• The staff was very friendly and the breakfast crew at The Grill were above expectations.
• I did not like the noise from adjacent rooms. Running water and voices from nearby rooms woke me up early and kept me up later than desired.

• Breakfast buffet, work out center-both were outstanding.
• Dinner was too expensive, Request for workout center spa, and sauna to stay open later.

• It's location was perfect and it offered and oasis of comfort.
• Bathroom exhaust fans didn't work in either room, it was very steamy after showers.

“Based on the fast noisy phase of New York, it felt like home when we got back everyday. It is a very nice hotel and every time I visit I'll stay there.”

• Comfortable bed.
• Internet access was not working in my room and the staff did nothing to help they said I could use the business center at $5 per hour.

“I personally do not like Marriott hotels. They tend to charge for the extras that are included in the room charge at other chains (including the Marriott Courtyards), such as internet access, and coffee in the lobby.”

• It was very clean and comfortable. Everything about it was top-notch.
• I always get confused getting on and off the main road [95/80].

• Great location. Super staff, very knowledgeable and helpful.
• Call me old fashioned, but internet access at hotels should be free. (Was 9.99 for 24 hours).

“The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. I would imagine that in a hotel of its quality, the internet access would be free. The staff was very friendly at all hours of the day/night and were very willing to help me with directions or whatever else I may have needed. The wake up service on the room phone didn't seem to function properly, but the girl at the front desk made sure I got a ring on time in the morning. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.”

• The hotel is truly a 3 star and close to Manhattan.
• The hotel is located right off route 80, while very convenient for travel, not many other amenities within walking distance.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was convenient to Manhattan, pleasant staff, nice health club spa next door and decent restaurant on the premises.”

• The comforter on my bed had a smushed choc. something on it!

“I was pretty upset in the morning I awoke.I checked in during the early evening and went to dinner. I returned and folded the comforter down to the end of the bed (thank goodness). In the a.m. I was spreading the bedding back up and noticed something on the comforter. the comforter on my bed had a smushed chocolate something on it, I then looked and saw choc. bits mashed into the rug. I will now carefully review my hotel room at all times to make sure it is clean!”

• The front desk was rude and not helpful in the slightest.

“Upon arriving the hotel and setting we noticed the hotel and setting was beautiful. Thank you. When we checked in we were met by staff at the check in counter. He did not make eye contact the entire time we were there and then asked for a driver's license. About 30 seconds later he said, "Did you understand what I said?" We both looked at him with a question in our eye. He said, "I asked for your credit card as well." Obviulsly we did not hear his request. very rude and condesending. So after check in was complete my mother asked where the best place for us to park was based on our room location. She asked, "Should we park on the side?" He responded, "You could." This banter went back and forth for a minute and he would not give a straight answer. He was totally rude and unprofessional. He is not the first person Marriot should want to be the first contact with their customers. I will stay at a Marriot again, but i think mgt should know.”

• the bed was comfortable and the hotel was beautiful
• the TV had crappy reception for local stations and internet was not free

“The Marriott At Glenpointe in Teaneck is a beautiful hotel conveniently located. Free parking is a definite plus these days, but everything else in the hotel will cost you. For a quick one night stay in the area, I would have been offended to pay full price, even though the bed was very comfortable. ”

• The hotel was beautiful, full service - restaurant, gym etc and staff was very helpful.

“This Marriott is lovely from the lobby to the rooms. The room was huge with a full-size sofa and coffee table in a sitting area. For a small one time fee a refrigerator and microwave were provided. Since I stayed 20 days that was very helpful. It is 7 minutes to the GWB and NYC and 5 min from Teterboro Airport. Highway access was unbeatable. The gym and pool were being renovated at the time with the expected completion at the end of Feb. 2005”

• Nighttime Front Desk Asst Mgr tried to help but ruined my evening and did not make any apology or concessions

• The staff were very accommodating & customer focused & knowledgeable
• Nothing.

“This hotel is directly off the highway and very accessible. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff I spoke to during the day and evening were both knowledgeable and accommodating. My relatives & I were staying there and needed to forego staying an additional night because we needed to get on the road to avoid the Blizzard of 2005. The staff made arrangements for us to leave earlier than planned and took care of the billing arrangements without a problem.”

• The staff kindly provided me with a free toothbrush and Wall Street Journal.
• The room was next to the electrical closet.

“I had a pleasant stay at the Marriott Teaneck. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful-they even provided me with a free toothbrush (because I forgot my own) and complementary Wall Street Journal, upon my request to purchase one. The check-in staff also accommodated my request to be below the 8th floor and changed my assigned room. I liked the room I received, since was very spacious and had a great mattress, but the room was next to the electrical closet.”
