• Front desk performance is uneven and therefore unreliable.

“Extremely satisfied with the hotel, only don't understand why any other 4 star hotels in the world would provide free breakfast but this one wanted $17/person! Ridiculous! Never had that happening before.”

• The style and layout of the hotel was nice and my room was very nice.
• I did not like the fitness room several machines did not work properly and they should offer free WiFi.

“Overall the hotel was very nice. They promote the hotel as being great for business travelers, but I felt that most of the services that business travelers need such as WiFi, faxing, scanning etc. were only accessible through expensive fees. You basically pay 9.99$ a day for internet and their business center is run by an outside company so everything you do in their requires a credit card. I used the fitness center, it was very small and a at least 2 machines did not work properly. The pool area was very nice and the hotel was designed nicely. My room was also very nice.”

• It is convenient to major roads but far enough away to be secluded.
• Needs to be updated, especially the bathroom tiles.

“Fine for overnight stays (business or leisure). Needs some updating of tiles, carpeting, etc. Linens were wonderful, bed was comfortable.”

• Beautiful location close to all convenient places, safety, very dedicated staff. Awesome.
• We like every thing no question about, did not like.

• Very bad service at the restaurant.

“Very nice hotel, pleasant to the eye and good size pool that wasn't too busy. Room was nice and not too small. Only bad point was that we dined for lunch in the restaurant. It was almost empty yet the service was very slow, not good at all. Next day went to breakfast at hotel. Was very badly organized. Terrible service with people queuing everywhere unhappy. I would definitely recommend this hotel just don't use their restaurant.”

• Sounds of fountains in lower level.
• Bed linen.

“Coarse and bulky. Heavy bed linen was downright, unpleasant. Some room views are lovely, others are less attractive and somewhat dark. Bathroom lighting is useless for applying makeup as at most hotels.”

• Many services.
• It has the ambiance of every other Hyatt Regency; view from room was mostly parking lots.

“Too long a hike from parking to front desk. Services fine, room very nice, did not partake of food, vending machines too far away.”

• The rooms were very spacious and very well equipped.
• I did not like the fact that the hotel charged for internet access.

“All around the hotel was pretty darn great. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but on the inside it's great. The lobby looks fantastic, as well as the hallways and elevators leading to the rooms. I only dined in the restaurant for dessert but it was excellent and fairly priced, although a little bit on the high side. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Rooms were very clean upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and attended to our requests in a very timely manner. They even lent us a small refrigerator at no extra cost, which was surprising. The only down side I found to this hotel, although it was a big one to me, was the fact that they charged for internet access. I brought my laptop along expecting free internet access and was extremely disappointed. I have been in hotels of lower quality then this and have gotten free internet access.”

• Room service food was good and delivered promptly; pillows and bedding were very nice.
• Hotel key didn't work (3 times!). Hook was broken in bathroom, food was very expensive.

“For a three star hotel and the price, this was excellent. The food is good but overpriced, and there are no other readily available options. When I arrived, the hook was broken on the bathroom door with the hardware hanging down, no glasses in the bathroom, room keys didn't work. But the room was fine, the room service was prompt, the wireless connection went through with no problem.”

• I didn't feel comfortable all through the stay.

“One of the girls in the reception desk didn't smile at all. The room smelled awfully so I instantly insisted to change the room, but she blame the former user and she had nothing to do with it, and there was no other room (it was 3:10 pm). I asked a couple of times again, and then she gave me the wheelchair room. I had no other way to accept it. It has huge bathroom and other space was so small, no hair dryer and no make-up table in the bathroom.”

• Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.
• Disappointed in Handicap room.

“We rented 2 rooms (4 totals in party). Temperature of water in shower of Handicap Room (first floor, Room 111) was not consistent. Also, room was not well furnished with shampoo, etc. Would have preferred to have a counter with sink in handicap room. Our other room (#141) was great! Front desk staff was great!”

• Outdoor hot tub was closed.

“I spent the weekend visiting my daughter who in college in Princeton, NJ. The location is perfect, close to all shopping and restaurants. Easy access to Rt 1, less than 5 minutes to I-295 and I-95. A+ staff, customer service, friendliness. Gorgeous pool and hot tub facility. Very nice fitness center with dry sauna. Gorgeous lobby and restaurant. Nice shop in lobby for gifts or personal items. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Bedding A+. Desk provided was perfect for work. Wi-Fi available for a fee. This hotel also was absolutely perfect in accommodating my special needs requests. Would certainly look forward to staying again at this hotel.”

