• Great location, wonderful views, very comfortable bed.
• It took me 30 mins to get my internet connection working. Nothing else to complaint about.

“I got it 3 days before arriving and I cancelled a previous reservation. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The view was stunning. Perfect for families or business travelers like me.”

• Perfect location! Easy to get in and out of. Staff was excellent!
• Shortage of wine glasses. Could only borrow from lobby bar. Would like to have a fridge that I could use.

• Hilton Times Square has spacious rooms, wonderful beds, pillows and luxurious towels.
• Food and drink is outrageously expensive.

“My daughters and I enjoyed the spacious room with very comfortable double beds and pillows. The room and bath were well appointed and very clean. There were lots of luxurious towels and we enjoyed the complementary chocolates and bottled water. I recommend this hotel highly for location, comfort and cleanliness. Skip the food and drink. They are much too expensive for this 4-star hotel.”

• Entry to hotel is time consuming, a couple of bad apples on doorman staff.

“Our room on the 29th floor was freshly decorated and the king bed as well as the uptown view were both excellent. Most staff were friendly and helpful with a couple of exceptions. The location is very convenient, but it can be a somewhat noisy hotel in a noisy area of Manhattan packed with tourists. Getting to the lobby via elevator from street level was annoying at times.”

“The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They were more than happy to offer us a king bed instead of a full, which the reservation was for. The bedding was comfortable. The bar lobby area and rooms were very clean. The location was perfect! We could walk to theatres and restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The location was convenient and every main attraction was in walking distance.
• The staff was not friendly enough. I have traveled to New York many times and have stayed at other hotels and received better service elsewhere.

“The location was great but if you are looking to get a nice drink at the end of the day before heading out to a show make sure you leave enough time. At the bar in the lobby it took a good 10 minutes or so to get someone's attention and that was only because I got tired of sitting at the table waiting. Once I went to the bar their was absolutely no eye contact when I ordered my and my friends drink and got a quick, you are sitting at the table right completely brushing me off before I could even order my appetizer. Once the drinks came we ordered an appetizer and waited for about 15 minutes before I had to tell the waiter that if it was going to take longer to forget it because my friend and I needed to catch a show. We had just ordered a dip with chips nothing that should take a long time to make. The bar area was not so busy and there were 2-3 staff members working it and the service was terrible. I have been to New York City many times and have to say that I would never stay here again. It's so important that when a guest has been out all day walking or shopping that they have a place where they can sit for a minute with a drink, relax, and regroup.”

• There was a constant noise of water running in the bathroom.

• The fact that getting to street level requires ride on two different elevators could be a problem for some guests.

• The hotel was ideally situated in Times Square. We could conveniently access the subway, restaurants and different areas of the city.
• They had two sets of elevators to access the floors. Construction on gym made it inaccessible.

“It was overall a great experience. The staff did a great job at rushing when they realized we might be late for our flight home.”

• The location was near my work.
• I struggle to believe this was ever a 4 star hotel, and I can say that it is definitely not one now.

“I find it amazing that this hotel was in the same rating as the other 4 star hotels that I've stayed at (Marriott Marquis, Royalton, Meridian). The hotel is run down. The service was very bad. The room quality and amenities were much closer to what I'd expect from a 2.5 or 3 star hotel.”

“I stayed two nights with my daughter-in-law and 10-year-old granddaughter and had a wonderful stay. This is a great location for sight seeing. Within easy walking distance of theatre district and 10 - 15 minutes walking distance of many major attractions. It's also convenient to City Sights (sightseeing tours) starting location and to public transportation. The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel (too expensive) but there are plenty of eateries close by - an Appleby's next door, a MacDonald's a few doors away and a Cold stone Creamery right across the street. Also loads of restaurants around the corner on Broadway.”

“It's a fun place for a family vacation to the Big Apple. The front desk was friendly. The hotel is located in a hectic area of NYC, so don't expect to walk out of the hotel and take a leisurely walk or quick jog.”

“I had two rooms. We took two cars and should have been charged two parking fees. We were charged THREE instead. We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 for check in. We didn't get a room until after 4:00.The experiences above left a bad taste in my mouth.”

• The location was excellent. The Hotel is very nice
• The staff and their indifference to the customer.

“The hotel itself is very nice. Great location. When we checked in, they gave us a very nice two room suite. After we went out for the afternoon, we came back to the room to find out key didn't work. We went to the front desk and they told us there was a ventilation problem in the room and they had to move us. So we went from a two room suite to a room with two double beds and a LOT smaller. While the hotel gave us dinner for the Inconvenience, it did not make up for the room or their mistake. My question was how did you know there was a ventilation problem unless you went into our room? I got no answer except for an empty stare. They also took it upon themselves to move our personal belongings without us present. My assumption to this was they gave us the wrong room. So the ventilation problem was pure BULL.”

• Just a note maybe time of year really dirty windows throughout the hotels beautiful views of the city distracting but I would imagine difficult to.

“Okay for a comfortable room and location is great but the restaurant was plain and the bar way overpriced, it was my birthday and we wanted to have a drink before we left and they charged us 27.00 for 2 shots of sambuca. That is just crazy, even for NYC. The bed was crazy comfortable. They had us in a handicapped room, what if they needed it for someone who was really in need of it?”

“The hotel room was very nice, but I had reserved a room with double beds. When I got into the room, it had a queen. I called down to the front desk and they said they would bring up a double bed. When it came up, it was only a single. One of my children slept on the floor that night. The hotel said they didn't have another room or anything else.”

• The beds were so comfortable, and the linens used on the beds were luxurious!
• The bathroom door was pulled open and closed. It was heavy and closed on my finger

“In the heart of Time Square but not lit up 24 hours every day. It a little hard to locate because the lobby is 21 stories above ground. Once you arrive though the stay at Hilton Times Square is terrific. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. And the breakfast the next morning in the sky lobby is satisfactory. I recommend this hotel for location, convenience and cleanliness.”

• Somewhat odd check in from 41st St. Not a lot to complain about.

“The hotel, the second Hilton we stayed at in New York that weekend, is in prime location for people looking to head to the Theater District or to explore using the Subway System. The hotel itself is pretty ho-hum. There is nothing special about the standard room, but there is nothing to complain about, either. If you like the busy life being right outside your door, this is a great place to be. If you are more in the mood for a quieter Hilton stay in New York, try their location on the Ave of the Americas near Central Park. Spring for the executive stay and they throw in a private lounge and complimentary breakfast.”

• Amazing location in the heart of Times Square.

“The location of this hotel is amazing. Madame Toussauds wax museum is about 20 feet to the right, both movie theaters right next door, Broadway a block away, the train station 6 blocks away, and an Applebees connected to the hotel. You talk about location? This was the best. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff (especially the concierge) was very friendly, and the room was nice. We had a nice view; the buildings in the back and the water a distance to the left. You could also see the hustle and bustle below. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. There was also a mini-bar in the room, if you don't mind spending $4 for a Snickers Bar or $6 for a beer (hey, still cheaper than Yankee Stadium). The only two faults I can point out are: A) Yeah it's Manhattan and the Hilton, but man, the food at the restaurant is EXPENSIVE! It's $24 for an egg breakfast, $7 for a side of toast, and about $20 for a Belgium waffle. B) As nice as the hotel beauty products are, the bath towels were rough and almost scratchy. Again, the pros outweigh the cons big time. I give this hotel an A on location alone; the towels and food cost keep it from getting an A+. I definitely recommend.”

“Would not be my first choice. Disappointed, no view of Times Square that was promised by Hilton staff. Rooms small but comfortable. Big, beautiful bathroom. Staff very friendly!”
