nice, but I had reserved a room with double beds. When I got into the room, it had a queen. I called down to the front desk and they said they would bring up a double bed. When it came up, it was only a single. One of my children slept on the floor that night. The hotel said they didn't have another room or anything else.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Seaford, NY
“In the heart of Time Square but not lit up 24 hours every day. It a little hard to locate because the lobby is 21 stories above ground. Once you arrive though the stay at Hilton Times Square is terrific. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. And the breakfast the next morning in the sky lobby is satisfactory. I recommend this hotel for location, convenience and cleanliness.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Mike from Warwick, RI
“The hotel, the second Hilton we stayed at in New York that weekend, is in prime location for people looking to head to the Theater District or to explore using the Subway System. The hotel itself is pretty ho-hum. There is nothing special about the standard room, but there is nothing to complain about, either. If you like the busy life being right outside your door, this is a great place to be. If you are more in the mood for a quieter Hilton stay in New York, try their location on the Ave of the Americas near Central Park. Spring for the executive stay and they throw in a private lounge and complimentary breakfast.” Feb 10, 2008 by
J from West Hartford, CT
“Would stay there again.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Brad from North Brunswick, NJ
“The location of this hotel is amazing. Madame Toussauds wax museum is about 20 feet to the right, both movie theaters right next door, Broadway a block away, the train station 6 blocks away, and an Applebees connected to the hotel. You talk about location? This was the best. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff (especially the concierge) was very friendly, and the room was nice. We had a nice view; the buildings in the back and the water a distance to the left. You could also see the hustle and bustle below. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. There was also a mini-bar in the room, if you don't mind spending $4 for a Snickers Bar or $6 for a beer (hey, still cheaper than Yankee Stadium). The only two faults I can point out are: A) Yeah it's Manhattan and the Hilton, but man, the food at the restaurant is EXPENSIVE! It's $24 for an egg breakfast, $7 for a side of toast, and about $20 for a Belgium waffle. B) As nice as the hotel beauty products are, the bath towels were rough and almost scratchy. Again, the pros outweigh the cons big time. I give this hotel an A on location alone; the towels and food cost keep it from getting an A+. I definitely recommend.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Carol from Pensacola, FL
“Traveled for short stay in New York City, hotel was a great value, located at Times Square and easy access to subway.” Dec 30, 2007 by
Julia from Mahopac, NY
“Would not be my first choice. Disappointed, no view of Times Square that was promised by Hilton staff. Rooms small but comfortable. Big, beautiful bathroom. Staff very friendly!” Dec 26, 2007 by
John from Fitchburg, MA
“Nice hotel. Right in times square.” Dec 20, 2007 by
Robin from Fairhope, AL
“The Hilton times square is luxury with convenience. Soft beds and great views with all the amenities of home.” Dec 20, 2007 by
Beth from Libertyville, IL
“Overall a good value. I would have been disappointed if it had cost us full price b/c our room was a bit shabby for four stars. The tile had mildew; the rest of the room was really clean and nicely decorated. Location was perfect.” Dec 19, 2007 by
Chandler from Roanoke, VA
“Nice hotel.” Dec 19, 2007 by
Anne from Rochester, NY
“I have to say I expected more for a four star rating. It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel (not clearly indicated) and valet parking was extremely expensive. When we arrived, after a long car trip, we were told in a rather gruff manner, that our room wasn't ready, even though we arrived after the 3:00 check in. We waited in the lobby bar for about an hour before we were called. The room itself was spacious for NY and clean. It's just that I expected something a little more posh given the rating.” Dec 19, 2007 by
Mary from Reston, VA
“The Hilton Times Square was a pleasant surprise! The rooms large and are well appointed, and the unimpeded airy views of the city and Hudson were spectacular. Niceties included a Cuisenaire coffeemaker for two, a very high water fixture with great pressure in the shower, an large deep tub, sparkling white bath and accoutrements, closet full length mirrors, a lighted make up mirror, and a flat panel huge TV! The fitness center had only 5 machines and a weight station in a small room with a semi functioning TV. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the restaurant was a self serve buffet with bumbling wait staff and mediocre fare. Umbrellas supplied by the front desk in case of inclement weather were a nice touch too. Overall, a very pleasant stay.” Dec 17, 2007 by
Chris from Grand Prairie, TX
