• It was a nice looking hotel and there was a sushi place nearby.
• The chicken had the plastic cooked to it, and they didnt even comp it--even though I couldnt eat it. Not so great.

“This hotel was ok; I wanted a romantic room for my husband and myself. It wasnt the room I expected, it was SUPER far away, and we ordered room service and the chicken had this plastic cooked onto it by accident so I couldnt eat it, and they didnt even care. They offered me (a diabetic whom I told them) a free dessert to make up for it.”

• Well decorated, nicely appointed hotel. Front desk and Bell staff good.
• 2 adults and 2 children cannot sleep comfortably in double beds. Need Queen's.

“Again, The room for 2 adults and 2 children is just a little too small, including the 2 double beds. Really need queen beds as an option. Didn't notice it till the last day but the ceiling above the shower head was dripping. Only to find that there must be a leak from the above floor. The ceiling was ready to fall apart and come down. This should have been noticed by the maid staff or another employee and repaired before renting us this room. Room should have at least one extra roll of toilet paper available. We ran out. This should not happen. Finally, I had consistent problems with my room card/key. It didn't work most of the time in my room door but worked flawlessly for access into the exercise room. Go figure? Overall, disappointed. Probably won't go back.”

• Comfortable. Quiet location, yet convenient to Garden State Parkway.
• Noisy hallways late at night.

“Nicely decorated, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Coffeemaker. Quiet location, but convenient to Garden State Parkway and Panera bread. Noisy in the hallways late at night, due to weddings/parties at the hotel that weekend.”

• The bar was pleasant the first night we were there.
• There was a crowd from a wedding I think on our second night and the bar crowd overflowed into the surrounding areas making it hard to go in and out.

• Lovely room and soothing color scheme.
• Bartender less than wonderful.

“Nice rooms, good common areas, ok atmosphere at restaurant. But hugely overpriced drinks and food. Two coffees cost $10! But overall safe, clean, well-maintained hotel. We would happily return.”

• Very clean!
• Waiter was extremely rude in restaurant. Spoke to manager but he wasn't much help.

“The hotel was very nice. Staff checking into hotel was also very nice and accommodated our needs. Had a bad experience at the hotel restaurant. Waiter was very rude and acted like he did not want to be bothered waiting on us. We ended up speaking to the manager but he really did not help. We had to leave and eat in the bar area. It was very disappointing to be staying in such a nice hotel and have the staff treat us so poorly.”

• Was just a great experience the staff was so friendly and helpful.
• My room was 20 miles from the lobby or a vending and had to walk 4ever, no yes channel.

• Quiet, large rooms, and warm pool.
• Exercise room says closes at 12 but was asked to leave at 10 PM. No ice available. No Disney channel.

“Large, clean rooms, and friendly helpful staff. Quiet compared to the nearby Marriott which is always noisy. Very satisfied with this hotel.”

• Clean, pleasant, well groomed grounds, friendly staff.
• Next door guests partied until 2 am and kept me up.

• It was cheap.
• No amenities, room is poorly situated in what felt like the basement service area,

• They were very accommodating when we had a problem with our original room.
• It was fine.

“Lovely wooded setting. Extremely comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Quiet, in spite of the many weddings that occurred the weekend.”

• Great mattress and quiet sleeping
• Hot tub was broken and ice machine was also broken

“Front desk was very polite and helpful - we were not able to use the hottub nor were we able to use the ice machine on our floor. Room was very clean and new mattress was terrific!”

“They first put us down into the lower level near the pool, The halls had dim lighting, smelled damp and musty. I asked to be moved to a higher floor which was much better. ”

“The Hilton in Woodcliff Lake, NJ was fine once the staff fixed the sink drain stopper (which didn't work) and replaced the showerhead (which leaked badly). Repairs were done promptly. The restaurant is average, at best. The pool is fine, the food prices in the gift shop are very low, but the in-room movie prices are very high.”

“This hotel is an excellent value. Very large property and close to our children's home. The hotel is very clean and has every feature you would want in a first class property. Our room was very clean and quiet. We had breakfast and the food was wonderful. The hotel is near NYC and quite a few shopping malls. Very convenient location.”

“It's a very nice hotel and a good place for children--usually my touchstone. The room was large enough to set up the port-a-crib without feeling squished. The indoor pool is easy to find. There is even a bit of playground equipment out back, and a trail. Breakfast is a little pricey, though (especially compared with places that have free continental breakfast).”

“The courtesy of the staff at the front desk was higher than a 10 (10 being the highest). They were most helpful to us as this was our first time at the hotel and in the area. This hotel is on my go again list when needed.”
