“the water pressure would just go to none.” Sep 26, 2008 by
sameer
“No water fountain in the hotel or in the vending machine. Only 2 pillows for a room hmmm. No alarm clock or a way to check the time, no way. Better carry one with you. No way to take a print out. Staff says printer is broken and there is no way to use the available one even for a single sheet. No lobby facilities, I mean none only area to sit 2 persons. Strange hotel.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Letrice from East Windsor, NJ
“I was very pleased with the full size fridge freezer and microwave. There was also a nice stove and kitchen ware. The room was generally clean as well. I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom. It was small and the shower curtain was dirty. There was not enough soap in the bathroom. There were no extra papers or guides in the room to welcome the guest or tell about the local area. I had to call the front desk for restaurants and other info. There was no Bible or yellow book in the room either.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Je from Nanuet, NY
“A basic room at a reasonable price. The room I got had a bad smell. I figured the soaking carpet under the A.C. unit was the cause of the smell. Staff did not seem too eager to investigate.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Mark from Coatesville, PA
“The first two rooms were not accessible with any keys that they had. The third room was a smoking room, and the fourth room did not have the A/C on and was close to 100 degrees in it. I had to run the A/C and open the freezer and refrigerator and turn them way down to get the room comfortable. All this, while I was trying to right an important report for work. I would never go there again.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Scott P. from Ellettsville, IN
“The hotel was nice, as can usually be expected with Extended Stay. However, the location of this hotel in the city of Princeton was horrible. The road system in the city, along with most of New Jersey, is terribly confusing and inefficient. Most of the roads have concrete dividers preventing cross-traffic turns, and drivers are not allowed to turn at the majority of the intersections. Instead, there are "U Turn" exits every few miles that aren't actually "U Turns" but just overpasses with on/off ramps. Having lived most of my life in the Midwest, this system made little to no sense to me. The majority of the businesses and the restaurants in the area also close by 10 pm.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Charles from Brooklyn, NY
“Clean rooms, great location and reasonable rates make this hotel a good stay for the money.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Desmia from Jersey City, NJ
“I waited for about 20 min at the front desk before one of the ladies got off a personal call to take care of me. The hotel was clean, but no pool no ice maker.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Scott from Hawthorn Woods, IL
“The overall hotel stay was above average. First, my friend and I were unable to had 2 beds, which was disappointing. Also, the hotel lacked room service for short visits, which I also didn't like. However, the room was very nice, with a good kitchen and was clean. The associates at the front desk were very friendly as well, providing good restaurant recommendations as well.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Rich from Bakersfield, CA
“Hard to get to - hotel highway its located on has no turnarounds for several miles. Plain looking, inflexible management, strong odor.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Victoria from River Falls, WI
“The hotel staff are nice and helpful. The hotel is clean, orderly and generally well-run. It would be more ideal for a traveler with a car as there are few places one can walk safely from this hotel. I would definitely recommend this place for a traveler with a car.” Jun 10, 2008 by
Charlie from Murray, KY
“NA.” Jun 2, 2008 by

“Awesome for what it was designed for. Extended stays. We were only there overnight. Kitchen was impressive, but unnecessary for our needs.” May 28, 2008 by
Gabriel from Somersest, NJ
“No doubt the hotel is very neat, nice and everything is excellent.” May 27, 2008 by
Donna from Antioch, CA
“The Extended Stay America hotel is a no frills place that was just as I expected.” May 22, 2008 by
Edward H. from Johnstown, PA
“This Extended Stay America was not as high quality as the other one in the Princeton NJ area. There were problems with several items in the room although the room provided the basic that we were looking for in lodging.” May 17, 2008 by
Lois from Tampa, FL
