• Front desk staff on duty were very curtious and helpful. Always a smile and thats usually unusual.
• For the price it was excellent. Can't complain as we always stay there when in Wayne over any other hotel.

“For the price you can't beat this hotel. Clean great staff, great breakfast in the morning free and the free internet access. I don't know how these places make money but they must. Over all La Quinta's are usually good for us when we travel anywhere in the U.S. Our favorite La Quinta is Chattanooga Tennessee. Great hotel!”

• Friendly, clean, comfortable, good continental breakfast.
• The heating system, very noisey.

“The facility was clean, comfortable, neat, had a microwave, iron, dryer, and the staff were very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone, the beds were very comfortable.”

• Some of the rooms are very small, like a king size bed.

• The lobby area was nice and the continental breakfast had a variety of choices.
• Our room, especially the bathroom, was not cleaned. Everything was falling apart or broken. The staff was rude.

“This hotel is a mess. I'm going to take an educated guest and say that they need new management. I do believe that the people working were no older then 16 years of age. This posed a dilemma. Not only were they discourteous, but they were incompetent on how to run a hotel chain. The only plus was the breakfast, but I lost my appetite after seeing gobs of hair on the bathroom floor from the previous customers. When trying to take a shower, don't even try. The water runs hot for less then five seconds, probably because the hot water handle fell off. The place as a whole is falling apart. It's like a horror movie. For future customers I would suggest traveling the extra mile to the hotel up the street.”

• Very friendly staff, safe, newly renovated, nice waffle maker for breakfast.
• I liked everything.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is newly renovated. The continental breakfast bar was fully stocked with a staff member ready to refill anything. Nice machines in the gym. Some people might object to thin walls, but I found my stay to be very restful and pleasant.”

• Heat in room too dry; bathroom door noisy; hair found between two clean towels.

“Despite the specific directions provided to us via the hotel's website, we had difficulty finding it the first of the two nights that we spent there. A staff member even told us that many people have had trouble finding it. We recommend that if local signage is less than clear (as was the case in this situation), the folks doing the website information make sure to clarify it. Even if they are relying on a major mapping site such as Map Quest for most of it, they should figure out some way to coordinate information and make it clearer to someone who is unfamiliar with the area. We also suggest that they consider upgrading the heating system to be more energy-efficient. The room was much too warm actually hot when we checked in; even after we adjusted the controls ourselves, it remained excessively warm and dry both nights.”

• Location relative to William Patterson university great. Beds were very comfortable.
• The bathroom smelled bad.

“I chose this hotel because of the location relative to the William Patterson university. It was very practical & economical. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom had an unpleasant odor. Fire alarm went off around 8 a.m. for what seemed like a long time. No fire.”

• Good location for our needs and staff was very friendly and conveyed they were there to serve our needs.
• We requested a king size bed and a lounge chair which were not provided. What we found were a queen size and a chair.

“Remodeling program was in place which caused some incontinence - but everyone was accommodating. Breakfast was good.”

• Rough scratchy sheets.

“Hotel is in process of transitioning from Wellesley to la Quinta. Maybe upgrades to facility will improve overall quality of the hotel. In its present condition, the hotel is dingy and our room had old cracked bathroom fixtures and old caulk that looked dirty. The lock on the glass sliding door was broken and there was leftover cat kibble on the floor from previous occupants. The staff was not unfriendly, but I wouldn't call them friendly. We will try at all costs to avoid staying at this hotel in the future.”

• Drian in bathtub was very slow, non-smoking room smelled like smoke, unable to switch rooms.

“This hotel is not two star hotel, it looks more like an hourly rental motel, there are lots of people in welfare living here, the doors and fixtures in the hotel need lots of work , locks in the outside perimeter don't work and makes it easy for anybody to have access to the rooms that don't belong there.”

• The location was the only redeeming feature of this hotel.
• No hot water for a shower and rude staff.

“Upon arrival, we found a dirty cigarette in our non-smoking room toilet, followed by no hot water for the next am shower and when we complained the desk staff was rude. We left our room at 12 noon for a wedding shower and the room was never made up and when we asked for a complementary movie for all of our inconveniences we were told the manager would have to approve and we never heard from him.”

• Clean and convenient.
• The bed was awful! It was very lumpy not very comfortable. Heater went on every five minutes and was noisy.

“Clean, convenient hotel, nice location, well lit and quiet. Nice little continental breakfast if you want it in the morning. Staff is pleasant. We got a fair price for a 2 star hotel, have returned here a few times.”
