“It was very convenient to New York.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Alan from Biddeford, ME
“Handy to Sports Complex. In a Mall area so dining is convenient. The carpets in the room had major spots. Really needed a cleaning!” Jul 3, 2008 by
Gary from Akron, OH
“Very nice but there are problems. Nice and spacious rooms. Relatively clean. Some items in room did not work or work as well as they should. Enjoyed the free daily breakfast-nice selection of items and they stay open for a good length of time. The maid inadvertently left the door to my room opened after she cleaned the room. I did not discover this until I arrived back at the hotel in the evening around 11:30 pm. Thankfully nothing was stolen from the room and no one was actually in the room. When I mentioned this serious problem to the front desk, they responded in a totally inappropriate and inexperienced way-the gentleman suggested that I left the door open prior to leaving for the day and forgot that I did so. When I assured him that I did not leave the door open, he said, "no need to worry, nothing ever happens in this hotel". This was a very poor handling of this potentially serious problem. Any security breach like this should be handled in a more professional manner.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Stephanie from Patton, PA
“Rooms were suite-like, spacious and well maintained with coffee maker and mini-fridge. Beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast provided until 11 AM in lobby restaurant but area could have been cleaner. Would not hesitate to stay here again.” Jun 9, 2008 by
Tami from Sidney, OH
“Stayed here for our first trip to NYC - had excellent transportation into the city. Very roomy clean room (we had a suite) and the kids loved it! We stayed the previous night in Philadelphia at Double tree hotel and had a horrible stay there (dirty room and linens, unfriendly rude staff, only 1 bed for 4 people) so this La Quinta was a much needed relief to us all! Will stay here again if ever in Jersey for sure.” May 25, 2008 by
Riikka from Westfield, NJ
“I couldn't recommend this hotel anyone traveling with children. There was too much smoke on the hallways and while using the AC in the room, the smoke got even there. If you're a smoker, you'd like this hotel, I guess.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Ken from San Mateo, CA
“This hotel is ideal for staying outside of the very expensive hotels in Manhattan, the 320 bus stops outside takes 20 minutes to the port authority at 42nd street, it offers a full American buffet breakfast, and the rooms are large and very well maintained, the front desk staff were very helpful and the maid service was excellent.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Russell from Kennett Square, PA
“This is a great choice, all suites; easy access to Manhattan, good restaurants and movies nearby, the staff had an excellent attitude and were very helpful. This hotel is my new first choice when I return.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Ashlei from Tucson, AZ
“Pretty good hotel. All of the rooms have been renovated and they rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and the bus stop to New York is right across the street. The employees were also very helpful and friendly. However, we did have to call down and remind them to bring extra towels and blankets after we first requested them. When the blanket came, it was full of holes and crusty. Also, their internet wasn't reliable and they are unable to assist you on site. They will give you a phone number to call and they will help you troubleshoot. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!” Mar 10, 2008 by
Zhuo from Rochester, NY
“Nice, clean, good enough for a family with senior and child. The staff is nice. Food is good. Travel is convenient. Although I couldn't connect with wireless network, I got newspapers.” Mar 6, 2008 by
Willie from Brooklyn, NY
“Made adjustments to the reservation due to health issues. Was assured by staff that these needs could be meet. They failed to rectify the situation. Did not even try to accommodate me. All they said was sorry. Did not have a pleasant stay will not go back even with the pleasant staff.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Brett from Queen Creek, AZ
“I wanted a room with 2 beds so me and my partner could sleep comfortably, but you booked us a stupidly small pullout couch bed, I can not tell how upset I was. Then I had to pay an extra $125 to get 2 beds. That is a total scam and I would not risk using you again. I travel for a living and I have to always have 2 beds.” Feb 4, 2008 by
Richard from Decatur, IL
“Was sent to 2 different rooms before I arrived at one that was ready to be occupied. The first had not been cleaned yet and the second already had a guest staying in the room!” Jan 31, 2008 by
Umit from Atlanta, GA