“We stayed here May 8-11, 2008 to visit relatives in NJ. It is right off Highway 1 & our room on the second floor faced the highway. There was traffic noise unless the fan for the air conditioner/heater was on. Friendly front desk staff. The desk is only open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. A telephone in the lobby is available to summons assistance outside of those hours. The room was adequate but the queen bed was small (or we are too large. We have a king size bed at home). The kitchen had dishes/utensils for 2, regular size refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave. Negatives (minor): There was a burn mark on the kitchen counter top, the hair dryer in the bath which was wall mount actually resided on the sink top, the bath/shower lever that controls the water was stuck in the shower mode, and the last night we stayed we heard the TV in the room next door all night. Guess we could have complained but we were leaving the next day anyway. Positives: The internet access for the entire stay was $4.99. Ample clean towels & more available from front desk for the asking, they did give us additional dishwashing detergent (little packets good for a few dishes), an additional pillow (only one) when requested, they accept animals (we heard dogs barking at the end of the hall).” May 14, 2008 by
Vj from Columbia, MD
“Dirty. Staff is very unhelpful. I have seen better maintained pools in the third world.” May 12, 2008 by
Shin from Lawrenceville, NJ
“The staffs are so nice, and rapidly answer to my needs. It has kitchen, guest laundry, vender, room refresh service, and safe location. Perfect!” Apr 28, 2008 by
Robert from Hollidaysburg, PA
“Rooms clean, staff very considerate, definitely stay again.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Robert from Hollidaysburg, PA
“If the televisions were larger, I think you would a lot more business, otherwise outstanding.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Danny from Crescent, OK
“My stay there was great. Very peaceful. At first the TV in the room was only a 19" TV. I asked for a bigger one. The general manager personally walked me from room to room and found me a room with a 25" TV at no extra charge. I would defiantly stay there again.” Mar 13, 2008 by
Debra from Reading, PA
“When I arrive to check in they did not have a room for me.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Rick from Mount Holly, NJ
“Checked in and entered room. Room was very cold, turned heating unit on and the room slowly heated up. Temperature of room very difficult to control. Attempted shower the next morning. Shower condition was absolutely horrible. Plumbing in very bad condition. Change rooms two time. Got new room still with weak plumbing, but was too tired to go through this anymore. staff was courteous in changing room but took no time to examine room prior to me moving. They could have inspected rooms prior to flipping me from bad to worse to bad. Also, internet service was very weak.” Dec 20, 2007 by
Carolyn from Cincinnati, OH
“This hotel is not fancy like the local Hyatt, Marriott and Weston, all of which Ive stayed at, but it's cheaper, too. It's very convenient to Princeton, but tricky getting into from rt. 1 with confusion of mall across the road and many exits. I went in circles a bit. Room was clean and simple and had everything I needed. I like having kitchen facilities and access to washer/dryer. One staff member (late night) was very nice but others disinterested to curt. When I called for directions, I was given incorrect directions and then when I called back at a little after 11pm, the receptionist told me there was no one on the front desk and couldn't help me.” Nov 24, 2007 by
Angela from Colorado Springs, CO
“It was sufficient for my needs, but I submitted a request for the same price and star level in the same location and ended up in a much nicer property, the Homewood Suites.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Ted S. from Bethesda, MD
“Understaffed, no shampoo in room (available on request), only one double bed, not very comfortable, minimal staff. Ok if need a full kitchen and basic accommodations for long term stay, not recommended for short term.” Nov 12, 2007 by
Cindi from Barnegat, NJ
“I've stayed at this motel before. The quality of the place keeps changing because they keep changing management. A year ago, this place was immaculate. They need to improve their housekeeping staff's skills.” Nov 5, 2007 by
Paul from Willingboro, NJ
“Great place to stay.” Sep 19, 2007 by
Bob from Bowie, MD
“This hotel is very average but clean and rather new.” Aug 30, 2007 by
Normand from Pittsfeild, MA
