“This hotel is a great place to stay overnight if you have an early flight or arriving on a late flight. We arrived around mid-night and received a good night's sleep before we woke up next morning to take the train into New York City. Would recommend this hotel.”

  • It was very clean and tidy, great view.
  • I had to pay 20.00 per night to just to park my car, it was ridiculous. My floor had no ice in the machine, so I had to go to another floor to get ice.

“The hotel itself was really nice and very well maintained. No one informed us that there will be a parking charge of 20.00 per night to park my car at the hotel. There was a 10.00 charge to use your own laptop and use their internet.”

  • The rack of lamb was exquisite. The service was great.
  • Hotel bar had computer problems so they didn't serve food. I felt they should have found a work-around. I wasn't dressed for fine dining.

  • $23/day to park.

“The problem with the higher end hotels, this one being no exception is they nickle and dime you to death. $23/day to park is atrocious. Want an Apple or Banana or water? $5. In fact the nice, equivalent hotels in the area offer free or cheap parking ($10/day or less) and will kindly give you an apple if that is whats gets you going in the morning (as opposed to this hotels $15 "continental breakfast"). In fact the morning coffee isn't free either. Like I said, nickle and dime you to death.”

  • The facilities were well maintained and extremely nice.
  • No free parking.

“I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival at the hotel as, it exceeded my expectations in cleanliness, services and decor. The workout room and swimming pool area despite the number of guests were both clean and inviting. Driving on Route 1 9 is a bit confusing but overall I believe this is a good hotel destination for leisure or business travelers.”

  • Best hotel health club I have ever seen. Great staff. Clean and well maintained. Awesome bed!

  • Up to a hotel standard for what a business traveler expects, clean and well maintained, efficient service.
  • Restaurant closed a bit too early for late arrivals.

“A nice and convenient stay for business or adult travelers who needs to go to NY. Close connection and easy access to train to Manhattan and other part of NJ as well, especially if flying via EWR. Definitely not the kind of hotel for kids or family vacation type-will blow off other business travelers. Hotel setting is business oriented and quiet atmosphere. Running kids at the lobby or hallway and noise making families are last thing business hotel wants to bring in.”

“I was staying in this hotel because I was dislocated by a house fire. I had a wonderful experience at the Marriot which made a difficult time to contend with a little easier. The staff was outstandingly helpful and polite. The accommodations were excellent. The room was furnished nicely. The services were exceptional from room service to housekeeping. The 3 restaurants and room service served great food. Each day at 6pm, as I would be getting back to the hotel, they would be rolling out a tray with rice crispy treats and a variety of waters infused with fruit. It was a nice treat at the end of the day.”

“It was quiet and overall, it felt like a treat. The feather mattress topper was nice (though feathers poked through, they need perhaps higher thread-count linens). Security issue was intriguing. It requires a key card to use the elevator for guest room floors. This is fine, if a bit impersonal feeling and leading one to wonder if the lobby is unsafe. Also, when opened by someone else, anyone in the elevator can get out anyway, so there is no real security. Consequently, you may end up feeling more vulnerable than if they didn't have the card key requirement in the elevator, oddly enough. It just raises questions about security at this site I guess, not something you want to think about on your way to the room. I wanted this hotel because I thought it would be very nice and also easier than others for a late-night arrival and early a.m. departure at ever, but though it is very close to ever, I was advised not to walk, even in the a.m. And, the shuttle goes every 1/2 hour, not 15 minutes, and the shuttle ride is as long or longer than for other nearby hotels due to the tortuous highway routing. So, for my very short stay, the Day's Inn or such would perhaps have allowed a little more sleep.”

  • The air conditioning did not work well.

“The hotel met or exceeded expectations on all accounts except the HVAC system. I actually had to turn the air conditioning down to 60 degrees to obtain a reaction. Even after this drastic step, the room was not cool on Sunday morning and I was awakened by the humid air that was much warmer than I would have preferred.”

  • It was in the area where we wanted to be.
  • Parking fees especially as a hotel guest were ridiculous, $23 a night! Outrageous!

“The woman at the front desk looked stunned when I wanted to check in, barely knew how to do it, and barely knew how their parking system worked. My room key didn't work when I drove out of the parking lot to go to dinner. When I ran inside to find out what was going on, the man at the front desk said it was my fault for putting the key too close to my cell phone, which I did not do. Later, in the bar, the incompetent bartender put four different charges on my credit card for one bill; two charges still haven't been credited back to my account yet. Next time, I'll pay full price to go to another hotel.”

  • Food was reasonable and in room movies were cheaper than any other hotel.
  • I hated everything else.

“This hotel is horrid, the room was poorly cleaned, looked like sheets weren't changed and carpet seemed dirty. The halls and room smelled of raw sewage. I was afraid to get bed bugs from the bed and couch. Rooms are relatively large, but that does nothing for the cleanliness issue. Stay away if at all possible.”

  • Very convenient location, on airport property. Excellent shuttle service both to the hotel and to airport for early morning flight.
  • The towels could have been softer.

  • Parking fees are a little high ($33 per day), but understandable.

  • Great front desk/reception. Really efficient.
  • Charges for Wifi.

“A quick dedicated shuttle gets you to the modest reception area. Walk a few feet to the reception desk and there is someone who takes care of you without any fuss and very professionally. I arrived late at night, but both people at the desk were cheery and friendly. I was staying only a few hours before my early morning flight out. I asked if I could leave my bags with the bell captain. One of the receptionists personally tagged and took my bags. I got my wake up call on time. The room may be a little small but the king size bed was comfortable. Bath facilities fine but again a little small.”
