• The staff is very friendly and addressed problems promptly.
• When we arrived there was no heat and they had problems with lights.

“The location is convenient to the casinos and close to affordable eating establishments. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced. But over all clean comfortable.”

• Place was a dive, but, staff was friendly.

• Location to Atlantic city.
• Hot and cold shower backward control and the bathroom needs repaired.

“Poor English first of all. Telephone buzzes and makes the communication understandable even worse. The Bedroom was clean but the bathroom was in dire need of repair, floor tiles missing and door was in bad shape and curtains were wrinkled. This was our honeymoon And we only could take 2 days off of work. Traveling by car there and finding it also was a problem.”

• I like that the room had a microwave and refrigerator.
• Limited parking, water would get hot then cold, and there was not restaurant.

“I thought the hotel would have been a little better based on the description online. The walls were paper thin. I probably wouldn't stay there again unless it was the only hotel available. The hotel staff was very nice and gave us what we asked for when requested.”

• It didn't burn down while I was staying there.
• Everything.

“Crappy. Leaky bathroom sink. Mirrors on the ceiling. Bathroom in total disrepair. Funky odor.”

• Good location at a reasonable price.
• Could use better staff. Child was working at front desk.

“From the photos listed on the website I expected a Comfort Inn type stay. However, I got an economic lodge stay. The pictures are deceiving. I would not have paid as much or have booked a different location as there were other hotels in the area with the same accommodation at a lower price. For the location, the price is about right. The staff could have been better as the staff was friendly but did not speak much English Must be family run as well as a 9 year old boy checked us out! I would shop around before choosing this hotel.”

• Lack of modern network facilities.

“The Absecon Travelodge is a nondescript hotel in a desirable location. It offers clean basic accommodations, but is by no means a "fancy hotel". The hotel seems to be oriented toward leisure travelers visiting the nearby Jersey Shore and Atlantic City. The room I stayed in was somewhat cramped. There was a table with two chairs that also had to serve as a desk. The absence of a real desk with a high-speed Internet connection would be a detriment for any business traveler using this hotel. On the plus side, there is a nice, though rather small, swimming pool. There was also a refrigerator in the room, always a welcome amenity. There are many nice restaurants nearby. I'd particularly recommend Rifici's, which is just down the road toward Atlantic City. The owner is in the process of upgrading the premises, and it may become quite nice in the future. The location is certainly very strategic; most of the famous Jersey Shore is within a short drive. Cape May is less than an hour away.”

• Nothing it was horrible.
• Everything.

“DO NOT STAY HERE. IT was horrible bugs crawling around. NO room whatsoever They lied about what was in the room. We saw the Jacuzzi in another and it was horrible. you could barely fit into it. When I tried to talk to someone about the room I was dismissed right away. Very rude.”

“The manager can not understand English, he does not speak it very well either. They refuse to give receipts, so they can lie and say you were there when you were not and they can charcer full price. I'm willing to bet that they got my money and someone else's for the same room for the same night. very crappy service and people111”

• The price.
• The bedspread need to be change often.

“The room was fine except for the smoking part. The bedspread smell very bad with cigarette smell even thought it was a non-smoking room. The smell effected my children and I ask to change the bedspread immediately. The cleaner need to pay close attention to non-smoking. Try to eliminate the smell or something. Overall stay was nice except for the smoking part.”
