• No sign at side entrance indicating valet parking at other entrance. Very frustrating and expansive parking ticket.

• Location.
• New type of coffee pot using pods. The coffe was like dish water, had to have room service to get a good cup of coffee.

“Before I use this hotel again I will verify if it is possible to have a regular drip coffee pot in the room, or I will start bring my travel pot that I use in Europe.”

• Concierge was excellent, but didn't treat us a lesser class because of Price.

“We went with a four star, top of the Priceline Hotels, experience. We paid a fair and reasonable price. The tree rooms for the three nights we stayed. We lost all Hilton Honors benefits and extras. In short, we are not inclined to do as we did again. The Hilton Times Square was a 2.5 or 3 star property at best, a bit dated, tired and service attitude was not welcoming.”

• Tiny sink area in bathroom.

“Hard to identify entrance from the street, from either of two entrances. The lobby is actually up approx 20 floors from ground level. The entrance at ground level is a bit confusing- didn't know I was in a hotel. The lobby and bar area have no warmth. Rooms are functional, not at the level I would expect for a 4 star hotel. At the same time, I don't have any serious complaints.”

• The location and the helpfulness of the front desk staff.
• The beds were only double in size and not queen, and the garbage cans were unusually narrow.

“The hotel was clean, I felt safe, and it was in a wonderful location. I do wish the beds had been bigger (a queen instead of a double), and the garbage cans were oddly narrow. Traveling with 3 women, this posed a challenge when getting ready.”

• The Empire State Building was right outside the window and lit up about 20 minutes after we got in our room. AWESOME!
• We had a hard time finding food at 10:00 pm. We ate downstairs and the service was terrible and the food not much better.

“We went through priceline.com and were very happy with the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. However at 10:00 pm when we were starving, we had a very hard time finding food. We ate in the bar, and the service and food were terrible. Little did we know that if we went outside, there were 5 restaurants right there. We would definitely stay again, but venture out for food.”

• The room was very nice and comfortable for an overnight stay.
• Not so customer friendly.

“The hotel is located right off Times Square on 42nd street. The hotel offers very comfortable rooms for the price for an overnight stay or weekend getaway. The hotel is very small and narrow. However if you're just looking for a clean, very comfortable bed and bathrooms for a short stay in NYC, this is a great hotel.”

“This is tucked away but a great location . Rooms were modern and clean . The staff seemed friendly. Overall nicely updated and tasteful decor I'd recommend especially if you want to be central for theater and subway access.”

• Food was ridiculously expensive. $20 for scrambled eggs.

“ Nice clean hotel. Great service, clean spacious rooms. Room had a good view. The only negatives were parking was $42 a day and food was super overpriced. We just went out to eat every meal. ”

“This hotel was rated 4 star and it was indeed a four star. I am sometimes a little leery about trusting Priceline's star rating as they have screwed me over a couple of times. The hotel's lobby is on the 23rd floor and it is very warm and inviting. We all loved the apples that were provided.”

• It was conveniently located and the staff was pleasant and efficient.
• Because the main lobby is on an upper floor, the initial impression is not inviting.

• Location.

“Only complaint was the front desk employee put us in a handicap accessible room despite the fact we aren't in need of this room. By doing so it eliminates the tub and counter space in the bathroom. Other than that the room was very comfortable and the location was excellent.”

• Clean, modern decor and huge rooms for the area.
• The mini bar and hotel restaurant highly priced.

“The room was spotless, large, and inviting. The bed was comfortable, Crab tree and Evelyn products in the bathroom, amazing views from our corner room, and the decor was just right. We could not have been happier with it.”

• Location.
• Floor said non-smoking but had smoking rooms; lobby was not upscale and took too long to get car.

“It really doesn't have an entrance on the street. There were smoking room on our floor and the sign said non-smoking floor so hall stunk of smoke. No apology was made when that was pointed out. Took nearly an hour to get our car from the garage though they claim 30 minutes.”

“Good location but sign hard to see. It's like Times Square grew up around the hotel and blocked out the sign. Room was fairly clean but bathroom needed updating. Sink and tub were hopelessly plugged. The room smelled like someone dumped a bottle of cheap perfume on the bedding to cover up a smell I couldn't quite identify. The stench of perfume was so powerful that I would rather have had a smoking room, or a room that smelled like smoke. Otherwise the hotel was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. The 2 elevator thing was a little weird.

• I really like the atmosphere of this hotel. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet although it was in Times Square

• Location; Hilton's are always reliable.
• Cost of internet.

“A solid choice in the Theatre District. It's a Hilton, so you get large, comfortable rooms, great beds and good service. The internet is pricey, but it's for a 24-hr period. Avoid the overpriced Applebee's next door and head over to 9th for better and more reasonable dining options.”

• The clock radio in my room was out of order.

“I would certainly stay at this NYC hotel again. The room and the common areas of the hotel were very clean. The room service menu selection was fantastic. This Hilton could not have a better location in New York City.”
