• The guest services manager tried to accommodate us after a not great experience.
• Several things broken in the room, rude front desk associate at check in.

“The hotel location is pretty good, the lobby was beautiful, but the front desk/bell service/valet employees at check in weren't very friendly. We had several issues with our room (broken lamp, loud pipes/toilet, etc).”

• Parking was too expensive, inconsistent jitney service.

“The hotel was clean and attractive. It was very quiet compared to what I hear about the rest of hotels in the area. It is very family friendly. If you have an event at the Convention Center it is the place to stay, its adjacent to it.”

• The room was excellent!
• A decent walk to the casinos. I wish I had gotten a hotel closer to the casinos.

“Self park was $12 for 24 hours and valet parking was $17 for 24 hours. This is not included in the room cost. The front desk staff was friendly, quick and efficient. The room did not have stale smell like some other hotels. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were as white as can be! The bathroom was spacious. We had an HD LCD TV which kind of surprised me! Guess I haven't stayed in a nice hotel in a while. The room also had a coffee machine and safe, but we didn't use either of those. Also, the alarm clock had an iPod/mp3 docking station which I thought was cool!”

• My room would not cool down sufficiently on a balmy July weekend night.

“The hotel was sold out on a Friday night and it took a long time to correct the problem. The staff was helpful in getting us a room, however. Despite setting the temperature as low as possible, the room did not cool down to my satisfaction. Parking is not convenient for the Sheraton Atlantic City; I had to walk a bit to my car. The morning breakfast buffet was adequate at best. A very sparse selection for $13/person. The exercise room was the highlight of the trip. Adequate machine and weights and working treadmills.”

• Parking lot is too far from hotel and $12.00 fee was additional expense that I was not aware of.

“This hotel was of 2.5 star quality. Linens and chair in room needed updating. Carpets in hallways needed to be vacuumed.”

• Parking fees are $12 compared to less for nearby hotels.

“Not a bad hotel mainly because of location - it is within walking distance to outlet shops and Caesar's palace and Trump Plaza and convention center. It's a no-frills type of hotel, and its main calling-card is its location.”

• It was extremely clean and I love the LCD TV.
• The piping in the building was extremely loud.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was in walking distance of everything (shopping, clubs, casino, and eatery) even though it was away from the boardwalk. Would stay here again. Upscale hotel at a good price.”

• Charging way too much for parking.

“For where this hotel was located the parking should be free. But at least the jitneys and cabs are readily available. Very nice room, would have enjoyed it if it was slightly cheaper but still a very good value. Good staff. Like the noon checkout, the way it should be.”

• It was great for a close to casino party joint.
• Weak on amenities like Jacuzzi and big pool. No entertainment in house.

“I'm 22 and got a room with me and my friends. Perfect location for casino and entertainment. The rooms were clean, comfortable and homey. Modern and flat screen. Great for couples or just your boys (or girls) to stay. Just don't drink the water they leave in the room for you. Its $3.50.”

“The hotel was great. Just 2-3 blocks from the casinos and just across the street from all of the outlet stores. My room had a great view of the Caesar's, Bally's, and Trump casinos at night and I was only on the third floor.”

• Nice and quiet. Very clean. Away from the headaches.
• Nothing comes to mind.

“I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family. My wife and I are not gamblers, so if we go to Atlantic City, it is usually for a show. I like that there is no casino. I also liked that it was far enough away from the boardwalk and the headaches of the main strip. The really nice thing is that it is only a five minute walk if you want to gamble or see a show.”

• Not much, the coffee stand in the lobby was the best part.
• We requested a King and rcvd double beds.

“Although I have always enjoyed staying at Sheraton hotels this was definitely my most disappointing experience. A Frat. Took over the entire hotel and when we checked in at 1:30am there were at least 150 people in the lobby. Some were even drinking directly from a Crown Royal bottle. When we got to our floor, I felt as though I was back in college. There were people sitting sprawled in the hallway drunk and the people in the next room were having a party until 4:30am.”

“The hotel was very nice-clean, helpful staff, nicely decorated, has a restaurant & gift shop, relaxing lobby; in walking distance to the many outlets and near the Atlantic city expressway entrance; We used the pool, free internet, in-room movies; clean rooms; a few beauty aids, but no in-room guide to the hotel; only drawback was the parking-either valet or used the Convention Centre garage.”

• Very clean, comfortable, convenient location.
• Parking was in a garage next door, had to pay extra for parking.

“Beautiful hotel that is very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly, and helpful when we called down with questions. Great location, right next to the outlets and restaurants, and walking distance to the boardwalk and some casinos. There is a taxi stand, and shuttle bus stop to all casinos directly behind the hotel. The room was clean, updated with modern decor, and the bed was very comfortable. A coffee maker with Starbucks coffee and cups was complimentarily provided in the room. The room also had an in-room safe, flat screen TV and desk. Room service was excellent, with breakfast being delivered within minutes, and a follow-up call made to ensure that our food was satisfactory. I definitely recommend it to others.”

