• Bathrooms are small.

“This hotel is close to shopping and public transportation. They even have a shuttle that will take you to nearby NJ Transit. I always enjoy my stay at the Hilton Iselin.”

• Room service was prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. I felt like I was at the restaurant.
• Hotel specified it had express check out but my bill did not arrive at my room in time. I had to stop by the front desk.

“The early morning front desk clerk had poor communication skills. I would suggest that the hotel always place their best personnel at the front desk. First and last impressions are everlasting.”

• I took my family along on this business trip kids loved the pool wife-massage friendly staff all around.
• I arrived late-no food/restaurant avail. 2nd night 11:30 pm back from work wanted cocktail -bar/club open very uncomfortable I didn't finish drink.

“Overall stay was average for business travel. Clean room, comfortable bed, newspaper, room service available (but closed when I need it.) Staff was excellent. I brought my family along on this trip, and while I was in a meeting, the kids enjoyed the pool, my wife a massage. After work we took a short trip to the Jersey shore/boardwalk. Great location. My work weekend turned into a mini vacation. The kids loved it. (So did me).”

• The indoor pool was really nice. My son and I went swimming for the afternoon. The workout room also had very nice equipment.
• I did not like the club in the lobby. It was too loud when I arrived after 9:00 PM.

“I highly recommend this hotel. It was very well rounded. It was clean, staff was polite, and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.”

• It was very easy to get to and quite clean.
• The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything in the next room.

“This hotel is conveniently located off the Garden State Parkway. The parking is ample and free. The staff was extremely pleasant and the lobby area was large and obviously designed with the business traveler in mind. There are several restaurants although I did not eat at any of them. The room was a good size and clean. Same for the bathroom. It looks to have been renovated in the last 6-8 years or so. The noise from the hallway was a little much but there was a team of high school cheerleaders staying at the time who were congregating in the halls. Also the couple in the next room had a very loud fight that I could clearly hear overnight. I seem to have been unlucky and I think normal noise levels in both places would have been okay. I just had bad luck. The pool was nice but again the cheerleaders and the hot tub was broken. Overall a nice stay and such an easy location!”

• The potential it had was awesome.
• No bell service at check-in; food ill-prepared not like room service menu; pool and fitness facilities closed; TV didn't work.

“Was disappointed with about everything during our stay. Came for the fitness center and pool which was closed due to renovations; had to get maintenance to repair the TV. service; food from room service was not prepared like stated in the menu; had to have room service corrected three times just to get the items ordered; no bell captain or carts available at check in.”

• I liked the fact that my room was cleaned every day. The hotel was safe and I felt secure.
• The front desk staff during the day was very rude and made me feel like I was bothering them.

“The hotel was in the perfect location for my business needs. I was really pleased with the way I was greeted by the night shift desk clerk. I arrived at 2:30am and he was very pleasant and helpful. On the other hand the day shift desk clerks were very unprofessional. When I would ask a question they appeared to be bothered and really did not want to answer my questions. Other than the day shift desk clerks the hotel was everything that I expected. If the desk clerks would learn to be a little friendlier I would say that this is a beautiful hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is doing business or just visiting Edison, NJ.”

• No negatives.

“This was a great hotel experience for our family. The indoor pool/hot tub was great fun for our child, and the fitness facility was nice. The hotel room was exceptionally comfortable and clean.”

• The employees were responsive to meeting my needs.
• I didn't like the size of the bathroom. I was hoping for something much bigger.

“Nice hotel w/ an attractive lobby. The employees were very courteous and all of my needs were met w/o any problems. Its location is very convenient which is right off the express way. The only disappointment would be the bathroom size. I felt really cramped in there and I'm a very petite person.”

• The sleeping room was extremely loud hallway noise excessive and heating unit woke us every 20 minutes.

• I could not communicate with a few of the staff, as we do not speak the same language.

“This hotel was beautiful and much nicer than other 3 star rated hotels I have stayed in. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. As this looked like primarily a business hotel, I think my five year old son was the only child there. Instead of feeling out of place, they made him feel like a king. The restaurant, front desk and room service staff were so nice to him. They even made him special room service chocolate milk with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Clean and spacious room and helpful personnel.
• Lack of some amenities like microwave that I requested upon check in; the room had no refrigerator.

“It is an alright but have not met and answered all my needs during my stay. No microwave. I could not understand that the front desk can say to a newly arrived guest that there was not available microwave. And it was a 3 star hotel. Supposedly I noticed as I looked in the room that there was no refrigerator in my room.”

“I think this is a nice and beautiful place. However, this time we had to sleep in a sofa bed and I ended up with muscle spasm. About two month ago we did stay there and they gave us a room for handicapped. We are not handicapped yet, thanks god. I would like to hear your feedback on this issue.”

• Front receptionist was helpful and friendly.
• Toilet broken. Room service and food was horrible.

“Not very family friendly. Bathroom was horrid with a toilet that wobbled. Room service took forever even though we had left our order on the door the night before. When we called, they lied two times before the food was delivered 30 minutes past the time we chose. Will be staying at the Sheraton next time.”

• Cigarette smell in the hall way, hair dryer is old and terrible.

“My wife and I traveled with our 4 months old son and our parents. So we booked 2 non-smoking 2 queen-bed rooms for one night. The room is spacious, clean and luxury looking. The smell of cigarette smoke in the hall way is not nice. The hair dryer in the bathroom is old. Everything else is fine.”

• Isolated from shopping and other food outlets.

“The Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with the quality of my stay apart from the wireless internet which I had a lot of trouble connecting to. I was unable to connect to any access point on my floor or the one above. I eventually connected two floors above with a very poor signal and transfer rate. Although it was not critical to my stay I was disappointed in this but would definitely stay again.”

• The room I was initially provided was spacious.
• After a plumbing leak I was moved to a noisy room next to the elevators.

“In general this was a lovely hotel. The staff was very gracious and the accommodations generally very nice. However, although there was a quick response when a pipe in the bathroom sprang a leak, we were moved to a room next to the elevators which was very noisy and not pleasant due to constant binging, banging and guest voices.”

“The hotel itself is quite above standard for Wood bridge. However when looking for somewhere other than the hotel restaurant to eat it, well there was not much other than the local Burger King. The front desk where superb and efficient when checking me in. The rooms were outstanding. All in all it was a great trip but because of the location of the hotel I would not be returning.”

• The room was very comfortable and quiet. The room service was awesome and the food was great!
• I gave the hotel staff a credit card at check in and it was not there when I checked out.

“The hotel's cleanliness was impressive. The hotel staff was very helpful and they have a complimentary shuttle that I did not take advantage of but will the next time. It was the type of hotel where you can live it up or just relax. I chose to relax and really enjoyed just doing that. There was no loud noise though they had a lounge on the first floor. I would go back again.”

• Room service breakfast excellent, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, wi-fi internet, and stone counters in bath.

• Excellent location, free parking, free shuttle.
• A little old. No complimentary breakfast, no fridge or microwave in the rooms.

“We stayed at this hotel for our visit to NYC during the x'mas holidays. They have a free shuttle to the metro park transit train station and its a 45 minute ride to NYC pen station. The shuttle runs only until 11 pm - so keep that in mind. At this price it¿s a steal! And they have free shuttle to near-by malls, a swimming pool and a fitness center as well. Over all, a good choice.”