“The location was great, and the out side was nice, minor problems checking in, trying to charge a different rate on top of what I had already paid. The room was ok, small, there was left over milk in the fridge from the last guest. The bed was the hardest I have ever slept in. I got the worst sleep. On top of that, the AC smelt moldy and sent me into a bad allergy attack. To say the least, I was not pleased.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Christina from Hartford, CT
“The hotel was well lit, clean and staff was friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.” Aug 26, 2007 by
Raymond from West Warwick, RI
“Hotel was decent. The room overall was nice, needs to be cleaned better, and the appliances were kind of gross. No dish liquid or paper towels but yet there is a kitchen. The clerk was helpful and nice. Overall it was ok could have been much worse.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Jobi from South Windsor, CT
“I do not recommend this hotel to anybody. Cleanliness is very poor in this hotel.” Aug 13, 2007 by
Kerri from Pine Forge, PA
“Some rooms were better than others.” Aug 4, 2007 by
Kerri from Pine Forge, PA
“Almost 3-star.” Jul 12, 2007 by
Joe from Ocean City, MD
“For the price we paid, all we got was bare minimum. No toilet items (shampoo, mouth wash etc.). Contained a kitchenette that we didn't use. Have stayed at nicer hotels with many more amenities including complementary breakfast for close to what we paid for this place.” Jul 2, 2007 by
Barry from Yardley, PA
“Basic suites hotel on Rt.1 just south of Princeton. No amenities (pool, fitness, breakfast etc.) & not fancy, but very safe. For the star rating 2, relatively clean & new.” Jun 11, 2007 by
Elizabeth from Tuscaloosa, AL
“There were no people to check you out early in the morning, had to take your towels down to the lobby to get clean ones.” Oct 5, 2006 by
Paula from State College, PA
“The location was good but I don't care for this hotel chain” Oct 3, 2006 by

“Great place to stay if you're on a limited budget. Surprisingly attentive service for the money.” Sep 30, 2006 by
Doug from Great Falls, VA
“A clean convenient location with full kitchen facility. Close to hwy 95.” Sep 8, 2006 by
Song from Gaithersburg, MD
“Clean, quiet, convenient facilities and in-out, best for long time stay (at least 7 days), or you have to do the house keeping yourself.” Sep 1, 2006 by
Diane from Cloquet, MN
“Attempted to change rooms on arrival-they were going to charge me three times what I had already spent for a two bed room versus queen size. Went into the room and the toilet had not been flushed for weeks and made us physically ill. They did move us and placed us in a double room to make up the difference. Charged for wireless-thought that was odd considering it was for business travelers. No food place within walking distance at all.” Aug 23, 2006 by
Mark from Sandy Hook, CT
“Dirty comforters didn¿t match. smelled so bad that it¿s worth mentioning again.” Aug 21, 2006 by
Ted from Hueytown, AL
“The desk staff did not speak enough English to be able to communicate with guest. In addition they were not trained on computers enough to solve even small problems.” Aug 15, 2006 by
David from Atlanta, GA
“I stayed at this hotel twice. For my first stay at this hotel, I was assigned a smoking room that smelled terrible. The hotel staff refused to give me another room. During my second stay at the hotel, my air conditioner did not work. The front desk staff were very unhelpful and told me that there were no other rooms and that it would take more than 36 hours before the maintenance would be able to look at the AC unit. I insisted on speaking to the manager who then assigned me to another room. Why did they tell me that there were no other rooms available when there were? In my new room, the phone did not work. The front desk again told me that they would refer the problem to maintenance who would look at the phone the next day. I asked to speak to the manager, and the lady at the front desk put me on hold. When she returned, she told me that the phone was now working. If the problem was so easy to fix, why were they unwilling to fix it until after I made a fuss? It seems that their default position is to avoid dealing with any problems until a customer goes out of his way to really complain. I would not stay here again.” Aug 14, 2006 by
Desiree from Missouri City, TX
“My family was profoundly disappointed with "Extended Stay America West Windsor". This hotel was terrible. It smelled very bad. The staff was incompetent (only one person worked at the hotel and she did not know how to issue a second card key or even tell you which exit to take from the highway to get to the hotel - even though it was only 100 feet from the highway. The room was not clean when we got there.” Aug 12, 2006 by
Melissa from Erie, PA
“This hotel was clean, and the rooms were pretty spacious. The room had a kitchenette that was nice, and the bed was very comfortable!”
