“Entrance faces previous site of World Trade Center (Ground Zero). Easy access to all forms of transportation and walking distance to some great Lower Manhattan locations. The hotel room was clean, large for a NYC hotel, and had a great aroma.” Dec 1, 2009 by
Paul from Montreal,Canada
“Our stay at the Millennium was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were modern and clean. We had a room at the front of the hotel facing Ground Zero. This was very impressive. The view was still beautiful.” Nov 30, 2009 by
Joe from Norwich,CT
“Very nice, lobby/entrance had a very festive atmosphere, especially for thanksgiving holiday!” Nov 24, 2009 by
Michael from Montreal,Canada
“The staff was not very up front about the inconvenience due to construction noise nor offered to move us when we mentioned it as a problem.” Nov 17, 2009 by
Patrick from Chandler,AZ
“Overall very good. Would stay there again. Friendly staff. But only one restaurant. Construction noise outside during the day can be an issue. Friendly staff. Good location for lower Manhattan venues. Very good value for what I paid.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Dena from Highland Park,NJ
“Lovely room, great pool, good location. Lots of noise from WTC site.” Oct 16, 2009 by
Uncle Duke from Akron,OH
“A 3-3.5 star hotel at best. The Millennium Hilton is centrally located in downtown Manhattan and easily accessed by subway service, although during our stay, was occasionally disrupted by construction on several of the lines, requiring us (my wife and I to walk several blocks). The hotel is nicely appointed with large flat screen televisions and has average viewing fare. The rooms are comfortable, even though the air conditioner seemed to stay on or come on despite having changed the thermostat several times. The marble floor and Silestone granite counter top in the bathroom was attractive and complemented the fixtures nicely. The shower curtain, however, was too narrow and allowed water to spray out onto the floor. The hotel is directly across from Ground Zero, and depending on the floor you stay on, may offer a nice view of the construction (if you're interested in watching the progress) or a breathtaking view of the New York skyline. We didn't eat in the restaurant during our most recent stay, although have in the past. The food is fairly pedestrian for having a chef on staff and is clearly over-priced, even for a hotel restaurant in New York (which is a rationale to charge twice what other area restaurants charge). The lobby bar has a nice selection of bourbon, whiskey, and vodka, although also over-priced, even for NYC. Addition of locally brewed beers and spirits would be nice.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Naomi from Big Bear City,CA
“The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Especially when asking questions about which subway trains to catch. Cost wise, The Millennium through Priceline was very affordable for NY. The hotel lobby was very stylish and upscale. A bit small, but very nice. Our room was incredibly large. It felt like a suite. The view from our room was spectacular. Ask for a corner room, and you will have an amazing view of downtown NY. I woke up every morning looking out at the NY skyline. Room was very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable.” Oct 8, 2009 by
Sandy from San Francisco,CA
“The hotel is beautiful. The lobby, bar, restaurant, pool, gym and business center are very modern, clean and attractive to all ages. Me and my husband have enjoyed staying there as if we were at home. The rooms are beautiful, perfectly sized with a great view, modern TV technology and great bathrooms with tub (which is a must for me). I loved the gym area too and using the pool and sauna was an extraordinary experience!” Oct 1, 2009 by
Cosme from Ozone Park,NY
“Stay was great, accommodating staff and horrible views.” Sep 30, 2009 by
Sandra from New York,NY
“Great hotel. Clean, spacious room, great amenities. I would definitely recommend.” Sep 28, 2009 by
Steve from Miami,FL
“Great stay at this property. Other than the not so great location (next to ground zero and lots of construction in area) I would recommend. The views from my room were stunning ( high flow Worth view of the Hudson and city!” Sep 17, 2009 by
WJ from Toronto,Canada
“This is a very well kept, well located business hotel. Worth the money spent on Priceline.” Sep 10, 2009 by
Robbie from Meadowbrook,PA

“Its a very nice hotel to stay in, but not worth the money. There was nothing special about it in many ways, which was a shame. I still had a wonderful stay but wouldnt go back there again.” Jul 22, 2009 by
Harry from Lido Beach,NY
“Have stayed here many times, always enjoy my weekend getaway.” Jun 17, 2009 by

“Everything was great- except the concierge. He was awful. Nice ambiance, and great that the hotel had a pool/sauna!” May 30, 2009 by
Tom from New Hyde Park,NY

“Very good. Clean.” May 26, 2009 by
Danielle from Arlington,MA “The valet parking was on a different street that what they told us when we called. There were 3 of us, and they gave us a room one very small king size bed, that we couldn't even put a cot in. Other than that, it was a great location. Awesome views of WTC memorial, Hudson river and other buildings. We were going to NYC to see the statue, so only a 10 minute walk to Battery Park.” May 21, 2009 by
Nancy from Cmbridge,Canada
“The hotel was lovely and the location was good. There was a terrible security breach with an announced person with a passkey and we had some of our shopping purchases go missing. The hotel did nothing to recover the items for us other than ask the housekeeper if she took them. Had I taken merchandise out of the room I would have been charged for it. I guess theft is only possible if it happens to the hotel and not the patron. We truly felt violated.” May 21, 2009 by
Holly from Calgary,Canada
“Great for business travelers, but wouldn't stay there again for a vacation trip.” May 7, 2009 by
Alicia from West Fargo,ND
“We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Far bigger rooms than expected compared to many NYC hotels. We didn't need much, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location to grab the subway and fun to see the progress at the WTC across the street. The area quiets down on the weekend, but during the week it is hopping! Definitely would recommend it to anyone traveling business or leisure!” May 5, 2009 by
Andrea from Cambridge,MA
“Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want to be right next to the world trade center site/Century 21.” May 1, 2009 by
Russ from Sherborn,MA
“The hotel was nicely appointed, cosmopolitan and in a good location. The view from the room was extraordinary. For the price I was able to get at Priceline, it was an excellent facility.” Apr 21, 2009 by
Peii from Westford,MA
“The room is nice and clean. It's in the great location near the subway. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I did not like too much is that our room was right faced the WTC construction site. It would be nice with a reminding from a staff when we checked in.” Apr 19, 2009 by
Kevin from Springfield,VA
“This hotel upholds the high quality of the Hilton brand with location and service, but it does not have a unique wow factor. It suitably met our need for a less than 24-hour stay in NYC.” Mar 29, 2009 by
Anja from Leimen,DE
“The hotel provides an excellent stay. It is clean and comfortable - has a smart business charmer. We loved the beautiful view over the Hudson river. Next to the Hotel one finds shops, delis and a starbucks coffee. The only thing which is a bit negative is the building site at ground zero, that we hared sometimes in the morning.” Mar 4, 2009 by
Janice from North Vernon,IN
“Staff was very helpful & courteous. Beautiful lobby and entryway to halls. Room was pretty small but very clean.” Feb 19, 2009 by
James from Tiburon,CA
“Excellent business hotel as well as a Financial District/Ground Zero Manhattan location. Limited dining choices.” Jan 9, 2009 by
John from Washington,DC
“As mentioned above, hotel seemed to be understaffed and simply was not of a quality level implied by its name or its star level. A la carte pricing is fine if the quality of a hotel merits it, but for a hotel that amounted to little more than a 3 star in terms of quality and service, charging for things like internet seemed unnecessary.” Jan 8, 2009 by
Allen from Philadelphia,PA
“This hotel is located directly across the street from the site of the World Trade Center, which now is a giant hole in the ground and the biggest construction site in all of Manhattan. This means it is very loud! I was forced awake in my 18th-floor room early in the morning by a machine whose purpose seemed to be to pound the ground as loudly as possible. This hotel may be fine for those who must rise early in the day, but for a leisure traveling looking forward to sleeping late, it is terrible! Guests will experience overwhelming noise beginning early in the morning that will make sleeping impossible.” Jan 7, 2009 by
Angela from Toronto,Canada
“Conveniently located in downtown Manhattan, just steps from the metro station, this hotel met my expectations for quality of room and service. It's a bit more upscale than a business hotel, and fine for leisure stay as well. The lobby is small and can get crowded at times. Being across from the World Trade Center where there is now ongoing construction means that there is noise starting every weekday morning that may make it hard for guests who like to sleep in. The noise is less noticeable if you are on a higher floor. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.” Jan 2, 2009 by
Eve from Wellesley,MA “In spite of the location (across from the Ground Zero construction site), we had a great time. There wasn't any noise from construction and we found the location quite convenient because you can catch subways for the East and West sides. The people at the hotel were very helpful and they allowed us to bring our kids without extra charge. All in all, a fun trip.” Dec 22, 2008 by
Lawrence from Boston,MA
“Great location and staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. This is a functional business hotel but not one that I would bring my spouse to given all of the options you have in New York city.” Dec 11, 2008 by
Kathie from Oceanside,CA
“Hotel was very nice but accross the street from ground zero, very hard to get to due to road closures.” Dec 5, 2008 by
Craig from West Hollywood,CA
“Very nicely appointed hotel with comfortable rooms and really nice design elements throughout.” Nov 30, 2008 by
Gail from Bethel,CT
“We were extremely pleased with the friendly staff, the cleanliness and newness of the hotel. Our room looked straight down into Ground Zero which elicited some emotion, yet it was amazing, too.” Nov 26, 2008 by
Mounirah from Gaithersburg,MD
“Overall this was a nice hotel. Love that it is right by Century 21 and not to busy. The skyline view from our room was amazing. The hotel staff was courteous and friendly. The construction did not bother us at all.” Nov 13, 2008 by
Louie from Winthrop,MA
“The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, there was a lack of late night dining in the immediate area of the hotel and the construction noise was annoying.” Nov 7, 2008 by
“Overall my experience at the Millennium Hilton in lower Manhattan was terrific. The rooms where well appointed and the perfect size. The views of the river and surrounding skyscrapers were phenomenal, as well as the proximity to local shops and sights. We beat the TKTS lines up in Time Square by using the lesser-known location on Front Street in South Street Seaport. My only disappointment with the Millennium is that you had to pay extra to use a computer to access the Internet. Other then that the staff was very helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay very much.” Nov 4, 2008 by
Harris
“The hotel is very nice- great if you are coming into NYC on PATH from Jersey, or are doing business on Wall Street. Rooms were nice with a large flat screen TVs. Staff was friendly, and hotel is kept up well. Only possible negatives are that not much is open in financial district on weekends, and there is constant construction going on outside at WTC.” Oct 29, 2008 by
Eric
“We had a very fine experience. The room was great. The pool was very good for NYC. It's rough driving to the hotel because of Ground Zero construction. Definitely ask for a room away from construction.” Oct 22, 2008 by
Brenda
“The location is great. Our hotel room overlooked ground zero and gave us an overwhelming appreciation of the devastation that took place. Hard to describe, but I'm glad we saw it first hand. They have a great bar overlooking ground zero and there was construction noise. Would stay again and my hats off to New Yorkers.” Oct 13, 2008 by
Phuong
“There's on going construction across the street that will keep you up past 1 am. Internet is not free. Cable TV couldn't make it pass 50 channels. Standard room was 1 king size bed. Their drinks & snack left in the room was ridiculously priced. If you wanted to stay at a decent place that accommodated for internet, TV and closer to midtown, this is not the place.”
