• The hotel was pungent and dirty.

“We were 3 people and gonna share 2 queen size beds, but the hotel staff did not let us share the beds so we had to pay for extra for third bed which we did not even use. In addition, we had some language problems with the front desk staff.”

• This hotel was close to my daughter's home, it was just right for the week.
• Elevator floor tiles were broken, also there was water on the floor made by men working on a/c units This was haziest o guest.

“Over all the hotel was great for the trip that I needed to take and filled the purpose that I needed.”

• Microwave and fridge in the room proved invaluable.
• Coffee was horrible.

“You also got a fridge (good size!) And a microwave. The holiday inn gives a 'free' breakfast in the cost of the room, but you could go to the holiday inn for breakfast (which is first rate, I must admit) anyway and that would only add on $11 for each night. The holiday inn is 5 minutes by foot and 2 minutes by car from the Howard Johnson. Alternatively there is a diner across from the hobo and that is reasonable too.”

• No fitted sheets (always coming untucked), bathrooms need remodeling.

“I went with my husband on a business weekend and although the location to major highways was great, the bathrooms needed remodeling; specifically, the tub floors and tub surround. The beds were very high, which was fine but the non fitted sheets seemed too small and kept coming untucked, exposing the mattress cover. The continental breakfast was not open late enough. The availability of coffee all day was nice but would have liked half & half.”

• The continental breakfast was very convenient for us, nice that this was offered.
• The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

“The hotel was nice and clean. Everyday our beds were made up and clean towels were brought. I'm hearing impaired and need closed caption TV. This was not available to us. Very surprised at this. This is my first experience with a hotel that does not offer this. Not sure if it is a law. But I do know that every TV made after 1991 it is mandatory that they have this feature.”

• Check in was extremely easy. Clean rooms, good sized and comfortable bed.
• You either got a microwave or a fridge, not both.

“This was a decent hotel. Check in was a breeze, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was easy to locate.”

• I stay at a lot of hotels and let me tell you that this one is a dump. Maybe a one star at best.
• Rooms are filthy and receptionists are rookies.

• This hotel is very dirty.

“This hotel could be fine, however, the room had an odor, found dried blood on end table and phone and the bathroom was moldy.”

• It isn't a superstar hotel but it does the job at a very good price

• Good location and nice staff.
• Bathroom door handle falling off, tub caulked with brown caulking causing same to look filthy.

“Nice appearance, convenient location. Terrible maintenance of room (door handle that I had to repair, bad bathtub caulking, ceiling peeling. I suspect that there is no maintenance review at all. HVAC system so loud that we had to shut it off with the result that the room got to around sixty degrees.”

• It's location.
• I thought the people were unfriendly and uncaring.

“At one time, Wellesley of Suffern might have been a nice hotel. Now, it is aging and not well kept. There was only one small elevator servicing the whole hotel and it broke which meant we had to take the stairs to our 4th floor room. That in and of itself is not bad, but it was very uncomfortable carrying luggage.”

“ I had a great experience with all the hotels in the King of Prussia area (i.e., Homstead suites, etc)I just transferred to the Nanuet area for work & thought I would give it a try - The experience was so bad that I doubt I will risk it againThe Wellesley Inn had "seedy" characters roaming freely throughout the hotel all hours of the day & night - I do not consider it a safe area - I came out of the elevator one morning & had a doberman dog attack me - My husband had to intervene - This was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had at a hotel & I try extensively domestically & internationally -”

• It was at a location that was near the office where my meetings were.
• Smell in elevator, staff could have been friendlier, the cont. breakfast was cheap looking.

“Overall the hotel was what I expected as I have stayed there 10 to 15 times in the past 8 months. However, the elevator still stinks, odor of possibly urine, the staff are not the friendliest in the hospitality field, the contenental breakfast is always out of something and the bagels seem 3+ days old. The rooms are OK but they are all in the need of a facelift, carpets worn, showers with old shower curtains, what is wrong with plexiglass enclosures. The hotel is not the worst by any standard, it is just reminescent of an old Red Roof Inn or Motel 6, or maybe the old Holiday Inn you sometimes run into.”

“I was initially pleased to find out that high speed internet was available, but I was ultimately dismayed that the service was only available at exorbitant rates. The lack of free local calls was also annoying. I have little interest in patronizing hotels that nickel and dime their customers.”
