• It was in a great location and was very nice.

“We were VERY pleased! This hotel was much more then we expected! For the price we paid it was amazing! It was only a 20 minutes ride into NYC and had a bus that runs every 20 minutes! And the bus catches right in front of the hotel. It was great! The rooms were very clean and nice and the staff was accommodating. We would recommend this hotel and Priceline!”

• Convenient to NYC. Area around hotel was fine.
• Dingy, musty smell to room, no pool and the
  hot tub.

“This is the first time I've used the Name You're own Price and when I found I was staying at a Marriott Courtyard, I was pleased. However, as a frequent business traveler, I was somewhat disappointed with the condition of the hotel. It wasn't bad, mind you. It was just less than I expected and when there was no pool for the kids, that just added to the disappointment.”

• It's a Marriott!
  Always loved Marriott properties.
• Bedding could be a little more plush!

• The front desk clerk at check in.

“Room with double beds right next to the service elevator with a view of the side of the parking garage - and I believe this was because of the request - he was very rude. We were not requesting anything special - a view or location of room - just for the king bed - his reaction was bad.”

• Convenient location to NYC, easy access to bus transportation, conveniently located next to Walmart and Sam's Club.
• Expensive restaurant and no continental breakfast.

“Great place to stay to save money when visiting New York City. The bus stop located just outside our hotel allowed us easy access to the Port Authority station in Times Square, just a 10-15 minute ride away (other than rush hour). Located in a beautiful, safe area and in walking proximity to a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, this hotel offered us everything we were looking for on our trip to NYC. Along with all of these great perks, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs.”

• The hotel was very clean, there was wireless internet in the room and also a public space to use computers and printers.
• The continental breakfast was not included.

“All in all my sister and I were very satisfied with the hotel, although it is hard to get to when exiting the highway we were greatly satisfied to find that it was surrounded by a good choice of restaurants. Not only was the service great at the hotel, but also at the restaurant chilies.”

• I would have expected a refrigerator in the room. Slight must smell in halls.

“The hotel was close to the Meadowlands, which is why I selected this location. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, but I would have expected a small refrigerator and no ice machine was located on my floor. Lobby was small and unattractive.”

“This hotel is about 10km from Manhattan, easy to get into the city. The hotel is in a good location and safe. Parking is free, big surprise and security is there 24/7. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that it had slow elevators, aside from that it was a great hotel!”

• Currently undergoing some renovations.

“Everything from the staff to the room to the location was excellent. Much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location couldn't have been better. There's a bus stop right outside that will get you to NYC in 15 minutes for 3 bucks. Free parking was a plus and there's a sports bar right around the corner. Great stay!”

• It was nice to have private parking and the hotel manager granted us a late checkout.
• The location is absolutely inconvenient. Very difficult to find.

“Once we found the hotel, check in was painless. We parked close to the back door in a private lot. The room seemed to have a strange smell at first but it wasn't bad. We got over it. The shower was awesome and the room was clean.”

• The staff was friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and well lit. The flat screen TV was a hit.
• The hotel's back entrance has brick pavers that are uneven. I twisted my ankle a couple of times.

“The hotel is great for travelers. Close to stores and Rte 3. The beds were comfortable and even the bathroom was spotless. It was a great room for the price. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel.”

• The rooms are very clean and nice size.
• The staff is dishonest. We lost $1500 cash in an envelope left on the desk without much effort from management to help the traveler.

“My guests are higher government officials from China. They thought US is a very honest country with honest hotel staff. They were totally shock and disappointed that their envelope left on the desk with $1500 cash in it, no management staff tried to help them to recover the envelope and with no courtesy return calls.”

“In the strip mall Harmon Meadows is a fancy hotel. Nothing to walk to except a few chain restaurants. One minute drive to big chains Sam's club and a small mall with a dozen stores and grocery. You can catch the bus into New York fairly easily; nothing to see in this suburban neighborhood.”

• The staff was very helpful in assisting us where the city was concerned via transport, maps, etc.
• Trying to find its location, it is hard to find when not a local person, as the roads all merge in a difficult system.