“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel for the purpose of our romantic getaway. Everything you would expect in a true 4 star hotels, plus great locale. We loved our stay!” Dec 17, 2007 by
Susan from Claremont, CA
“Very nicely located for theater district, and lobby is on the 21 floor, so there is no traffic noise in the rooms, particularly on the inside corridor of the hotel. Nice rooms, but the insulation between the bathrooms could be a bit better. You can hear toilets flushing and even voices between the bathrooms. The rooms themselves are very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.” Dec 16, 2007 by
Marie from Hull, MA
“The hotel was situated in a great location for a tourist as it was convenient to so many things. I think that the street entrance was rather bare and unwelcoming for a 4 star hotel. The fact that the lobby is on the 21st floor was rather weird. The hotel personnel were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I would stay there again.” Dec 16, 2007 by
Ronald from Hayes, VA
“All in all it was a positive experience.” Dec 16, 2007 by
Helen from Edgartown, MA
“The hotel is ideally located for theater going, and very near many appealing restaurants. Its proximity to the subway is also a large advantage. For travelers who don't mind the Bustle and Honky Tonk Ambience of Times Square, it's wonderful. The lobby area is attractive, if somewhat sterile, and our room was large and comfortable and quiet. I would definitely try to book this hotel again.” Dec 14, 2007 by
John from Toronto, ON CA
“Impersonal service, pleasant rooms with comfortable beds but small bathrooms. Best feature is location convenient to Macyss, Broadway theatres, fifth avenue shopping, subways and tourist attractions. Convenient lobby lounge with some of world's most uncomfortable 'designer' chairs.” Dec 13, 2007 by
Kevin S. from Aurora, IL
“Very nice hotel, no major complaints, I would stay again if I got 70% off of standard rate instead of just the 50% we did receive.” Dec 11, 2007 by
Joyce from Mercer Island, WA
“After a horrible 4 night stay at the paramount, the Hilton felt like Buckingham palace. Light, bright and clean. Great, helpful staff. Quiet with comfortable beds I slept like a baby. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.” Dec 10, 2007 by
Jennifer from Absecon, NJ
“Great location just off the Lincoln tunnel and right by times square. Hard to find entrance under scaffolding! Had requested a room with 2 doubles in advance; was not noted with reservation.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 10, 2007 by
Deb from Chicago, IL
“This hotel is in a terrific location and it seems that most rooms have great views because rooms start pretty high up in the building (I think the lobby is on the 21st floor). However, as you might expect from the location, incidentals such as room service are quite expensive. Also, high speed internet is an extra cost and printing in the business center ends up costing quite a bit as well (although it's nice that printing is available).” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 6, 2007 by
Stephen from Belfast, MA
“I had a great stay at the Hilton Times Square. The room was fantastic, just what I expected for the rating. The location was right on Times Square and central to most tourist attractions.” Dec 2, 2007 by
Colleen from Chicago, IL
“The Hilton Times Square is a modern hotel with an exceptional accommodations and city views. The staff is outstanding and even upgraded my room because I had to wait about three minutes to check in. This hotel is perfect for a family visit or a romantic getaway. Four Stars.” Nov 28, 2007 by
Susan from Milwaukee, WI
“The staff was very courteous. Having dessert at the bar (because the restaurant was closed) was tasty, but expensive!” Nov 26, 2007 by
Bruce from Berkley, MA
“This hotel is right on west 42nd street, between 7th and 8th Ave, closer to 8th. You drop of a car for valet parking on 41st street which is one-way going west. The valet arranges a porter to take your luggage to the lobby level. You take an elevator up to the lobby level and register there, and the porter meets you there and you go to your room. The staff promptly put in a rollaway bed without charge or hassle. Our room was fine, nothing luxurious. Checkout was no problem. I didn't go to the hotel restaurant. I would recommend this hotel without reservation.” Nov 23, 2007 by
Penelope from Silver Spring, MD
“The room was exceptionally quiet, clean. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was great. I would definitely stay here again!” Nov 23, 2007 by
Steph from Victoria, BC CA
“Great times square location, friendly staff, and comfortable room. Free 1-800 number calls, 2 dollar local calls. 10 dollar internet charge.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 17, 2007 by

“Great location in NYC and great view of NYC from the room. The room is clean and decoration is neat.” Nov 16, 2007 by
Hope from Highland, NY
“The front desk and the bellmen were courteous and helpful upon arrival. The view was great, as well as the location. The rooms were clean and well appointed, however did not have robes. The Crabtree and Evelyn products were nice. We were very pleased.” Hotel Representatives:
