• Location.
• Dirty bed linens, possible bed bugs.

“I checked out within 15 minutes of checking in. Met a former guest at hotel who had been hospitalized because of bed bugs. She had complained moments before to clerk. I checked my bed linens and found hair all over them - very poor laundry job. Also found possible evidence of bed bugs. I was so turned off I checked out after the clerk lied and said he had never had a complaint about bed bugs or room condition when I knew woman had spoken to him minutes before. Nothing worse than lying (other than dirty sheets and bed bugs).”

• Breakfast dining area was small.

“The hotel was conveniently located near Atlantic City. It had clean, comfortable rooms with a nice shower. The breakfast was pretty good but very little seating and was crowded. Many people were standing to eat their breakfast.”

“Basically clean and convenient. But the breakfast area is ridiculously small. Guests could not get from one item to the next; way too crowded! There were people lined up around the already small lobby area waiting for a seat at one of the few tables.”

• Great continental breakfast, staff was very nice and helpful.
• The room was small and the king sized bed was a little short as well as too big for the room. They were unable to provide us with a cot.

“Needed a place to crash somewhat near AC. This place was close enough and served its purpose. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the continental breakfast was, and the staff was very courteous. The room was kind of musty and was not insulated very well, but for what we needed it for it was fine. Good economical place to stay.”

• The room was extremely cold, even with heat.

“If it wasn't for the cable TV. And coffee maker, I would say this hotel would be for the budget minded traveler. The room was extremely cold & we had to leave the bathroom door opened in order to warm it up. The bed wasn't so comfortable either. I wouldn't stay here again for more than one night.”

• The hotel was in a good spot for visiting the casinos.
• The room was cold in Dec as a result of the 1/2 inch gap under the door.

“Over all, the hotel was okay. Weekday rates are fair and weekend rates are high but cheaper than near by hotels.”

• No real issues.

“You can tell that this hotel/motel has been recently renovated. The rooms are clean, and appointed nicely. The bed was comfortable. Definitely one of the best 'motels' I have stayed at, especially for the price. If you are looking for something a little more upscale, with more space and amenities, you should probably look elsewhere. However, if you are simply looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest your head after a night out on the town, this is the place. The free continental breakfast is always a nice perk, too.”

• The hotel seemed to be remodeled within the last few months.
• The location was difficult to find based on directions.

“The hotel, once we found it, was well-lit and appeared to be newly-renovated within the last few months. Watch out for internet-based directions as they send you the wrong way on route 30! The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. Our room was ready for us and we had no trouble finding it in the complex. The parking was good and we did not have to walk far to our room. The room was clean and tidy. We were missing a towel (there was only 1 towel there for 2 people) but a quick call to the desk remedied the situation. We stayed overnight after seeing a concert in Atlantic city, so the room was perfect for us as ac was 10-15 minutes away by car.”

• Rate was great considering. Quality not bad.
• Only problem I had with this location been that there were a few bugs running around.

“Hotel was great, price was right, staff was the best. Only one problem was the couple of roaches running around. Kind of a turn off in the morning when your about to brush your teeth. This could of been just a one time thing, we will give them another visit if were in the area.”

• Patched hole in the ceiling,.

“Definitely worth every penny. Fantastic room with modern furniture, comfortable bed, internet access, and nice bathroom. Free continental breakfast and newspaper was a very nice feature. Friendly staff.”

• Extremely clean and rooms were private and quiet.
• I thought it was closer to the casinos, it was about a 20 minute drive to the boardwalk.

“I would recommend this hotel as far as cleanliness, safety and over quality of stay. I wish the explanation of the location of the hotel explained better it's location. The five miles to the casino was to get to Borgata area. To get to the downtown strip or boardwalk it took about 20 minutes.”

“Stay away from this hotel!!! The lobby was full of plaster.. the room had food on the floor, smelled disgusting and after we laid down we found a cockroach on the nightstand!!! This is also a high crime area! ”

“The hotel is under going major changes. It will be nice when it is finished. When checking in nothing was said about breakfast or any other thing. The phone and internet were down, I saw the note the next morning checking out.”

“Although this hotel was undergoing renovations, it was not clean at all!!! I was worried that small animals might crawl through the opening at the bottom of the door & I was worried about the safety of my partner when I had to run to the store.”