• I liked that there was no casino. Also Miss America trivia was fun.
• Self parking was a bit of a hassle...do the valet for a few extra dollars.

• Rooms clean and they gave us the rooms we had requested.
• Its a few minutes walk from the boardwalk but we knew that before we got there.

“This hotel is fine for a trip to AC. There were five of us, we didn't really spend too much time in the hotel but the rooms were big, clean and we had no problems. The rooms both had flat screen TVs which was nice and one of the rooms had a good view of the boardwalk and ocean. We asked for rooms high up and they gave them to us. Its right next to all the shopping too.”

• We were given a double bed, and couldn't get a queen (we are tall).

“Yes, its minutes from the boardwalk, like a 20 minute walk! While the room was nicely appointed, the room they gave us was right next to the elevator and a bit noisy. They would not upgrade us from a double to a queen (even though he could visually see we were both tall people). Not a super anniversary celebration hotel, but good for business travelers.”

• The restaurant Tun was excellent.
• The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked, that is very important to us. The night manager offered us a $50 credit for the noise situation.

“They did offer air freshener, but didn't help much. They also had a drunken bunch of men staying in the room adjoining ours. Security tried to keep it under control, but it went on until the early hours of the morning. There was also a barking dog in the room above us. The bathroom was not the cleanest.”

• Friendly Staff.
• Location to casinos and boardwalk is a bit far. There are plenty of cabs to take you to them though. Be ready to pay $15 per day for parking.

“It's one of the better hotels I've stayed in Atlantic City. It's clean and quiet. There is no casino and the hotel is a bit of a distance to the boardwalk, but there are plenty of cabs to take you there. I believe there is a free shuttle as well. Unlike all the other casino based hotels in Atlantic City you should be ready to pay 12 - $15 per day for parking.”

• The staff was very helpful and allowed us early check-in.
• There was nothing I disliked.

“We had an amazing stay. Upon my arrival the staff was very helpful to look and see if our room was available for early check-in. It was and this made it so convenient for us. We were able to check in, park, and head out to our show. The hotel was beautiful and there was always a taxi waiting for us.”

• It was convenient to downtown Atlantic City.
• The service was not good and the issues we had were not resolved at all.

“During our stay at the Sheraton, Atlantic City, we had an issue with our room. At around 2am we were awoken by our extremely loud and obnoxious neighbors at which time we called the front desk to complain. An hour went by and nothing had changed. We again called the front desk and were told that they would send security up to that room and that the occupants would be given their "final warning". From what we could make out, security did come up to the room and there was an altercation between the room's occupants & security. After security left, they people next door continued to be loud and obnoxious. At this point, we determined it was best to just pack our bags and head home. When we arrived at the front desk to tell them that we were checking out and that the people in the room next to us had continued their raucous behavior the woman at the front desk snapped at us demanding to know why we didn't just call her again. We said that it was pointless seeing as how we'd already called twice and nothing was done to resolve the situation. Sure, she eliminated the $18 parking charge on our account, but we still ended up paying for a full night's rate for a hotel room we had to evacuate at 4am ! We literally were there for 8 hours which makes this stay a pretty expensive one !We will never again use the Sheraton hotel chain as this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had.”

• No entrance to hotel on side near shopping outlets. Had to walk completely around the block.

• No refrigerator, small beds, pricey restaurants.

“The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. However for the price you would have expected a fridge/microwave in the room. The queen beds were very small and they indicated continental breakfast, but it is not free.”

• Hotel needs a rear entrance since that's where the outlets, casinos and beach is.

“We booked a one-night stay and the hotel met every expectation we had. Parking was a breeze, staff was friendly, room was comfortable, amenities were great, location was convenient. We'll definitely come back!”

• I was surprised in the convenience of the location even though it was not directly on the ocean.
• In a cold February, the entrance/exit was on the far side of the building from shopping and casinos.

“Surprisingly almost perfect! This hotel had the convenience of being near outlet shopping, the casinos, and major highways. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable.”

• The hotel was next to the train station. My son loves trains.
• We ordered room service. The menu was very limited and I was disappointed in what we ordered. The quality was lacking; especially for the price.

• It was quiet, made sleeping peaceful.
• Having to go either outside or around the ballrooms to get to the tavern.

“My girlfriends and I stayed there Presidents Day w/e, and for the price we paid it was worth it. Other hotel and/or casinos were asking high rates. We were there to attned a concert, and the money we saved on the room helped us buy our tickets for the concert. (we actully paid more for the concert tics than our hotel room.)”