“Friendly reception, very accommodating, and cheerful. Aided us with trying to get into the City with transfer to station; maps; verbal instructions etc. They happily parked and brought the car when we needed it - which was a good thing as we may have lost where to be even in that. Local Bus transfer just around the corner - cheap and less hassle; and there were a few eating houses that stayed open till late, which accommodated our hunger pains. The place was clean and comfortable - the room brilliant for our needs. Only one small gripe is that there was just a coffee "cup" machine - missed the good old tea, and Hot chocolate facilities!”

• The locations was perfect for traveling to and from New York City.
• Horrible beds and heating system!

“This hotel is in a perfect location for travelers looking to visit New York City. There is a bus #320 that stops at the corner and takes you into the city every 10-15 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean, well lit, and well maintained. My only complaint lies with the heating / cooling system and the beds. The beds are hard! They are super uncomfortable. And the heating system is very old with no temperature gauge. We were either melting or freezing through the nights. We finally gave up, shut the thing off, and just slept with 2 blankets. However, these were minor inconveniences when compared to the overall benefits of this hotel. It was a great location with many dining and shopping options close by. Front desk staff were extremely helpful with directions and information.”

• Nice location, easy transportation to NYC, nice rooms, very clean.
• One of the front desk staff was very bad, others are nice.

“At the time of check-in, the front desk staff rejected our request in a very rude manner. Then she said double rooms are not available, very rudely. Their standard guest rooms should have a sofa bed in it. But one of the rooms she gave us did not. The hotel is nice and clean (actually I would rank it 3 star), but our stay was not that pleasant. After I check out, I found I left my cell phone charger in the room. I returned to the front desk and spoke with a gentleman. He was nice and very helpful!”

“For convenience sake, this is the only way I would come to visit NYC. I love being able to park, bus into the city and feel safe when you get off the bus. I also love the complex with restaurants, etc so easy access. Overall, I would definitely come back to stay, especially for short stays.”

• Big spacious room compare to hotel in Nay.
• Stated high speed internet in every room, but it hardly work, has lots of problems.

“Hotel looks new, clean and has spacious room. It claim to have high speed internet for every room but could not get it work. Check with the receptionist, he said we need router. They have to take down our credit card no. Or deposit of. If not return or breakdown, we will be charge for the amount. Took the router and try it, still not working well. No internet can be access in the room. The only computer working is the one that is in the lobby.”

• Wifi last for just one day, unclear breakfast service (wasn't sure it's buffet or just simple restaurant), TV menu was down.

“It was very clean and well-prepared for one day night for any businessperson with free one day wireless Internet service with single use coffee ready inside restroom. There's a lot of restaurants around this hotel either you can walk or take car for 5 min. Just one thing to remember, bring a detailed are MAP or make sure some GPS system is available with you at the moment it will be really EASY to LOSE your way back to hotel.”

• Location closer to Hwy. N.Y & Mall.
• Back door never lock.

“I loved the location very close to the hwy., downtown N.Y but, not family friendly you have to know what you are doing. However, there is a lot of restaurants and stores less than five minutes away to get anything you might need. The first night was terrible, there were some college kids having party on my floor and you can imagine the noise! Otherwise great!. I will stay there again.”

• The room was extremely nice and very clean. The bedding was beautiful. The shuttle service was excellent.
• The room smelled musty. The front desk was not very helpful when asking questions.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. The bedding was luxurious and the rooms were very clean, although our had a musty smell and the windows could not be opened to air it out. The front desk was not very helpful when asking for directions. They were more interested in socializing with each other. The shuttle service was fantastic. We never had to wait more than ten minutes and the drivers were always very pleasant. Overall the hotel was very nice.”

• Very cheap, shuttle bus into NYC stopped right outside.
• Commuting back from NYC late at night was a pain.

“This hotel's greatest strength is its relatively close proximity to New York City. The shuttle bus stops right outside from 6 a.m. until midnight, although the commute takes a little while. Just make sure not to come back during an off hour, because cab fare from the city will cost you at least $60.The neighborhood is safe and quiet, though, and the hotel was very clean and nice. That's surprising considering the room was DIRT cheap--I got 5 nights here for the price of 1 night in midtown Manhattan. It was a steal!”

• Clean, centrally located to restaurants, freeways, etc.

“Basically a good hotel. Ran into a couple issues: We were told at check-in that breakfast was complimentary, but breakfast actually cost $10/person . Also, we attempted to arrange 2 beds per room. Recommend getting things worked out ahead of time.”
