“I was misinformed about some of the hotel services and when I questioned them I was treated less that nicely.” Jul 19, 2007 by
Elias from Aurora, IL
“In general this hotel did not meet my expectations as Courtyard by Marriott.” Jul 18, 2007 by
Ron from Rockwall, TX
“Driving in our car couldn't even find this place! Leaving us 2 miles from the hotel at 2am very lost, we called the hotel and ivy at the desk was amazing as he talked us in (at the same time as someone else!) with the patience and precision of an air traffic controller. He put us in an upgrade suite (all that was left) which was great. Gated parking. Good service. Going into Manhattan a little troublesome but a very nice overall stay.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 17, 2007 by

“Nice hotel, but did not make bed and clean room on last day of stay. Kind of disappointed.” May 21, 2007 by
Subramanian from Brookyln, NY
“Good business friendly hotel with excellent shuttle service to the airport.” Apr 25, 2007 by
Tom from Chicago
“Extremely friendly staff, felt as if I were being pampered (I guess that's good), being recognized as a Marriott elite member is a plus, thanks for the welcome gifts (cookies, traveling welcome gift bag and water), and 24 hour shuttle bus to and from the airport. I thought I was booked at the full service hotel at the airport but when I found out that it was here instead and the price was way cheaper, I didn¿t mind. After all, I prefer this smaller and comfortable setting instead. Great hotel for business travelers.” Mar 29, 2007 by
Alex from Fairfield, OH
“The rooms and the staff of the hotel is great. They are very helpful and friendly. The hotel provides parking and shuttle to the airport is a big plus. However, the location is not ideal since it is off of a highway and it is difficult to get to if taken a wrong turn. I remember the taxi driver drove me to the Marriott and not the Courtyard. It took him an extra 90cent toll and another 20minutes or so to get me home. The Marriott is just on the other side of the airport, and it should not take longer then 5 minutes to get back to the courtyard. Therefore, I think the location is not the easiest to get to compare to other hotels.” Jan 6, 2007 by
Dustin from Oklahoma City, OK
“This place is nearly impossible to get to. It's on a one way street between 2 highway systems, you really have to know every exit to take to get here, and I had to help the taxi drivers just get there. They only use 1 shuttle for the airport between 3 hotels; it can take 45 minutes to get to the airport which is a 5 minute drive away. It was very incontinent; don't stay here if you plan on vacationing to Manhattan.” Oct 28, 2006 by
Adele from Round Lake Beach, IL
“This hotel served well as a one-night stay between trips at the airport. It was clean, although having just changed all their rooms to non-smoking (the day before) we received a previous smoking room which certainly smelled like it. We enjoyed the public computer, laundry room, and pool and were even able to purchase stamps. The buffet breakfast was very nice, though not included in the price. For the amount we paid, we were pleased with the room and accommodations.” Oct 27, 2006 by
Maggie-Mi from Macomb, MI
“Our toilet was broke. While the staff was prompt in fixing it, the toilet keep breaking. This made things a little difficult, especially with 3 women in a room! We ordered chicken tenders and wing dings for an appetizer. Both were very over cooked. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and accommodating Overall, I would stay there again if I'm in the Newark area since I finally figured out how to get to the hotel. It's very difficult.” Oct 19, 2006 by
Ricki from Ponca City, OK
“Very nice, clean hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Even the pillows were plush. We both felt we got more than or money's worth. Would have stayed longer, if possible.” Oct 17, 2006 by
Chuck from Torrington, CT
“If I'm back in this area, I will stay here again.” Oct 3, 2006 by
Caroline from Santa Ynez, CA
“We have always liked Courtyard and this location was up to scale . The rub is that it is located in a jumble of freeways and you need to be borne there to understand the mess. Go to the airport, call the tram and let their driver fight the traffic and the freeway jumble.” Sep 19, 2006 by
Bev from Moline, IL
“Enjoyed our stay. The people at the check-in were very nice and helpful. Would stay there again if we go out east.” Aug 10, 2006 by
Zhao from Ithaca, NY
“It is pretty good and I would recommend to my friends in the future.” May 24, 2006 by
Nancy from Ottawa, ON CA
“I would strongly recommend this hotel. The staff were very efficient, friendly and professional. They had coffee, cookies and fruit available in the lobby as well as a restaurant and exercise room and pool. The hotel decor was also very warm and inviting. The shuttle drivers were most accommodating too. I wish we could have spent more time there.” May 15, 2006 by
Cathy from Commerce Township, MI
“Clean, convenient, good price, free shuttle to and from airport.” Apr 10, 2006 by
Patricia from Minneapolis, MN
“Overall, the experience was favorable, the rooms were clean, I felt safe and the staff was very helpful. They had one computer for guest use which was not that busy but still there was a wait and others sitting over your shoulder waiting. The complimentary cookies in the evening were a welcomed treat. Would definitely stay here again.” Nov 8, 2005 by
Gail from Pocono Lake, PA
“Great airport location, friendly staff with great service. Restaurant lacks ambiance but food is good and location is convenient. Rooms are compact, but lovely.” Oct 31, 2005 by
Cheri from Wichita, KS
“High quality hotel with all the basic amenities needed. Enjoyed my stay very much.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 17, 2005 by

“You can never reach this hotel (although you can see it in front of your eyes). It requires special navigation skill to get there. NEVER book a room here. ” Aug 23, 2005 by
Bjorn from Minneapolis, MN
“The location is easy to find, if traveling on the correct side of the road, otherwise, you have to make a long u-turn, which can be confusing. The parking lot is secured by keycard entry, or controlled by front desk staff. The staff is helpfl with directions. The room is decorated nicely, and was very clean. The bed was confortable, the same as all Courtyard hotels. Internet Access was free. Breakfast is not provided, but appears to be so. That can be confusing, as one guest while we stayed left without paying the $12 for breakfast, and had to return embarassed to pay the tab.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 18, 2005 by

“Great pricing at such a short notice” May 13, 2005 by
Larry from North Bergen, NJ
“This is a convenient hotel at the airport. The staff is always absolutely wonderful and makes this plain vanilla Courtyard into and ice cream sundae each visit!” Mar 2, 2005 by
Josh from Bolingbrook, IL
“We were woken up 3 times. Once for a fire alarm, once for a wrong number wake-up call and once by housekeeping at just before 9AM. Did not get a good sleep at all.” Feb 27, 2005 by
Constance S. from Durham, NC
“Checked in late (11:30 pm) due to train running behind schedule. Friendly desk clerk said we had a non-smoking king room, but when we got to the room it was a smoking room. Very pretty. I knew it was late so I did not have much hope, but I called the desk and pointed out that it was a smoking room. The clerk said she would find a non-smoking room for us and send someone up with the key. A few minutes later she called back and said the only remaining non-smoking room was a wheelchair accessible room, and I said that was fine. Shortly a guy came to the room with a cart to take all our stuff to the new room. It turned out to be two doubles, which was fine. Mostly I wanted non-smoking above all. Very nice room. Huge bathroom. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows. Does not have fridge or microwave in room.” Jan 21, 2005 by
Bob from Williamsburg, VA
“Great hotel except for the difficulty of getting to it. The road syatem in the area is very confusing.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Joanne from Orange, NJ
“Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly, food was great and on time. I loved this hotel.” Jan 6, 2005 by

“I would stay there again, but I would have to make sure I had absolute directions to help navigate the airport loops.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
