“I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very comfortable and extremely clean. It was easy to get to and from Princeton's campus, I just did not like the New Jersey U-turns. This made the location difficult to get to from one direction. I am from a different state that does not make turns like that, it was a little confusing. Once we got to the hotel it was fine.” Aug 21, 2008 by

“The grounds, our room, and the hotel itself were all very clean. Front desk staff was very cordial and helpful. Our bed was also very soft and comfortable, which has become a rare commodity. Great stay all around.” Apr 19, 2007 by
Peter from Ithaca, NY
“A great place to stay when visiting Princeton.” Apr 18, 2007 by
Mandy from Ny, NY
“Good, clean hotel - but not in Princeton university area, this was located on route 1 highway. ” Jan 23, 2007 by
Todd from Fairfax, VA
“The hotel says renovated, but I had old crummy furniture. My sheets smelled of wet paint.” Jan 9, 2007 by
Todd from Fairfax, VA
“The hotel is right beside the highway but there is no turning lane. The website does not have an accurate address. The hotel was nice, clean, and newly remodeled. The breakfast buffet was extremely overpriced, however there was not many other food options in the area.” Dec 22, 2006 by
Iman from Clifton Park, NY
“Good location. Still finishing a renovation process so couldn't use swimming pool. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. Will highly recommend this hotel.” Dec 21, 2006 by
Charles from Loudon, TN
“In general the room was very comfortable, except for the bathroom sink area.” Dec 13, 2006 by
Arun from Williamsville, NY
“This is a good location when in Princeton. However, the hotel is being renovated. We had no place to wait for our ride. Upon request, we were provided to chairs. What shocked us was how mad the cafeteria lady was upon finding that we were authorized to sit where we were sitting. She was most unprofessional and if I were her boss I would have fired her on the spot. Breakfast is very expensive.” Dec 12, 2006 by
Kenny from Brooklyn, NY
“My tub drain was clogged & when I called to let them know it took over an hour to respond, while I was running late for a meeting. The also did a poor job blocking off the construction areas (they were remodeling) from the part of the hotel being kept open.” Dec 6, 2006 by
Beth from Bristol, PA
“While the location for this courtyard by Marriott was very convenient, the overall luxury of the entire experience was lacking. From a wait-staff at the restaurant who never appeared (after a moderate wait time with toddler in tow), to the food bar (with an obvious need to be re-stocked), Iżd rate this particular hotel a fair at best. We opted to travel about an hour away to spend the night at home the second pre-paid night instead of heading back to this severely under-construction and somewhat noisy hotel. (There were two groups of teenagers lining hallways and lobby which though somewhat well-behaved, still added to the generally disarray of the place). Not suitable a romantic getaway. Not recommended for a family with small children. Skip the week-end getaway and just order in pizza. Perhaps worth a try after the completed renovation, but I wouldn't bet on it, as even the layout of the rooms was somewhat lacking as you were required to turn sideways in the bed to watch the 6-station TV. It was overall a disappointing experience that I do not care to repeat.” Nov 22, 2006 by
Marie from Pittsford, NY
“It was very reasonable. Staff were friendly. Room was good. Location was very good.” Nov 15, 2006 by
Darlene from Ajax, ON CA
“Convenient location easy to get to friendly staff free paper and coffee.” Nov 14, 2006 by
Mae from Salisbury, MD
“This was a very nice hotel outside of Princeton. It had just undergone renovation and the new decorating scheme was great. Free wireless internet was a plus. The rooms were quiet, the staff friendly, and they had great coffee available in the lobby!” Oct 4, 2006 by
Jenneh from Durham, NC
“Even though the wireless Internet system was down we really enjoy our stay.” Oct 3, 2006 by
Lori from Philadelphia, PA
“This Courtyard is excellent - up to the standards of the Courtyard chain. A bonus is the Delaware-Raritan Canal Park, a multi-mile scenic path along the river that is great for running or walking, right behind the hotel.” Sep 27, 2006 by
Paula from State College, PA

“This hotel is convenient to Princeton University. The reception area was clean and attractive. I was greeted with a smile. My room was good sized. The hall carpet was fanciful.” May 24, 2006 by
Reshma from Drexel Hill, PA
“I would stay at this hotel once again when an opportunity presents itself.” May 18, 2006 by
Terri from Dover, NH
“The location is excellent. The overall accommodations are great, nice pool and hot tub, exercise room. The staff at check-in was borderline rude over our being placed in a smoking room when we needed a non-smoking room. There was a lot of parking lot space, so the likelihood of complete booking was not high, however, they refused to change our room. They did send up someone with some dreadful smelling deodorizer to "freshen" up the room. Masked it, didn't fix it. Overall, again, nice hotel and great location.” May 11, 2006 by
Gail from New Sharon, ME
“The hotel was set up very nicely for both families and singles. We had a nice size room, lovely grounds. An area was fenced in so people could safely roam the garden walkway and there was a gazebo for sitting. Very nicely landscaped. A refrigerator was provided almost immediately after I requested it. Staff was extremely receptive to pets.” Apr 25, 2006 by
Feng S. from Granger, IN
“It is a very basic hotel, nothing to brag about. The hotel is on Route 1, a very busy but slow road. It is too noisy for a guest who wants quiet place to rest. Getting there is also very confusing if you are heading north on the road because you could not just left turn when seeing the hotel. You have to pass the hotel, and make a right turn to go through an overpass to get back on the road heading south, then right turn again to get in.” Feb 17, 2006 by
Darlene from Ajax, NJ

“Very convenient to Princeton-area shopping (especially Princeton Forrestal Village), businesses, and the University. Our room had a strange odor coming from the walls in the bathroom. We checked in very late, closed the bathroom door and went to bed. Had we been less than exhausted, I would have asked for another room. When I complained in the morning, the front desk staff were quite reasonable, and offered us free breakfasts. Walking distance (just across the parking lot) to Ruby Tuesday's, although we didn't take advantage of it.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Chris from Houston, TX
“Location is a little hard to get to, but the hotel itself is very nice. Rooms are spacious and clean; the complimentary local paper is a nice touch.” Jul 21, 2005 by
Brendan from Baltimore, MD
“I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It was much better value than the Radisson up the road for the same price and it's much closer to the University.” Jun 27, 2005 by
Thomas from Christiansted, VQ
“the restaraunt was closed when we stayed there. fortunately there was a ruby tuesdays retaraunt next door.” May 11, 2005 by
Laura from Princeton, NJ “Staff was amazing this time! They were not only helpful when asked questions but they followed up to make sure everything was going well. Great Job and Improvement from last time I visited them!” Mar 10, 2005 by

“This hotel is great in that they are located in a prime location near Princeton on route one. Their staff was occasionally friendly and occasionally distant and curt. The staff on Saturday were cordial in assisting me with my problems regarding the inability for the wifi to work. The Sunday staff, though, lacked warmth. Overall, though, the experience was a positive experience.” Jan 4, 2005 by
Charlie
“This hotel seemed new and clean and the rooms are very comfortable.” Dec 23, 2004 by
Gerry R. from Chincoteague Island “The accommodations were superior. Ruby Tuesday's within walking distance was greatly appreciated with holiday traffic in the area. Surprised to find no continental breakfast as most of the Inns in the area do provide one.”
