“The hotel is great close to everything. But if it's a business travel and working the night shift and need a early check in, forget about it. Very few have early checkin.But other than that everything is good.”

• Clean, with breakfast, quality for the money, friendly staff.
• Originally, we would like to postpone the 2- day 's stay 1 day late, but Ramada finds excuse to not comply.

“The hotel is a fine hotel, most staff are friendly. Except the only night shift lady is inflexible about the above request, which is really no big deal. If they can do that, it will make Price-line reservation more desirable.”

• Free breakfast, indoor pool.
• Nice, but had to move to several different rooms. TV, A/C didn't work.

• Very good quality!
• Wish it also had a microwave oven in each room.

“This hotel met my needs in every way and was conveniently situated to my place of business. Minor problems (drainage in the bathroom) were dealt with promptly. I was very satisfied with the whole experience.”

• Friendly staff that did as expected to make my 8 day stay pleasant.
• Quality of the hotel was only 2 star, room quality definitely reflected this.

• I did not like anything about this hotel.
• It was dirty.

“It was dirty in the hallways and in the individual rooms. There was a bag of old Chinese food outside our room when we arrived - it was still there the next morning. The carpet in our room was filthy and had pieces of old pretzel on the floor. The blankets were crunchy, visibly dirty and unsanitary. The room's smell was offensive and we were kept up all night by the person in the next room (separated only by a thin and probably unsafe door) snoring. Besides the snoring, our sleep was also disrupted by the sounds of nearby passing trains and what sounded like a truck loading bay directly underneath our window. The room did not seem safe. The remote control for the television did not work well. The bathroom was filthy and covered in mildew. My husband and I used his flip-flops to shower because it seemed so unsanitary. A hotel does not have to be luxurious but should certainly adhere to basic standards of safety, cleanliness and hygene.”

• Great Location only three block form my office.
• Non smoking area should be non smoking not here.

“Great location for me, however they have non smoking floors that when you get to that floor you can smell the smoke in the hallways and even in the rooms. I didn't enjoy my stay because of the smell of smoke in the room. ”

• people were friendly, great room, hot shower, very clean
• It was only one night and I did not have any problems at all.

• The lobby was attractive. It felt safe. There was a restraraunt in the building
• It was too far away from my destination. The taxi ride cost $15 one way.

“I wouldn't stay there again. I would pay more to stay closer to my destination. It would have been helpful to have approximate taxi fares to Rutgers posted. If I had known I would be paying $30 in taxi fares I would have wanted to pay less.”

• The first room had hair in both beds, cigarette burn in the quilt and a red stain on the pillowcase.

• location of the hotel was good ,it did not take much time to point it out from the ramp itself.
• Safety of the area and the restrooms look too basic.

“Expected something better for a 2 star rating.....was happy to see a refrigerator but it was not working.
Came across too many drunk people around.

• Didn't like the hair in the shower when I checked in

“The hotel is conveniently located right off of 287. Aside from the one at the hotel, there aren't any restaurants at that exit. Nice pool and comfortable lobby. The staff were all friendly!”

“The whole second floor smelt like stale cigarettes, although there were rooms on this floor that were non-smoking. My smoking room was so choking we could hardly breath and left there coughing with sore throats. Poor air quality!!! The microwave and mini fridge were so old and worn that we were afraid to use them.”

“I was surprised to hear from the Ramada Inn that a non-smoking room was $2 more than a smoking room. None of the hotels I have used to date have told me of such a policy.They gave me non-smoking room after a discussion.”
