• The parking situation is lousy. No back entrance to facility.

• The staff assistance.
• We were not able to obtain a room with two beds. I shall make the request now when I book the accommodation. Highways are confusing in the area.

• There was nothing...great place!

“We booked this hotel sight unseen and unknown. It proved to be a gem. We were a 20 minute ride into the city. The bus stops directly in front of the building and returns to same. We aere able to leave our car in the hotel parking lot at no charge for the day. We had a Park Avenue experience at a fraction of the price.”

• very conveniently located, easy to get to from both sides of highway
• nothing and I really mean that

“the best location in the Meadowlands area, easily accessible from both sides of route 3, from route 17, Turnpike, and local roads...nice lobby, good parking, 7/11 1 minute away by car...most importantly the rooms were very nice, spacious, great beds and pillows...a relief from getting a hotel located on Sheraton Plaza which is a royal pain to get to”

• All Courtyards are nice.
• Lousy location, intersection of RTE 17. hard to get to and from.

“The hotel is nice but is not located in a very good spot as traffic is terrible in the area. Other than that, I have stayed in many Courtyards and they are all good.”

• Incompetent & inexperienced hotel & foodservice staff

“I would not stay there again! The desk clerk was new & didn't understand that I had already paid. The restaurant messed up our order, bringing us food we hadn't ordered, the meal took over an hour and a half , which subsequently caused us to miss the first quarter of the Jets game we had come into town to attend. They overcharged us on our dinner bill, causing us to be later & eventually removed the items we hadnt ordered. Parking was difficult & inconveniently located on the second floor in a creepy seperate structure behind the hotel.The room was fine Overall, a pretty rotten experience.”

• The staff was clueless about the Internet service that the hotel itself was advertising; no fridge in the room

“It ended up being a very average experience despite the physical attractiveness of the hotel. This was because the staff was unaware of the Internet service the hotel was offering in the hotel lobby, and was dismissive rather than trying to find out more information for me. Their attitude was below standard and incompatible with being service employees.”

“Good hotel, nice staff, clean . POOL AREA WAS OUT OF CONTROL, CRAZY AREA..... Beds were so comfortable, pillows nice, and beddings was very nice. Tv was the worst thing, not much selection and was hooked up by cobbing the connections in back.”

• Toilet was dirty. Ice bucket filled with water (from previous guest?).

“The toilet bowl was stained and the ice bucket had water in it. The other room with a king sized bed was much smaller. It was fairly clean. For both rooms, when the air-conditioning was switched on, the noise from the units were a little too loud.”

• All & all there were a lot of business people in this hotel which made it a friendly enviorment.
• I could not find any local restaurants. I had to drive back 7 mile from the area I came.

• Is particularly new and at a very convenient location.
• When we arrived, they gave us first a handicap room saying they didn't have anything else.

“When we got to the handicap room, the airconditioning wasn't worknig so they had to relocate us to another room which wasn't hadicap. That means that they lied at the begining about not having a regular room available for us. Other than that we had a good stay at the hotel.”

“The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly. This hotel was in a good location in NJ only about 4 miles from NY. There is shuttle bus right outside of the hotel that takes customers to NY City for $3 and ran up until midnight. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• We really enjoyed the proximity to NYC.
• Can't really think of anything.

“The hotel was exceptional. The food was great and the rooms clean. We thoroughly loved the indoor pool. What a way to cool off after spending a hot day in NYC.”

• Bus on corner to downtown New York arrives frequently

“Clean, friendly, upscale. Quiet location across from marshland, yet just off Routes 3 and 95. Free internet access in all rooms. NJ Transit bus to Times Square arrives every 20 minutes. About $6.50 roundtrip for adults. Little kids free. Medieval Times restaurant next door. Great diner up the street with tremendous portions.”

• The rooms were cleaned very well. The housekeeper did a wonderful job and took the time to arrange everything nicely.
• Everything was wonderful.

“The location of this hotel was wonderful. It was convenient to get to where we needed to go being as though it was so close to the highway. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. My stay was very pleasant.”

“The hotel was as expected for a Marriott. Friendly staff. Has nice access to parking garage to the second floor stair well, but that means you also have to take luggage up and down stairs, unless you unloaded at the front door.”

• Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

“The accommodations are standard Courtyard. Comfortable, pleasant decor, great friendly staff, internet connections. Conveniently located near the NJ Turnpike. Not much of a view or lobby, not a resort, but a very pleasing place to stay for a night or two when on the road.”

“The hotel front desk staff was excellent. The house keeping staff was terrible. Since we were staying for three nights our next day room service was always missing some replacements. On one occasion, one of our rooms was assumed to be empty and our personnel drinking supplies was taken away and not replace after talking to management.”
