• Excellent rooms and fitness facility.
• No swimming pool or moderately priced breakfast.

• Excellent value for what I bid, free parking, close to inexpensive restaurants and gas stations.
• Breakfast buffet was expensive however it was to be expected for a hotel of this caliber.

• Convenient location.
• Horrible elevator system, very dirty and be upgraded.

“Overall, the stuff were friendly. The location was good. However, the elevators looked pretty dirty and old. The room was spacious, but sheets did have things on them that needed to be replaced. This hotel is nothing more than a solid 3 star, which I don't understand why the cost of staying per night is so high?”

• Very convenient location; wonderful staff; exceptionally clean; free & safe parking.
• No safe available in the room; but there are safety deposit boxes available at front desk.

“This was a fabulous find! Well worth the money, in comparison to what other lower-end hotels were asking for a far lesser quality stay. The location was extremely convenient. The bus stop was the first one to be dropped off and the last to be picked up, so there was virtually no wait. The amenities were exceptionally clean (and they had Bath & Body Works toiletries). The parking was free, and very safe. The staff was courteous and friendly. They have a fridge in the room, so you can buy food/snacks and keep the cool, and thus allowing you the flexibility to budget your meals more. There was no safe available in the room, but there were safety deposit boxes available at the reception desk that we made use of. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Lovely room, accommodating staff, very spacious rooms, comfortable beds and lovely decor. Easy access to Manhattan (15 minutes) by car.
• Bus to Manhattan never showed---not the hotels fault.

“This was a lovely and easy access place to stay just outside the bustle of Manhattan. Easy to take a car into the city, but watch out for the New Jersey transit to Port Authority. The bus never showed, and we worried we'd miss the theater.”

• Food ordered in the lounge took 1 hour for a sandwich to arrive.

“When I extended my stay, I was told that I could keep the room and the next day, they made me change rooms and I did not get even a "we're sorry". They acted as if I deserved it because I paid less for the room.”

• The bed was attractive and very comfortable.
• The walk from the parking lot was a bit long.

“I stay at this hotel occasionally and always find the staff friendly and courteous. The rooms are always well maintained and the hotel is convenient to NYC and the NJ Turnpike.”

• Hotel provides clean spacious accommodations.
• Bathroom was spacious however the door clearance was a little tight.

“The Marriott at Glen Pointe provides updated spacious accommodations. For a standard room, it was without question one of the largest and most comfortable. The room was clean, had quality linens and was nicely furnished/updated. The hotel is also just a short commute to Manhattan. ”

“We have stayed at this hotel before and have enjoyed the service. Our only problem was the dinner. There was not much choice on the menu. The food was not good, yet the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are well kept and very clean. Please put us in this”

• The staff was very friendly and the breakfast crew at The Grill were above expectations.
• I did not like the noise from adjacent rooms. Running water and voices from nearby rooms woke me up early and kept me up later than desired.

• Dinner was too expensive, Request for workout center spa, and sauna to stay open later.

• It's location was perfect and it offered and oasis of comfort.
• Bathroom exhaust fans didn't work in either room, it was very steamy after showers.

• Comfortable bed.
• Internet access was not working in my room and the staff did nothing to help they said I could use the business center at $5 per hour.

“I personally do not like Marriott hotels. They tend to charge for the extras that are included in the room charge at other chains (including the Marriott Courtyards), such as internet access, and coffee in the lobby.”

• It was very clean and comfortable. Everything about it was top-notch.
• I always get confused getting on and off the main road [95/80].

• Great location. Super staff, very knowledgeable and helpful.
• Call me old fashioned, but internet access at hotels should be free. (Was 9.99 for 24 hours).

“The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. I would imagine that in a hotel of its quality, the internet access would be free. The staff was very friendly at all hours of the day/night and were very willing to help me with directions or whatever else I may have needed. The wake up service on the room phone didn't seem to function properly, but the girl at the front desk made sure I got a ring on time in the morning. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.”

• The hotel is truly a 3 star and close to Manhattan.
• The hotel is located right off route 80, while very convenient for travel, not many other amenities within walking distance.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was convenient to Manhattan, pleasant staff, nice health club spa next door and decent restaurant on the premises.”

• The comforter on my bed had a smushed choc. something on it!

“I was pretty upset in the morning I awoke.I checked in during the early evening and went to dinner. I returned and folded the comforter down to the end of the bed (thank goodness). In the a.m. I was spreading the bedding back up and noticed something on the comforter. the comforter on my bed had a smushed chocolate something on it, I then looked and saw choc. bits mashed into the rug. I will now carefully review my hotel room at all times to make sure it is clean!”

• The front desk was rude and not helpful in the slightest.

“Upon arriving the hotel and setting we noticed the hotel and setting was beautiful. Thank you. When we checked in we were met by staff at the check in counter. He did not make eye contact the entire time we were there and then asked for a driver's license. About 30 seconds later he said, "Did you understand what I said?" We both looked at him with a question in our eye. He said, "I asked for your credit card as well." Obviulsly we did not hear his request. very rude and condesending. So after check in was complete my mother asked where the best place for us to park was based on our room location. She asked, "Should we park on the side?" He responded, "You could." This banter went back and forth for a minute and he would not give a straight answer. He was totally rude and unprofessional. He is not the first person Marriot should want to be the first contact with their customers. I will stay at a Marriot again, but i think mgt should know.”