• The room looked nice. The bed was comfortable.
• The restaurant was way over-priced. The staff did not do their job.

“The hotel is very hard to find, just off the freeway ramp, poorly lit, and inadequately signed. Our toilet was not working properly and nearly flooded our first night there. It did flood the next morning. We had to use all of our towels except one just to prevent the water from running of the tile on to the carpet. We reported the problem at the front desk. Two men there assured us it would be cared for immediately. We left for the day. When we returned for our second night, the toilet still would not flush properly, forcing us to use the toilet down the hall. And it did not appear that the floor had be properly cleaned and sanitized. We have stayed in better maintained cheap hotels and motels. This is not the quality of hotel we paid for. Despite it all, we entertained the thought of having Easter brunch at the hotel. But when we learned that the price was $60 / person, we thought better of it, deciding to cut our losses. This was definitely our worst experience.”

• It was great for the price. I never thought I could book the Hyatt for 50.00 a night!
• You had to pay for wireless internet. You think if your staying at a 5 star hotel it would come standard.

• Excellent room and location adequate parking.
• Shower was erratic. Water continuously turned from Hot to Cold

“This was a Handicap room. There was no horizontal services to place one's toiletries. Even Handicap persons need a surface for their toiletries. The total did bring us a small table to use. Except for this issue and the erratic performance of the shower, it would have been a 100 across the board.”

• Nice swimming pool, mostly friendly staff, interesting layout, good soaps and shampoos.
• Old furnishings, internet charge, noisy (during evening wedding), poor restaurant service.

“Mostly my stay here was comfortable, but there were a few notable exceptions. One, our room faced the courtyard of the hotel, and there was a very loud wedding during the evening. Two, the furnishings were outdated. Three, there was no free internet. Four, the restaurant was understaffed for breakfast. Most of the staff was very friendly, but a few were just plain rude.”

• The beds were luxurious.
• Internet access.

“While the hotel and the rooms were beautiful, it was important to have access to the internet for communication. They had a business plan room with only one computer, for which you had to have a special card for access. There is normally a $20 charge to use the computer (how outrageous is that!) which they did waive, but there was never any paper in the printer.”

• Cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
• AC unit is centrally controlled, therefore, our room with ice cold and we had no control.

“The hotel was nice overall, but no one informed us of the centrally controlled AC. When we went into the room, we turned on the AC and set it to 73 degrees and on auto. We had our 9 month old daughter sleeping in a crib with no blanket. When we awoke the next morning, the room was at 63 degrees and our daughter was freezing. I complained about this and the staff was as helpful and apologetic as possible given the situation.”

“We were looking for a hotel close to Sesame Place at a reasonable price. This is only 15 minutes away from the park. It has a very nice 3 floor-high lobby, an extremely friendly staff, large well-decorated rooms, good-size baths. The kids had lots of fun in the indoor pool, and we liked that it's right adjacent to an outdoor patio and whirlpool. We didn't try the restaurant, although it was tempting. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes drive. The only negative was the parking: although there was a big parking lot, we still had some trouble finding a spot late at night. Will definitely go back.”

• The food was amazing, best sea bass I have ever had.
• Noisy kids running around the hotel at night, soccer kids.

“The staff was great. I ate at the restaurant and had the best service I have had in a hotel in awhile from Jeff, very nice young man. Gave me a heads up on my travels to Trenton where to park and where not to park. The staff was very nice, housekeeping was ok, took an hour to get extra towels but they were packed.”

• Their clothes cleaning vendor needs to be replaced.

“I sent several items to be cleaned/pressed. They came back wrinkled, unacceptable. The hotel staff was very nice and removed a portion of the charges. Other than that, my stay was flawless.”

“The Princeton Hyatt was conveniently located on rte 1. A 10 minute ride to the downtown area of Princeton. Very clean with comfortable bed, sitting room and balcony.”

• The cost of food was astronomical - the most expensive hotel food I have ever seen! $16 for a hamburger and $16 for eggs!

• The rooms were large, clean and comfortable.
• The gift shop was not open early in the morning.

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, the rooms large and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. Downsides: the on site restaurant was expensive, and the extra charges to use the business center and internet access. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.”

• Housekeeping was incredible. They never bothered me to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. .They just appeared when I left the room.
• I can think of nothing.

“This was the most wonderful experience that I have ever had with a hotel. While not the most beautiful it was certainly well placed and probably had the most efficient personnel I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The bedding was out of this world. So much so that I am ordering a setup for my home. Again the Hyatt comes out on top for me (the last stay was in Acapulco).”
