“If you absolutely need to stay near Wall Street, or belong to their club, then I can understand why you might stay here. Otherwise, I would not recommend it. The rooms were attractive, but are very small. Our AC was broken not only in the first room that we checked into, but the second room that we were put in. When we called the second time to report the problem, the front desk clerk acted inconvenienced. Overall, it took us over an hour to get the situation resolved.” Sep 7, 2008 by
Julie from Plantation, FL
“The hotel was conveniently located in the Financial District and very accessible to public transportation. The rooms are always very clean, water is available at no charge for guests which is always nice in NYC. Their workout facilities are always very clean and well equipped. We would definitely stay here again for future travel.” Sep 5, 2008 by
A from Elma, NY
“The worst hotel.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Paula from Indianapolis, IN
“Club Quarters at Wall Street has a very convenient location. Our room, and the public areas, were clean. Although our room was very small. I traveled alone with two children, and always felt safe in, and around, the facility.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Graham from Toronto, ON CA
“I would highly recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in downtown Manhattan. The hotel is seconds from Wall Street and the Wall Street Subway station. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk to all downtown amenities and services. The hotel was clean, no bed bugs, bed was comfortable, complimentary bottled water was provided and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only picky issue was the shower (other than the faucet and shower head) appeared quite old and did not have the same refinement as the rest of the bathroom and hotel room in general.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Stacey from Bennington, NE
“Reasonably nice & good location for business but not great for leisure - disappointed in housekeeping - towels were thin & there weren't enough.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Nickie from Scotia, NY
“Hotel was very nice and convenient, however room placement right next to air compressor outside made for a loud night.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Eric from North Hollywood, CA
“A quiet, comfortable room, spacious by New York standards and well furnished for business travelers. Practical service, without pampering.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Ricky C. from Montreal, QC CA
“We got bumped up to an Ambassador Suite, so the room was spacious.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Rebecca from Richmond, VA
“The hotel was nice enough. It had nice fixtures and furniture, but the rooms were way too small. Also, the location was super far away from most other things in Manhattan.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Pamela from Rochester, NY
“Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. Had everything we needed.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Kevin from Ny, NY
“Room was disgusting, shower floor was like a truck stop, I had to buy a can of Lysol and spray the entire room and cleaned the shower floor and bathroom.” Aug 23, 2008 by
Angela from Everett, WA
“I called to see if they were family friendly, if they had two full/queen beds per room, and if they equipped to have a family with five children. They said they were. With roll-away beds, we could barely walk around the room. The staff answered all of our questions about NYC attractions incorrectly (like what time did things open, how to go, etc) which was frustrating. Requests for blankets, sheets and pillows for the roll-away beds were never delivered and we had to go hunt them down in the hall closets. At check-out we requested a luggage cart for our many bags but they never came. Finally, we made three trips and got it all down stairs (not easy for young children). I would not return. It would be great for business people but certainly not for traveling families. By the looks of things and the conditions of the neighborhood, I think they were desperate for $.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Dorise from St. Catharines, NU CA
“Great hotel for visiting the South section of Manhattan.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Sharyn from Alexandria, VA
“Good location if you do not care about being in the center of "it all." The staff was helpful, the room was clean & comfortable, several Subway stops are nearby.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Cicely from Dayton, OH
“The hotel was far away from Penn Station, I expected the drive to be relatively short, but it was not. The hotel itself was very cramped, if you are looking for luxury, you have come to the wrong place. The staff was very helpful and friendly.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Jeff from Owen Sound, ON CA
“All in all a good place to stay, the first room I had was beside the condensers outside very noisy. The second room was great except for the fact the blinds were broken in some places.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Krista from Philadelphia, PA
