“Nice hotel. Spacious rooms. Nice indoor pool. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff.” Oct 10, 2005 by
Melissa from Iselin, NJ
“Very impressive lobby and decor. Staff was helpful and quick to answer questions. I travel a lot and when I'm able to find a room in a hotel like this at such a low price, I'm thrilled. Did not try the restaurant, but from what I saw it looked lovely.” Sep 1, 2005 by
Jennifer from South Plainfield, NJ
“The Doubletree is a beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate, as were the pool and jacuzzi, and the staff put me in a non-smoking room with queen-sized beds without a problem. It's close to a major highway and to shopping (in the case of forgotten toothbrushes and bathing suits), and is overall a lovely place, inside and out.” Aug 29, 2005 by
Judith from Pinecrest, FL
“We ended up in a smoking room because we wanted the 2 beds and there was barely any smell, so that's pretty good.” Aug 23, 2005 by
Eugenia from King George, VA
“I would recommend Doubletree very highly. We stayed twice in the past week (I'd say we were lucky to get Doubletree the second time). Both rooms were very nice, clean, comfortable and offered every amenity including delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. I don't care for a coffee pot in the room and would prefer a complementary coffee/danish bar in the lobby for a quick breakfast before checking out.” Aug 19, 2005 by
Tom from Danbury, CT
“This may have been a 3 star hotel at one time but it has not been maintained. It is no more then 2 now.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Joseph from Lebanon, PA
“Very nice hotel with polite staff easy acess off 287 and I would stay there again.” Jul 5, 2005 by
Jay from Columbia, MD
“Excellect value and location for Somerset travelers.” Jun 25, 2005 by
Shawn from Orlando, FL
“The staff was friendly. That was about the only positive experience I can rememember. The hotel lighting, cleanliness gave it almost a dive feeling. If it wasn't for a smiling face, the quality of the hotel should have been a 2 star at tops.” May 23, 2005 by
Ingrid from York, PA
“I had a very pleasurable experience. The hotel was very nice. Very pleased with all my experiences. I recommend it to all my friends.” Mar 9, 2005 by
Carol from Philadelphia, PA
“Staff was accommodating, room a little threadbare.” Mar 7, 2005 by
Tom from Granby, CT
“The hotel was nice. I was on a business floor and there was a spread out every night and I wasn't sure if I could partake in it... And there was no one around to ask. The room was a little bit shabby, They had a refrigerator in the room that looked s though it was been kicked down the stairs but it still worked. But all and all it was worth the money.” Mar 1, 2005 by
Susan from Burnt Hills, NY
“This hotel was elegant, but welcoming. The atmosphere was friendly. We felt comfortable after an exhausting day. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The front desk checked to see the coffee cups we needed were delivered. It is clear that there is attention to detail taken by the staff.” Feb 20, 2005 by
Doug from Great Falls, VA
“The hotel was very convenient to my meeting, clean confortable accommodations. Very complete and easy to use exercise room. I enjoyed the stay at this hotel and would plan to stay here on my next visit to Somerset.” Feb 14, 2005 by
Andie from Metuchen, NJ
“The hotel was more than what I expected. The lobby was wonderful. The meeting rooms were great. The staff was friendly. The pillows were wonderful.” Dec 14, 2004 by
Susan P. from Torrington “Excellent hotel in a great location. Very nice rooms and good restaurant and fitness center. Staff was very welcoming.” Sep 26, 2004 by
Stephen B. from Georgetown “Lack of internet access in the room I was in, this was a significant deficiency. It was available on other floors I understand.” Sep 16, 2004 by
“Excellent hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. It was not easy to access I-287 from the hotel.” Sep 2, 2004 by
Janis F. from Roebling, NJ “Not quite the luxury of the Princeton Hyatt, but fine for the business traveler. Restaurant was good. Bathroom was a little small. Good to see internet connections, although I did not need to use them on this trip.”
