• Clean and nice, comfortable rooms.
• The AC - heating in room is too loud, constantly turning on & off, hard to sleep.

“Price is right. Staff is professional, hotel is clean but I did not get a wake up call. There are only 2 computers, one doesn't work very well in terms of internet connection. Coffee in lobby is horrid. Van is new but I almost missed it because it a had piece of paper taped to the window that read Fairfield Hotel.”

• The staff was helpful and very courteous.
• It is almost impossible to find. We spent lots of time lost.

“Very clean, spacious room that I felt very safe and comfortable in. Nice beds, nice bathroom. Very happy with the hotel in this regard. Great breakfast. Staff was nice. Wish there was a restaurant or something close by. Once you leave the hotel we found it very difficult to find our way back. You can get to the city cheaper, you can drive to train station, park there and get on a train for a round trip.”

• Great parking,
  exercise room, very clean and very great staff, helped get to the city.
• Could use darker curtains on the window.

“This hotel was excellent. They allowed us to park in the lot before check in as we were headed to the city. The desk was very helpful as they helped us get into NYC and also helped us get directions back home etc. Very nice room with an excellent breakfast. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Excellent!”

• Convenient location for airport.
• Shuttle service to airport was a total failure. We missed our flight.

“The hotel itself was fine. However, we had two serious problems with the shuttle service. First, on shuttle from airport to hotel, we got on the shuttle bus marked "Fairfield Inn" but it turned out it was for a different Fairfield Inn about 10 miles from the airport. The shuttle took us back to the airport, not to the correct Fairfield Inn so we had to wait for the next correct Fairfield Inn shuttle. Then, the next morning for the trip to the airport, the shuttle was full by the time it got to the hotel. We were told there was another shuttle right behind it, but it turned out that was a lie. The shuttle never came, we had to take a $40 cab ride to the airport (about 2 miles) and we missed our flight.”

• Staff went out of their way to help me find this place.
• It is extremely hard to find, even with a map.

“It was clean, well kept, and relatively quiet even so close to the airport. The staff at the desk, breakfast, and cleaning crew was courteous, friendly, and good at their jobs. Even with a set of "map quest" directions, and a local NJ map, I could not find this place. The very courteous desk attendant finally talked me through the directions on my cell phone!”

• 24 hour shuttle, made an effort to change to desired two-bed room.
• Hours of Continental breakfast for leisure travelers who may want to sleep in (over at 9 am).

“Located about 1/2 mile from Newark - 24 hour shuttle to the airport makes it easy to connect to transportation to New York City. Walking distance to hotel with restaurant. Nice complimentary continental breakfast.”

• Location very convenient to the airport, shuttle service, clean room

“The stay was nice, the room was much bigger and nicer than I expected. 24 hour shuttles to and from EWR was very convenient. Also only 20 mins to downtown NYC.”

• I've used this faciltity before for it's convenience, price wll use it again the next time.

• The most I like is the hotel is clean in both the room and bathroom
• I don't like the highway or local road that access to this hotel there are too many traffics around this hotel it can confused for new come.

• it is difficult to navigate to this hotel, the route is very complicated

“i previously stayed at ramada inn it was a horrible experience, compared to that fairfield inn is like a dream come true the only negative thing about this hotel is that i found it difficult to naivgate to this hotel and hey i 've lived in new jersey for four years now but there is only one way to get to this hotel and it is not easily navigable i nearly had to drive for an hour in new jersey just to be on the right road to get there !!!!! but yea other than that it is a good deal for money and the breakfast with the view and cleanliness excellent deal for money”

• It was very clean and had a breakfast and hotel shuttle
• The staff was short with customers at times.

“I would definitely stay here again. Just make sure that you ask early for a non-smoking room if you want one because being stuck in a smoking room is not pleasant.”
