• The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting.

“The room was clean, as well as the bathroom. It was nicely decorated and the carpet looked clean as well. It had a nice little balcony, too. The bed was comfortable and they gave you plenty of pillows.”

• The beds were very comfortable.

“The Courtyard Marriott was clean & comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant. The rooms have a space for a mini fridge, but no fridge which would have been nice to have. Breakfast is offered in the lobby for an additional cost.”

• The room decor was attractive and clean.
• There were two drawbacks: Poor access to the hotel parking lot from the interstate and the price of the breakfast menu.

“We appreciated finding a hotel on a short notice that was well appointed and clean. It was frustrating accessing the parking lot. The front desk staff have received similar complaints. The new Home Depot needs to finish the adjoining parking lot so guests can easily reach the hotel.”

• The bed and bedding was luxurious and beyond comfortable. The room was very clean. The shower was excellent. Easy on and off from TPKE.
• The breakfast was pricey. The parking was a little inconvenient, but free. The television was hard to "angle" toward the bed for viewing.

“We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very convenient, clean, friendly.”

• Easy driving to activities we needed to attend/staff very patient.
• Would have liked a kitchenette this time; you've spoiled us.

“The hotel was clean and pleasant. Staff were very patient when guests acted stupid; staff responded immediately to a non functioning switch. The hotel needs to find a better place for their entrance as it currently requires a u-turn from most common exit off Pa turnpike.”

• It was right next to the pa turnpike.
• It was on a busy highway.

“I found the hotel room clean and comfortable. The TV could have been placed better since it was a bit blocked by the wardrobe if you were watching it in bed and laying in the right side. The hotel is located on a busy street next to the pa turnpike which was convenient for me.”

• The hotel was very convenient to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the hotel was itself visually attractive.
• The breakfast buffet for $9.95 was on par with a free Continental breakfast at other hotels.

• The room was spacious, bright and modern. Walls looked fresh and the room was clean.
• They were no towels at the swimming pool site, we asked for some and were told that they were soon to come, but never did.

“We enjoyed our stay there and will recommend it to our friends. It's very modern and the staff were cordial. The only negative thing was the incident with the towels and we hope that it's not a practice but that due to human error the staff forgot to stack the shelf with towels by the pool.”

“Hard to get to - must make an illegal U-turn coming off Penn Turnpike. In the middle of a renovation that has made the property dirty and noisy (and smelly when I was there).”

“Was not notified that they were going through renovations. Staff was super nice, but it was not a very good experience and I would not stay there again. I also do not recommend it just for the fact that the access to the hotel has now been changed due to highway construction.”

• Front desk gave us good recommendations for shopping and dining.
• Could not give proper directions to hotel. Hotel was dirty and under renovation.

“Hotel room/bedding was not neat, clean looking. The front desk could not give us directions from a main road to the hotel, was put on hold several times while trying to get to the hotel. I booked two days, but would only stay one day, and lost the money on the hotel.”

• They did offer a free breakfast because of the construction.
• Internet access did not work, construction beginning at 10 AM.

“This hotel is currently under construction. The construction started at 10AM and went until 6 PM. I did not know this. I had to leave the room to get any work done, since they were working next door. The internet access would not work. I was on the phone with tech support for over one hour. The staff was friendly-obviously things were out of their hands. Hopefully when the construction is finished it will be a better place to stay.”

• It was located right off the PA Turnpike.
• It is rather plain. It had full, not queen beds.

“This is a fine hotel for a basic overnight stay. The room was large, but the beds were only full size. We didn't use any of the hotels facilities (We didn't swim or eat there) so I can't comment on them. It was more quiet this time than the last time we stayed there.”

• When they clean their balconies, they let water drip onto the chairs in my balcony.

“The hotel is in a convenient location but other than that it does not meet my expectations for the Courtyard Marriot. They had very small towels for the bathroom. They had only one small bottle of shampoo and one soap bar in the bathroom and especially for a room with an expected 2 occupants, it seemed very unprofessional. The other problem was there was no coffee creamer or sugar in the room and when I asked for some, I was given 2 sachets. The reception desk was far too professional with absolutely no smiles or any form of greeting when I arrived after a long trip. I am just shocked at the service provided what I expected to be the one of the best hotels in the city of Willow Grove.”

• Ivonne, at the front desk was VERY helpful in resolving all of the issues in her sphere of influance.
• The hotel enterance is not in any simple, or safe way accessable from the Pennsylvania Turnpike exit most business travelers will use.

“The hvac unit in the room would not function until a service call had resolved the problem. The room itself was much more modest than I am used to in a "suite" setting. The adjoining unit had a large crew of "roofers" working on it resulting in a lot of noise. This was NOT explained to me before "check-in" as I feel it should have been. I was left to my own "detective" work to resolve as to where the disturbing noise was comming from. The Hampton Inn just down the road was, at the same cost/rating a much nice accomodation, AND includes a complimentary breakfast. It is ALSO located with consideration to the most probable access road whereas this hotel is DANGEROUSLY situated with NO regard for access by an un-familiar traveler. The ONLY plus was that the three staff members I interfaced with were both professional, and personable. In my opinion, the LEAST a chain as large, and established, as the Marriot could have done is to have "comped" the breakfast as an apology for luring customers into a venue with such noisy, and possibly dangerous (I feel my security may have been compromised by having workers, possibly undocumented laborers without backround checks having complete access to the units) conditions exisiting without notifying me or obtaining my consent. We just had a terrible rape/murder within a neighboring community of the one I reside in. Had I been traveling with my wife, I would have checked-out, at any cost, and found suitable lodging that I was not concerned for my family's safety to stay in. ”

“All was good, EXCEPT, the staff at the desk was uncooperative (at least I think the main person was the night/afternoon manager). She even just stood there, hands crossed in front of her, and said NO, she wouldn't/couldn't, when I came back down to request something that I had requested at check-in and was not done (with no explanation).”
