• The room was re-decorated nicely. It was quiet and clean.
• Room was somewhat small.

“Room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. While on the small side it suited our needs for a 1 night stay. The breakfast was very good. Waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, pastry's, juice and coffee. Great value on this hotel.”

• I was with someone special and was glad it was a nice room.
• The only thing I would have liked is a better vending and ice machine.

“I needed internet for my college courses and that was always available. I liked the room and thought the hotel was nice overall. The staff was courteous and the only thing I would change is the ice machine and vending machines.”

• Breakfast was meager, no decaf coffee, no fresh fruit, sheets were too small for the bed, leaving foot of bed with about 8 inches of exposed mattress pad.

• Later than 9:30 am continental breakfast, wider parking spaces.

• Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and I would go there again.
• Continental breakfast was something to be desired, but it wasn't bad. Coffee could use some work.

“It was just fine. Recently renovated, clean room. Needed extra towels and pillows and there was no problem. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Was easy to find. Overall no complaints except for the coffee. I would go back again.”

• Free high speed internet.
• The toilet was clogged when we got there. We had to get plunger and self plunge; staff was busy.

“Overall, the room was good for a day or two, but I wouldn't want to stay much longer than that. It was fairly clean, had cable, decent bathroom, and free high speed internet. It was close to Atlantic City as well as Shop Rite, Dunkin Donuts, and other necessary chains.”

• Clean, fresh, appearance was great.
• Paying 15 extra dollars.

“Everything at the hotel was great, except on thing. When we arrived at the hotel I checked in and went to the room to find out that they had given us a king bed, smoking room, when I asked for a 2 double bed, non smoking room. When I went to the desk to let them know about the mix up the clerk at the front desk who hardly spoke a word of English argued with me, then told me to go to the type of room i wanted was an extra 15 dollars. Not a big deal but still kind of annoying.”

“Absecon' Best Western is an economy class hotel which does not meet the expectation of the traveler. It is 0 star with amenities similar to cheap motels. Even though there is a pool and adequate parking, this is a short time motel masquerading as a hotel. My companion and I were very disappointed.”

• The room was smoking and we were under the impression that it was not.

“Everything was fine - would stay again except the honeymoon suite was smoking and you could not miss that it was smoking! It was kind of disgusting smelling in the room to a non-smoker like me but everything else was more than I expected.”

• One of the best hotels on the Whitehorse Pike in Absecon, NJ.
• I had a handicapped room and the shower did not adjust above chest height.

“Definitely one of the nicest hotels on Whitehorse Pike in Absecon, NJ. Front desk staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and up to date.”

• I was very clean and provided in room coffee.
• The fire alarm going off at 4:30 am!

• The hotel is close to Atlantic city for half the price.
• jet tub instead of Jacuzzi.

“the hotel was fine, the price reasonable . there are restaurants nearby and Atlantic city casinos and boardwalk are a few miles away and easy to get to.”

• Very clean, decent and affordable
• We could not stay longer at that time.

“When ever I visit Atlantic city I will always stay at this location. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and professional and called me by my first name the minute I arrived through the door. (p.s) I made my reservations through the internet, but the minute I arrived she knew who I was. We stayed there in December 2004.”
