STRANDED from New Jersey
“You don't want to stay at Econo Lodge Beach Block Pacific Ave! It should be knocked down. Motel from Hell. No fireplace. Everything wired with extension cords or plug adapter. Overhead lights you see the rafters/wiring above, looked below code. Screw under carpet. No heat. Low power in jacuzzi. No hot water for at least 2 hours both mornings.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Jerry from Cortland, NY
“Location is great. Just off the boardwalk. Staff was courteous, but not informative or helpful. The room itself was well worn and not pleasing, but I wasn't expecting much. Your not going to leave feeling you got a lot for your money, but if you're just looking for a place to lock up your stuff, go gamble and drink and then crash at night, this is probably a good one for you.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Lauren from Lake Ronkonkoma, NY
“The only good thing about the hotel was the location. The room smelled musty and moldy, tripped a couple of times going into the bathroom because of a raise in the tiles. The shower was dirty and it looked as though old stickers were peeled off, leaving the remains inside the shower.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Danielle from Upper Darby, PA
“Highly recommended if you are looking for something inexpensive in a great location!” Mar 31, 2008 by
Luther from Irvington, NJ
“The room was small it has a great location near casinos and 1 block from the boardwalk. There is a very nice 24 hour bar/restaurant (Chelsea Pub) right up the street so that was nice to have near the hotel. Overall I had a good experience!” Mar 19, 2008 by
Barbara from Lebanon, PA
“It was a place to sleep. The room was clean, but worn lots of repaired party damage, I would say. Seems like the place college kids stay when in AC. Construction going on next door was loud, early in the morning on a Saturday. The staff was great, though. They were polite, helpful and friendly. Five stars to them.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Kristina from Fredericksburg, VA
“Hotel room was a good size. But all street noise could be heard. Screaming, honking, and cussing. Lock on door did not work. Had to have someone fix it before sleeping. Office staff was not nice. No desire to try their breakfast. Checked out a day early to find a different place to stay.” Jan 9, 2008 by
Rick from Glenelg, MD
“Over all this hotel was exactly what we needed. Cheap in costs and a clean comfortable room within a 2 minute walk to The Tropicana Casino and there new Quarter shops and food court.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Lenny from Washington, DC
“It met my expectations for the quality of hotel I stayed in.” Aug 6, 2007 by

“For the price and location, directly across the street from the tropicana, and walking distance from other casinos this was a great way to enjoy Atlantic City, and save money on lodging. Free off street parking was an added bonus. If you plan on using your room mostly for sleeping, and not hanging around in it all day, this is the way to go.” May 22, 2007 by
Dustin from Quakertown, PA
“Great stay for the price and location to casinos. I was pleasantly surprised.” Mar 28, 2007 by
Mike from Boston, MA
“I think this is a great hotel if you aren't expecting to spend too much time in the hotel. It is located near the boardwalk and the Tropicana casino so you do not need to walk far to have some fun. I haven't stayed in any other Econo Lodges but this hotel exceeded my expectations. It is the right price for a weekend get away to Atlantic city if you want to save some money or in my case are a poor student. I would recommend this hotel to fellow students and guys weekend out but if you have the money, I would suggest staying in a casino hotel.” Jan 3, 2007 by
Leon from Virginia Beach, VA
“Over all it met my expectations. Belgian waffles were a nice touch for the continental breakfast. Location 1 block from boardwalk was awesome! Seems to be a somewhat older property, could be maintained a bit better.” Nov 1, 2006 by
Charlie from Bronx, NY
“First pulling into the parking lot I wanted to immediately switch hotels, the place looked old and run down. But we only needed the room for a few hours to sleep after a long night of gambling and partying. So we checked in anyway. The staff was friendly helpful when my girlfriend needed to get her hair done, the lady at the front desk suggested a salon that was close and was able to take her with short notice. I didn't really like the room, but I have to say the sheets looked clean.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Amy from Norristown, PA
“It's a great, cheap place to stay when going down to the casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the weekends- or if you don't have comp rooms at the casinos, during the week. The staff is very friendly, coffee is good and they have a fun waffle maker for breakfast. Don't expect to get the best night sleep, but it's convenient for those on a budget who want a fun night of gambling or entertainment in AC.” Oct 24, 2006 by
Kris from Levittown, PA
“It is somewhat run down, but it is so convenient because the Tropicana is right across the street to it. It fit my needs, plus there are Jitney stops right across the street that gets you around town for $2.” Sep 29, 2006 by
John from Alexandria, VA
“Good location but need to renovate. Paint job would help rooms. Also should supply alarm clock.” Sep 13, 2006 by
Autumn from Jamestown, TN
“I would not recommend this hotel. It is close to downtown attractions, but the carpet and bathroom were very gross. The bottom of my socks were black from walking around on the carpet. The lobby staff was very friendly, but the cleaning staff could not speak even one word of English. The price was good for the area, but I guess you get what you pay for. Again, I don't recommend to anyone.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Stanley from Milton, NY
“This hotel was clean and very conveniently located. However, the noise made it impossible to sleep, day or night.” Aug 29, 2006 by
Mary from Flushing, NY
“If they shampoo the rugs I would of totally enjoyed my stay. close to everything wonderful staff.” Aug 20, 2006 by
Paul from Severn, MD
“For the little bit of time I was in the hotel, it was fine.”
