• The bed was very comfortable and easy to sleep in.
• The restaurant was not worth the money.

“Overall the hotel was pretty nice. It had convenient options such as a fitness center, indoor pool, and small market to buy food at any time of the day. The bed was very comfortable. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very nice, very nice shower with great shower head. The food at the hotel could have been better, not really worth the price they charge.”

• The prices in the restaurant were a bit high.

“The hotel was a typical courtyard Marriott. Nice and clean. Friendly front desk staff. Requested a small fridge for the room and it was brought up in 10 minutes. Excellent location for giants stadium or NYC-close enough to Newark airport. Good restaurants nearby which deliver right to the hotel.”

• The room was very nice and spacious and parking was plentiful.
• I asked the man at the front desk if they had toothpaste and he said "yes" and then didn't give me any.

“This hotel was very nice, but it depends on why you are going there. If you have a car it is convenient and close enough to NYC and other stops, if you don't have a car, not as convenient.”

• It was clean and everything worked - lights, heating, bathroom, TV, phone, internet access, etc.
• Bedding - strange design. Appeared to have Target logo on it. Looked like they worked out a deal with Target to get it for free.

“The Courtyard By Marriott Meadowland Lyndhurst is conveniently located where Route 3 meets Route 17, just 5 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel. It's ideal for the casual or business traveler. The rooms are spacious and clean and offer all that one needs. One nice feature are the digital wall thermostats - you can keep the temperature exactly where you want it. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and they honor the Do Not Disturb sign if placed on your door. Although you would not call this a luxury hotel, chances are you will feel like you got more than your money's worth. All in all, a good quality hotel.”

• Reasonable priced store, cooperative staff, nice pool and fitness area, spacious room, shower head.
• I would like to see a fridge and microwave in the rooms.

“The hotel staff was very knowledgeable and informative about the area and travel and was very friendly. Great location for Giants stadium and also on the bus route to NYC which was less than 20 minutes by bus and only cost 3.20 per person each way.”

• We were not able to obtain a room with two beds. I shall make the request now when I book the accommodation. Highways are confusing in the area.

• There was nothing...great place!

“We booked this hotel sight unseen and unknown. It proved to be a gem. We were a 20 minute ride into the city. The bus stops directly in front of the building and returns to same. We aere able to leave our car in the hotel parking lot at no charge for the day. We had a Park Avenue experience at a fraction of the price.”

• very conveniently located, easy to get to from both sides of highway
• nothing and I really mean that

“the best location in the Meadowlands area, easily accessible from both sides of route 3, from route 17, Turnpike, and local roads...nice lobby, good parking, 7/11 1 minute away by car...most importantly the rooms were very nice, spacious, great beds and pillows...a relief from getting a hotel located on Sheraton Plaza which is a royal pain to get to”

• Lousy location, intersection of RTE 17. hard to get to and from.

“I would not stay there again! The desk clerk was new & didn't understand that I had already paid. The restaurant messed up our order, bringing us food we hadn't ordered, the meal took over an hour and a half , which subsequently caused us to miss the first quarter of the Jets game we had come into town to attend. They overcharged us on our dinner bill, causing us to be later & eventually removed the items we hadnt ordered. Parking was difficult & inconveniently located on the second floor in a creepy seperate structure behind the hotel.The room was fine Overall, a pretty rotten experience.”

• The staff was clueless about the Internet service that the hotel itself was advertising; no fridge in the room

“It ended up being a very average experience despite the physical attractiveness of the hotel. This was because the staff was unaware of the Internet service the hotel was offering in the hotel lobby, and was dismissive rather than trying to find out more information for me. Their attitude was below standard and incompatible with being service employees.”

“The toilet bowl was stained and the ice bucket had water in it. The other room with a king sized bed was much smaller. It was fairly clean. For both rooms, when the air-conditioning was switched on, the noise from the units were a little too loud.”

• All & all there were a lot of business people in this hotel which made it a friendly enviorment.
• I could not find any local restaurants. I had to drive back 7 mile from the area I came.

• Is particularly new and at a very convenient location.
• When we arrived, they gave us first a handicap room saying they didn't have anything else.

“When we got to the handicap room, the airconditioning wasn't worknig so they had to relocate us to another room which wasn't hadicap. That means that they lied at the begining about not having a regular room available for us. Other than that we had a good stay at the hotel.”

“The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly. This hotel was in a good location in NJ only about 4 miles from NY. There is shuttle bus right outside of the hotel that takes customers to NY City for $3 and ran up until midnight. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• We really enjoyed the proximity to NYC.

• Bus on corner to downtown New York arrives frequently

“Clean, friendly, upscale. Quiet location across from marshland, yet just off Routes 3 and 95. Free internet access in all rooms. NJ Transit bus to Times Square arrives every 20 minutes. About $6.50 roundtrip for adults. Little kids free. Medieval Times restaurant next door. Great diner up the street with tremendous portions.”
