• The rooms in the hotel were spacious and the right size for the both of us.
• The toilet in the bathroom was acting slow. It takes a few flushes to clear the water in it.

“Overall, the hotel was very good. It was nice and clean and the personnel there were helpful.”

• Friendly staff.
• Rooms were a liitle outdated.

• Comfortable bed, good sized room, cookies, snacks in lobby.
• Hallways smelled of smoke, lots of hair in tub, internet down entire time of stay.

“Overall, what I expected. I am used to staying in smoke-free hotels, so the badly smelling hallway was very annoying. The chocolate chip cookies in the lobby were burnt, but still the table of snacks was a very welcoming feature. Many people rely on internet access, as did I, and the fact that the internet was down on both Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday morning was a great inconvenience. If anything, I think the hotel should offer some compensation for this, as I was not able to do any work.”

• Clean, freshly and tastefully decorated, micro fridge, good pillow selection, comfortable beds, fresh smell, quiet.
• No elevator to second floor. Lobby was very drab and not a predictor of the rooms.

“This was one of the nicest hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room was nicely decorated, clean, fresh, comfortable, quiet, and large.”

• The pool - big and clean.
• Breakfast buffet was bad.

“This hotel was awesome. The room was clean, comfortable and updated, plus had really fluffy towels. The pool was quite large with nice deck chairs and towels. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. It far exceeded my expectations for a Holiday Inn on a desolate highway! I'd recommend it for any all star village families and business people.”

• Lobby staff was nice and professional.
• Mold on bath room fixtures and tub wall.

“The lobby staff was very nice and help full with directions to various attractions. The breakfast buffet was any thing but tidy and the food was cold and stale. There was a long wait to get in although there were not a lot of people waiting to get in. When floors in a hall way are freshly mopped it is usually a good idea to close the area off or use wet floor caution signs.”

• The staff.
• The noise, seems to have a younger population of teams staying there.

“I am not a fan of this chain anyway, people were really loud up through 12:00am. The room had a faint smell.”

• They were very accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay by a day.
• The room key card did not work one day - for no apparent reason (i.e. putting them too close to your cell phone).

• Wireless for computer was slow.

“Everything was as it should be. Not luxury, but very nice and comfortable. If you are in a hurry at breakfast, spend the extra for the buffet, as menu orders took a very long time.”

• Very clean, staff was very friendly, convenient location and the breakfast was good.
• Really no "public" space, lobby was the size of a guest room.

“The in hotel restaurant is a big plus, particularly in rural areas like Oneonta.”

• Close to highway, great towels, beds comfortable.
• Not too sound proof.

“We stayed on our way somewhere, just a place to sleep. Very nice for that purpose. There was a very weird noise that was keeping us awake, and the staff took care of it promptly when we called.”

• Very convent to the interstate. Room was very clean and presentable.
• The shower lacked water pressure.

• The hotel's restaurant was absolutely fabulous.
• No explanation was given about a fire in another room.

“Good location, price was right, room and bathroom were clean & comfortable, the food in the restaurant was very affordable, huge portions and very delicious.”

• Nice clean comfortable beds and bathroom.
• That they charged my card for the room twice!

“Nice clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Hallway carpets desperately need to be replaced. Would be nicer with an indoor pool. Hallway signs don't always point the right direction to things. A Sunday brunch would also be nice. Over all very friendly helpful staff. Okay for the price paid, but would not be worth the regular room rate they charge.”

• I was double-billed for the room charges. Inept staff.

“Excellent location. Clean. W/ refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Too many smokers at entrance to hotel in the evening. Cigarette butts everywhere in the morning. Did not patronize restaurant, but the bar staff was very helpful.”
