• Wonderful location, Excellent security. Courteous staff.
• Bathroom was extremely small and poorly designed, lacked convenient towel bars & toilet seat was ill fitted.

“Nice size room and comfortable bed, large desk for business use or makeup essentials. Seriously small bathroom for this quality level of hotel. Enjoyed our stay.”

• Room was excellent, great view, friendly staff.
• Street level entrance not clear of people.

“The rooms was comfortable with a great view and a king sized bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had the breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant and was surprised at how good the food was. The street level entrance located facing Times Square should have been cleared of people hanging out, this made getting into the hotel an unsavory experience.”

• Room was good size, bed was very comfortable, and concierge was excellent.
• There was no mirror in the room, only in bathroom so we had to take turns getting ready and could not sit down to put on makeup.

“The staff was very friendly. The concierge helped us plan what we did everyday. The bed was great and the Subway very closes.”

• Efficient, good location, clean, simple ck inn/out.
• Location on 42nd is where the crazy young crowd hangs.

“Overall fine. Everything walking distance, great to have a back entrance on both streets due to the congestion and crazy crowds on 42nd. Very clean and very easy check inn and check out.”

• The room was large for NYC, clean and well appointed.
• Lobby renovations at 2AM!

“I would have given a much higher rating if it were not for the lobby renovations at 2AM. They were jack hammering up the floor in the middle of the night. The noise was so loud my room was shaking. When we called the front desk they said "you shouldn't be able to hear that from your room".”

• Rooms were very clean and staff was extremely accommodating.
• Room was a long walk from the elevator.

“Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating upon check-in. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Loved the flat screen TV! The view couldn't have been better from our room with an awesome New York skyline and Times Square visible right below. We will be staying at this hotel again!”

• The bed was very comfortable. Nice view of the Empire State Bldg.
• There was not enough shelf space in the bathroom/shower.

“Overall great experience. The sky lobby concept was a little weird. You enter the hotel on ground level but have to an elevator up 20 or so floors to get to the lobby. Then after checking in, you have to take another elevator to your room. The room was huge by NYC standards. There wasn't enough counter or shelf space in the bathroom to put things down. Those are the only complaints we had.”

“Our room was not being cleaned properly during our stay. They left dirty dishes from room service in our bathroom the entire stay (2 days). The room did not have a dresser to unload our suitcases. We took things out of our suitcases as we needed a change of clothing.”

• Very convenient to all Broadway theaters and many restaurants.
• Had to go around the block to find valet to take the car in very heavy traffic area.

“The location was ideal for the Theater District. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. The desk provided adequate work space if needed. The brunch in the morning was very good with a lot of variety.”

“Location can't be beat, literally two right turns off the Lincoln tunnel to the hotel door at Time Square, a great base to explore New York with well appointed, very quiet rooms. Tubs/showers could use some updating, but the large flat screen TV's were wonderful.”

• Great location, helpful, knowledgeable staff. clean. I would (and have already) recommend this hotel.
• The phones did not work in our room. It made it impossible to communicate with room service and the front desk.

“We were very happy with the location of this hotel. We always felt safe and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The phone in our room did not work. It made it impossible to get room service and difficult to call for our car or a bellman. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I would stay again. soon, I hope”

• Hard to get to the lobby - concierge disappeared a few times.

• It took me 30 mins to get my internet connection working. Nothing else to complaint about.

“I got it 3 days before arriving and I cancelled a previous reservation. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The view was stunning. Perfect for families or business travelers like me.”

• Shortage of wine glasses. Could only borrow from lobby bar. Would like to have a fridge that I could use.

• Hilton Times Square has spacious rooms, wonderful beds, pillows and luxurious towels.
• Food and drink is outrageously expensive.

“My daughters and I enjoyed the spacious room with very comfortable double beds and pillows. The room and bath were well appointed and very clean. There were lots of luxurious towels and we enjoyed the complementary chocolates and bottled water. I recommend this hotel highly for location, comfort and cleanliness. Skip the food and drink. They are much too expensive for this 4-star hotel.”

• Entry to hotel is time consuming, a couple of bad apples on doorman staff.

“Our room on the 29th floor was freshly decorated and the king bed as well as the uptown view were both excellent. Most staff were friendly and helpful with a couple of exceptions. The location is very convenient, but it can be a somewhat noisy hotel in a noisy area of Manhattan packed with tourists. Getting to the lobby via elevator from street level was annoying at times.”

“The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They were more than happy to offer us a king bed instead of a full, which the reservation was for. The bedding was comfortable. The bar lobby area and rooms were very clean. The location was perfect! We could walk to theatres and restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The location was convenient and every main attraction was in walking distance.
• The staff was not friendly enough. I have traveled to New York many times and have stayed at other hotels and received better service elsewhere.

“The location was great but if you are looking to get a nice drink at the end of the day before heading out to a show make sure you leave enough time. At the bar in the lobby it took a good 10 minutes or so to get someone's attention and that was only because I got tired of sitting at the table waiting. Once I went to the bar their was absolutely no eye contact when I ordered my and my friends drink and got a quick, you are sitting at the table right completely brushing me off before I could even order my appetizer. Once the drinks came we ordered an appetizer and waited for about 15 minutes before I had to tell the waiter that if it was going to take longer to forget it because my friend and I needed to catch a show. We had just ordered a dip with chips nothing that should take a long time to make. The bar area was not so busy and there were 2-3 staff members working it and the service was terrible. I have been to New York City many times and have to say that I would never stay here again. It's so important that when a guest has been out all day walking or shopping that they have a place where they can sit for a minute with a drink, relax, and regroup.”

“The hotel was great. The room next door (adjoining door) was horrible. The people were very loud from midnight until 5:30 a.m. I was exhausted. Security coming up at 2 a.m. did little to stop them.”

• It was very quiet considering the location!
• There was a constant noise of water running in the bathroom.

“Extremely convenient location in the middle of the action. Very quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely eat the breakfast buffet at the restaurant rather than ordering room service, which is very expensive!”

• Great location with larger guest room than I've normally seen.
• The fact that getting to street level requires ride on two different elevators could be a problem for some guests.

“Our stay here was enjoyable with the only real detraction being the entrance to the hotel (difficult to find). Staff was very helpful and we had no problems with the room. Good experience.”