“While I was checking in I requested a room with two bed, they told me we cant, because you made reservation one king bed. Me and my friend stayed in one bed for two days. I asked them to change this room many times but was not helped by the hotel. In third days one really kind hotel reception worker help us and we changed our room.” Jan 30, 2008 by
David from Callicoon, NY
“3 stays here, and wireless internet problems in hotel each time (sometimes fixed, sometimes not). Staff passes the buck, only morning staff seems to know what's going on.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Suzy from Wesley Chapel, FL
“Great place to stay.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Steve from Bethlehem, NH
“Although a little confusing to reach the hotel by auto, it is well worth the effort. I found the staff pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and everything worked. A free newspaper was provided. The free continental breakfast was much more elaborate than expected, featuring waffles, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. Many dining options available nearby and shopping, movie complexes, etc minutes away. Overall I give this hotel a high recommendation.” Jan 12, 2008 by
Marc from Blakeslee, PA
“This hotel is tough to find the entrance to if you do not know the area. The signage is horrible for the Harmon Meadows. The hotel itself is very nice buy has a horrible parking arrangement. The rooms are real spacious and have been recently renovated. I would recommend.” Jan 12, 2008 by
Melanie from Columbia, SC
“This hotel currently undergoes renovations, which makes it a great bargain. We were not disturbed by any construction work and actually had a brand-new room for a fraction of the regular price. Thus the pictures do not reflect the new look of the hotel. The new rooms are bright and clean with a pull-out sofa for a third/fourth person (incl. two TVs). Parking is free and the bus connection to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (Times Square) is directly in front of the hotel and runs very frequently and until late at night. The complementary breakfast is plus as well. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.” Jan 11, 2008 by
Calvin from Stone Harbor, NJ
“Their was a party in the room next door with kids until 3 am. The breakfast was cold and their was a small fire on the roof while we were there that made us late for a business meeting in the city. They stuck us on a floor with construction going on that made it so that we had to ask to get to our room past wallpaper workers. Two times our key did not work and we had to go to the front desk to have it reactivated and the hotel did not even know we were staying two nights even though they showed the payment for two nights. The manager was apologetic and somewhat helpful. Thank You.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Dan from West Palm Beach, FL
“There was dirty underwear in my room that was not mine!” Jan 2, 2008 by
Debbie from Casselberry, FL
“Everything about this hotel was excellent from cleanliness, friendliness, and service. The free breakfast was great. The only problem we had was getting back to the hotel after going to the meadowlands for a night game. No shuttle service and taxis are difficult to get and very expensive! I would suggest they make exceptions for their guests on such occasions even if they have to charge for the service, we would have gladly paid as would've others. Would definitely stay there again when in that area. It was easy to get to NYC and to the airport.” Dec 17, 2007 by
Jim from West Chester, PA
“A perfect location for visitors to NYC at a fraction of the cost of Manhattan accommodations.” Dec 14, 2007 by
Brian from Putnam, CT
“The location to the New York area is ideal. Convenient to shopping and dining the only negative to this hotel was that the internet did not work 2 of the 3 nights I stayed.” Dec 9, 2007 by
Vicky from Blackfalds, AB CA
“At check in the staff wasn't all that helpful, however later and the next morning, the staff was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel.” Nov 17, 2007 by
James from Green Forest, AR
“The hotel was nice. Bus stop right across the street so it was an easy 20 minute ride to the port authority by time square. Had an awesome view of empire state building from room. Free breakfast was great (eggs, bacon, French toast etc). Had a couple issues with the room. Remote for TV in living room did not work. The was only 2 plug ins behind heavy dresser that held TV, fridge and microwave. Very low water pressure to take shower. Handle on toilet broke. Lucky if you could get more than 1 square at a time of toilet paper it was so thin.” Oct 15, 2007 by
Robert from Sparta, NJ