“For the price and location near a Subway stop, I think this is a convenient and affordable option in New York. We only stayed one night but I would consider staying again for a longer trip.” Aug 19, 2008 by
James from Washington, DC
“Excellent hotel, well-located, and reasonably priced.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Rattan from Boston, MA
“I liked the hotel but the location was way Downtown, in the Financial District. Getting anywhere was costly and time-consuming. Next time I will stay either Midtown or a little further up in Downtown.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Jen from Nyc, NY
“Good for business travelers as long as not in this tiny room.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Rick from Chicago, IL
“The pros: Location close to Wall St. (walking distance to piers and ground zero). Cheap price (cheap for Manhattan, anyway.) Secure (need keycard to enter building and run elevators). The cons Small rooms (only 2 single beds, no doubles). Unresponsive staff (they missed our wake-up call, also had to call twice for towels).” Aug 3, 2008 by
Jeremy from Atlanta, GA
“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, we had never been to the city and they gave us great directions from the Subway on how to get there, they had a taxi waiting on me very early in the morning to the airport, and they gave me a shaving kit no charge, the food was a little pricey but good.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Marco from Carol City, FL
“The hotel is clean and modern. only bad part is that the rooms have 1 bed and also room a bit small compared to other hotel rooms.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Jeff from East Alton, IL
“The location of the hotel was the best. The rooms were kept clean and the staff was excellent.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Steve from Newtonville, MA
“I was very disappointed here. This was not a 3-star hotel. The room was barren, freezing, and poorly lit. Quite depressing, and it smelled like stale cigarettes.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Flavia from Champaign, IL
“The hotel is well located, but the blinds in the room were broken. The staff did not fix it and we had to wake up with the early light.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Curtis from Golden Meadow, LA
“Good. Would recommend this location to my friends who visit New York.” Jul 3, 2008 by
James from Drexel Hill, PA
“This hotel did not meet my expectations in any way, shape or form. Furthermore I hoped that the room would be much more memorable. Instead it was tiny and had a funny stench.” Jun 28, 2008 by
Tom from San Francisco, CA
“The room was way too small for 3.” Jun 28, 2008 by
Sammy from Jackson, MS
“Very good location. Staff was very nice and if you want to sleep well at night without sirens, this is a great location.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Kristopher from Studio City, CA
“Located in the Financial District, the hotel is clean, comfortable, with a great, efficient staff and several good, easy to use features. Its location is a little far from the buzzing of Manhattan's busier sections, but it is quiet and a good place to stay.” May 31, 2008 by
Beth from Herndon, VA
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were both very basic and small, but we just needed a place to sleep and shower, so it served our purposes. There was a closet in the hall where we could get filtered, cold bottled water, and that was wonderful after walking around NYC all day. Very close and convenient to get onto the subway.” May 28, 2008 by
Anthony from Ellington, CT
“The hotel was in a good location and had a decent size room. The complimentary bottled water dispenser was a great touch. We had asked for extra washcloths twice but never got them. The staff was nice.” May 28, 2008 by
Shelly from Ellicott City, MD
“I thought the hotel was ok. It reminded me of an older renovated apartment.” May 23, 2008 by
Lurie from Hoboken, NJ
“The price was good for the quality of the hotel. The rooms are slightly on the small side but it was very clean; which matters to me more. The front desk was helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others for a short stay.” May 22, 2008 by
Megan from Alexandria, VA
“When checking in, valets watched me unload 4 bags and made no effort to assist in me getting them up the stairs/check in. Front desk staff was curt and room was tiny, especially bathroom.” May 21, 2008 by
Heather from West Hartford, CT
“Hotel was exactly where we needed to be, room was clean (furniture could be moved to create more space), brought our own pack and play for our 18 month old and it worked out great.” May 8, 2008 by
Jason from East Berlin, PA
“Check-in staff wasnt the friendliest, maybe having a bad day; it was convenient for our needs while we were in town. Had to schedule late check-out and they were extremely accommodating even after I didnt get back until after my late check-out was scheduled. Small rooms, if you're there for just a couple nights its great.” May 7, 2008 by
Jenny from Falls Church, VA
“The hotel was good overall. The room was small, but not too small. The decor of the room was up to date and comfortable. The location was pretty good as well - not far from the subway and near some night spots downtown. I was perfectly happy with this hotel.” May 7, 2008 by
