“We had a warm welcome by the reception with hot cookies - that was the first impression about the hotel. Pleasant staff, clean rooms, convenient location, beautiful scenery. We enjoyed our stay and would like to book the same hotel in case if we plan any vacation next year.”

• The room was gorgeous, and the bed was REALLY comfy.
• Water pressure was almost non-existent at times.

“I had never stayed at a Doubletree hotel, so I didn't really know what to expect. It's a part of the Hilton chain, and I've had some hits and misses with Hiltons. Appearance-wise, this hotel reminded me of a Wyndham. We stopped at this hotel after driving about 700 miles or so, and we had more miles to cover the next day, so we really only slept there. The water pressure in the shower had great variances, and it was impossible to get an elevator down when we were leaving. These problems lead me to believe you can dress a building up and make it look incredible, but it can still be disappointing in the end. One thing that was entirely fabulous, though, was the bed. It was so comfortable.”

• Beautiful grounds, very quiet in the rooms despite all the activity. Great bar.
• Air conditioner was very noisy and the bathroom was a little small.

• Spacious rooms w/ excellent layout, great gym, good restaurant/bar.
• They charge for internet.

“This is the best business travel hotel I¿ve stayed in, except for the fact that they charge for internet. Next to the bed and bathroom, the internet is the most important part of a hotel room. Charging extra for it is flat-out unethical.”

• Good business center, decent workout room.
• Parking so far from entrance because employees filled closer spots!

“A hair better than the nearby Marriott, due to the free Internet access. Outdoor facilities--pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, fitness trail--look great for warmer weather stays. But please, free up the parking spots nearer the entrance by moving the Enterprise rental cars and employee parking to the rear of the hotel!”

• The housekeeping staff was pleasant and helpful.
• An important medical device was sent to us at hotel. They were warned but never told us.

“Old. Getting makeover but problems because of this. Some staff utterly incompetent, other staff helpful and competent. Amenities fine. Nor did they convey a telephone message left for us.”

• Attractive hotel in a lovely setting.
• Poor housekeeping - sheets not changed - hall filled with same dirty dishes for more than 24 hrs.

“Attractive hotel with nice amenities for a one week stay. Poor dining room service and food. Staff unable to set table and serve table properly. Floor room halls left with same dirty dishes, tables and chairs that belonged in conference rooms for days. A definite fire hazard. This is the only hotel that charges for Internet Service. Unable to access my own or local Y-Fi connects available at no charge to hotels in same area. They made unauthorized charges to my account. The charges were without proper billing disclosure and authorization procedures..”

• Most of the staff was attentive to my needs. Requests where granted immediately. Clean. Nice indoor pool.
• One desk clerk gave me a difficult time upon check in. Couldn't find reservation even when I previously verified with hotel directly.

• The staff was so helpful and friendly!
• Nothing, really! The tub was too small, but otherwise...

“The Doubletree is a beautiful hotel. The room was immaculate, as were the pool and jacuzzi, and the staff put me in a non-smoking room with queen-sized beds without a problem. It's close to a major highway and to shopping (in the case of forgotten toothbrushes and bathing suits), and is overall a lovely place, inside and out.”

“I would recommend Doubletree very highly. We stayed twice in the past week (I'd say we were lucky to get Doubletree the second time). Both rooms were very nice, clean, comfortable and offered every amenity including delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. I don't care for a coffee pot in the room and would prefer a complementary coffee/danish bar in the lobby for a quick breakfast before checking out.”

• They charge for internet, kid was swimming naked in pool next to very young girl. Is a hotel that is no better then a Best Western or a Days Inn

“The staff was friendly. That was about the only positive experience I can rememember. The hotel lighting, cleanliness gave it almost a dive feeling. If it wasn't for a smiling face, the quality of the hotel should have been a 2 star at tops.”

• It as a very nice hotel with restaurants and bar.
• The room was a little bit shabby.

“The hotel was nice. I was on a business floor and there was a spread out every night and I wasn't sure if I could partake in it... And there was no one around to ask. The room was a little bit shabby, They had a refrigerator in the room that looked s though it was been kicked down the stairs but it still worked. But all and all it was worth the money.”

• Restaurant was comfortable and relaxing. The warm cookies made us feel welcome.
• I wish NJ did not allow smoking in bars. It bothered the breathing of 2 of us.

“This hotel was elegant, but welcoming. The atmosphere was friendly. We felt comfortable after an exhausting day. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The front desk checked to see the coffee cups we needed were delivered. It is clear that there is attention to detail taken by the staff.”

“Not quite the luxury of the Princeton Hyatt, but fine for the business traveler. Restaurant was good. Bathroom was a little small. Good to see internet connections, although I did not need to use them on this trip.”