“This hotel is in terribly shape. The first room the staff given me did not have any pictures on the wall, curtain was missing hanger clips. It looked like a prison. The second room that they gave me had a couple already in the room. Great security in that they gave me a key that opened a room that was occupied. Terrible experience. Makes me wonder about.” Jun 24, 2007 by
Tommy from Pittsburgh, PA
“The hotel was oversold and when we arrived they said they didn't have any rooms. Made us wait over 2 hours before we could get into our rooms at 10pm.” Apr 13, 2007 by
Yang from Charlottesville, VA
“This is a good hotel, but it takes us nearly an hour to locate it with gaps.” Oct 30, 2006 by
Jim from West Chester, PA
“Use your savings to splurge on a great meal in NYC or to see some of the sights. Many dining options nearby as well as a small mall with supermarket, Wal-Mart, and Sam's club. The Kids will enjoy the indoor pool,” Oct 28, 2006 by
Jerry from Goleta, CA
“Excellent hotel for the price. This should be a 3 or 3-1/2 star hotel.” Oct 2, 2006 by
Werakul from Tulsa, OK
“Good location but staff could be friendlier The hotel charges the room stay on my credit card even though it's paid. I have not called them for a refund. Hopefully it won't be too much hassle.” Aug 2, 2006 by
Joe N. from Centreville, VA
“The hotel staff was helpful, great parking. and free. I wouldn't pay over $100 to stay there again. We didn't see how it was categorized a suite though a lot of space. One of two phones didn't work and wasn't fixed. Walls in room are peeling off behind curtain. Internet was innop. When the sofa bed is out you cannot watch TV located on the floor, should be at eye level. A/C didn't work throughout hotel except in room. Very slow elevators for just the 9 floors (there were 3 I think). Lastly, terrible directions listed on the property web site. I advzd them of this at c/in and the knew of it but didn't seem to care.” Jun 3, 2006 by
Halbana from Omaha, NE
“I had a high expectation for this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel couldn't match my expectation. Wireless Internet didn't work during my stay (2 days). And there was no business room available, where I could access the Internet. One of the two elevators was also out of order, without any sign that somebody was trying to fix it. It took so long to wait for an elevator. A/C in my bedroom wasn't cold at all. The room wasn't very clean. I found an old chewing gum on the carpet. I think this hotel should have a lower rating. I found several broken door handles and switches.” May 24, 2006 by
Jeon from Fairfax, VA
“I had a plan to visit NY city, but this hotel is so far from NY city. Nevertheless, I satisfied this hotel.” May 23, 2006 by
Lorraine from Wantagh, NY
“Convenient, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Hotel location wonderful, across from a mall.” May 11, 2006 by
Theresa from Winslow, ME
“We arrived around 4:30 only to find they did not have a room available for 2 nights. Finally after approximately 1 hour they found a room, the only catch was we had to move into a different room for the second night. We called the front desk 3 times to ask for bedding for the sleep sofa. Elevator not working 2nd day.” May 2, 2006 by
Caprice from Warwick, NY
“Overall it was fine, the location was great bath room was a bit old.” May 1, 2006 by
Gregalan from Stockbridge, GA
“Great Location. Wonderfully convenient to Manhattan by private or public transportation. Poor restaurant and room service (menu). No business center, Lap top went out had to go to another hotel property for computer and copies.” Apr 29, 2006 by
Ken from Hughesville, PA
“Excellent hotel. We'll be going to seven more Yankee games this year I wouldn't mind if we got this hotel every time.” Apr 14, 2006 by
Dan from Spokane, WA
“Very convenient access to NYC via a public bus that stops across the street from the hotel.” Mar 28, 2006 by
Juliet from Beverly Hills, CA
“I loved my stay there. it was easy for me to get to NY on the bus. I loved the FREE shuttle ride to the tax free outlet mall. The suite was nice and very clean. Very wonderful and convenient alternative to staying in New York. You get more for your money.” Mar 26, 2006 by
Erika from Stamford, CT
“This was a great hotel. The rooms were nice, clean and ready at check in.” Mar 21, 2006 by
Danielle from West New York, NJ
“I didn't feel that the hotel was worth the money I paid. The room service charges were ridiculous and the orders were wrong a few times. Items were missing out of my hotel room and the room decor was not nice. I will not return to this hotel.” Feb 20, 2006 by
Joe from Beverly Hills, CA
“The price was reasonable and the location close to high ways and shopping areas.” Feb 8, 2006 by
Luis from Atlanta, GA

Carolyn from Hoboken, NJ
“The staff and everyone was great. The hotel was very clean.” Nov 21, 2005 by

“With high rates in Manhattan, the Prime suites is a great alternative, only 25 minutes away via New Jersey Transit Bus that stops right in front of the Hotel. It is a true two room suite hotel.”