Joseph from Syracuse, NY
“We were provided with a small, smoking room with a view of the air conditioning unit for the hotel, which allowed little to no daylight. Apparently a non-smoking room was unavailable, and the smell of smoke, in both our room and the entire 5th floor, was prominent.” May 2, 2008 by
Keisha S. from Randallstown, MD
“Overall a great value for NYC - very clean, stylish and nicely sized room/suite and bathroom. Great customer service, though it is somewhat do-it-yourself (kiosks for check-in); free WiFi and computer terminal in clubroom just off the lobby is a nice touch, as is the complimentary bottle your own water station on your room floor. Word of caution, very challenging to get to (especially if on a tight time schedule) because of its location (Several Street closures on the weekend and heavy congestion during the weekdays). Also uptown train does is not always running so that is another thing to factor when trying to get to other parts of the city. Cabs were relatively (and surprisingly) easy to find either right outside the hotel or just a few blocks away.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Alice from King Of Prussia, PA
“Hotel is very clean and well appointed. Rooms are very small and only meant to accommodate two people. Staff was just ok - not very helpful.” Apr 28, 2008 by
MariaGT from Dallas, TX
“I recently stayed at this hotel and it was very surprising to find such a great rate at such a great place. The staff was very friendly and always courteous. The room was bigger than I thought and was very clean. They had 2 computers for guests to use down close to the lobby. One was out of commission when I got there but the other was working fine and was very convenient. They have a 30 minute limit which is very good that way you won't have to wait long in case you needed to use it. There wasn't much to see around the fin. District but we walked 2 blocks to get a taxi (they do not call cabs, only car service) as there never seems to be any that go by that hotel and it is about $12-15 dollars for the taxi to take you to Time Square. Last time I stayed at the Westin hotel in times square and it was very noisy even though we were up high in a club room. The Club Quarters hotel is so quiet at night, I loved it! I could actually sleep! There was no construction, no noisy people, no anything to keep me awake, thank goodness! I very much enjoyed my stay. They also have a binder which has several restaurants, one was a 24 hour deli on Water St. which has some awesome hamburgers and fries, and they also serve sandwiches and have a ton of bakery items. This is a good place in case you get hungry in the middle of the night although it's like 7 blocks away, but it's worth it.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Jason from Canyon Country, CA
“Aside from its great location, the hotel lacked any charm or class, a far cry from a typical 3 star hotel as it was advertised. The room was small and cramped, with just enough room to squeeze between the bed and your suit case. The closet was conveniently converted into a bathroom, while an Ikea style wardrobe substituted for the closet. The bed was sub par, and unless you enjoy the feeling of coil springs jutting into your back, the floor would provide a more comfortable nights rest. Need an extra blanket? Don't call the front desk, instead a "guest request closet" located in the hallway is supposed to have just what you need, but did not. One feature I did find quite convenient is that you could request an exercise bike be delivered to your room as an alternate to the fitness center. However, it would take a miracle of science and engineering to fit a stationary bike in the room. The overall problem is that a 3 star hotel is advertised, but a 2 star experience is what you get.” Apr 18, 2008 by
Jennifer from Calgary, AB CA
“I will never stay at this hotel. Staff broke into our room and searched our bags and provided no reasonable excuse for doing so. They declined a package, twice, that carried two ball tickets for us. The only reason we traveled to NYC for the weekend. I have now contacted NYC police to lodge a formal complaint against the hotel. Overall, one of the worst experiences I have ever had traveling.” Apr 18, 2008 by
Steve from New Boston, NH
“Convenient location with a distinctive quality. Pleasant scale and nicely appointed room. Liked the chilled purified water available in the hall.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Pierre from Montreal, QC CA
“Nice rooms with contemporary look and practical. Location ideal for Wall Street, but a bit out of the action for leisure.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Ellen from Elmhurst, IL
“Hotel is in the financial district which means the area is extremely quiet at night and during weekends. The hotel was very lovely, modern, comfortable, upscale, but the rooms are a bit small. However, we were offered an upgrade for both nights at a small fee that room was amazing! The hotel is close to all great areas & Subway. Staff was helpful and courteous. We will definitely stay there again!” Apr 16, 2008 by
David from Arlington, VA
“Not a great location (hard for even cabs to find). Small rooms. No bathrooms in the lobby. Not sure this is a 3-Star hotel.”
